Carter at McKinney Plumbing has helped me with residential and commercial drains for 15 years. While McKinney Plumbing often solves simple issues, they have also rescued the day in more difficult scenarios including building water lines, mending gas leaks, and upgrading sewers. Carter always solves my problems when maintaining buildings over a century old. I'm writing this review because a difficult issue was fixed after hours almost immediately after my contact. I highly recommend McKinney Plumbing for fast, reliable, and affordable service.

Our tub was slow to drain, and the sink next to it bubbled. Even though there was no immediate risk, I wanted to empty the drain line in case. I tried McKinney Plumbing because of the great reviews. Tommy's morning appearance was great. He completed the job to perfection and explained how to keep the drain clear. McKinney Plumbing is definitely worth another call.

Our bathroom remodeling project turned out better than we imagined thanks to McKinney Plumbing. The expert paid attention to every detail and kept things clean throughout the job. Really pleased with the outcome.

We noticed a slight wobble in the pedestal sink. Their experts stabilized and secured it firmly. It feels solid and reliable again.

The shower head kept dripping long after turning it off. The plumber replaced the worn out cartridge behind the handle and checked the pressure. The dripping stopped immediately.

The kitchen sprayer hose started leaking at the base. Their technicians replaced the damaged hose and tested it thoroughly. It works perfectly now.

What impressed me most was the professionalism. A leaking pipe under the sink needed attention. After calling, their plumbing crew fixed it quickly with no mess left behind.

I noticed water stains appearing under the bathroom vanity. I called this service for inspection. They located a hidden leak and replaced the damaged pipe. Their meticulous work prevented bigger repairs.

There was a constant dripping sound from the faucet that was driving me crazy, especially at night. I tried tightening it myself but made no progress. Gene thanks for doing our annual preventative maintenance inspection on the two water heaters and hydrojetting our sewer line.
This was our first time hydrojetting our sewer lines for preventative maintenance and we are happy that there wasn’t any major issues or concerns.

Ben came over late in the day to check out our now old water heater as we were experiencing brown water in our sinks and showers. He flushed it but the test afterwards spewed rusty red hot water (see tub photo). Ben unclogged a bathroom drain for me also and put in the order for a new water heater for us.

Lionel and Colby came out the next day to install the new water heater and haul away the old one. Everyone was very professional. If I asked any questions, they were happy to answer them as thoroughly as needed. It took about three hours to remove the old w/h, the old gas lines and install all the new parts and water heater. I would recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing and would be happy to have them help us again.

Colby was professional and very courteous did an excellent job of unplugging my shower drain. Such a relief. Highly recommend recommended

I’m always happy with the level of service from Benjamin Franklin plumbing. Today they did a complete clean flush on my tankless water heater and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend!

After a couple of service calls, we will choose someone else next time. Our water heaters have had a few issues in the last couple years. Each time, the entire service call just felt like a sales pitch. Trying to sell us on replacing our water filtration system, using their drain cleaning solution, replacing our working water heater that is starting to show wear and tear! It just left us feeling like we couldn’t trust their assessments because it was a money grab. The technicians have all been pleasant and work seems to be done well. But their model of upselling is not for us.

Lionel Sosa came to our house today to replace our hot water heater!! They had to do a lot of work and informed us on everything they were having to do. They could not get the hot water heater up the attic stairs because it was too wide and it was the only one in Dallas that would fit. He had to make a special trip to pick it up in Dallas. He installed a new gas flex line and made it all look very nice!! Would recommend him again!!

When I had dirt coming out of my 16-year old hot water heater, Ben recommended installing a new one, since flushing it could cause leaking due to the age. He was able to do it right away, so I wouldn't have problems, since I had company coming. So far, everything is working perfectly. Great job!
