Roto-Rooter did come out promptly to unplug a toilet at my house. When I asked for a ball park price before they came, they said that once the technician got there he would get me a final price. The price turned out to be $280.00. He pulled up into our parking lot and was gone 45 minutes later, that was the total time and $280 is way over priced. No wonder they wouldn’t give me an estimate on the phone. Kind of ridiculous. I would look for a different supplier next time.
Again, they showed up, quick repair, then out the door. But it’s way overpriced.

Nicholas appeared promptly. He gave me an estimate of what he was going to do and let me pick my level of service. He solved an emergency situation in short order and I did not have to take out a second mortgage to pay the bill. Nicholas communicated with me at every step of the process, giving me choices and a prescription of what needed to be done. It all happened in a very reasonable time period. I was impressed with the work and the continuous contact and the very reasonable weekend emergency rate. I was told Roto-Rooter was reasonable but honestly did not expect this level of reasonableness ...

My expansion tank leaked last Xmas night, so I called Roto-Rooter. Anthony showed up the next morning. I asked some questions like what might have caused the leak, how much it would cost to replace the tank, etc, and also asked for a rough quote to replace the water heater plus the expansion tank. I had to explain and translate those to my wife. Anthony was very impatience and told us he "can't wait all day" and tried to charge me a visit fee and leave, all within 15 minutes. I had to run to his van and ask him to replace the tank. He did replace it. I asked him if he could help turn the gas water heater back on (I turned it off last night, first time dealing with a leaking expansion tank), and he said he had to charge me for doing that and that he wasn't going to do anything for free. I turned the heater on myself eventually. I am going to replace the water heater soon, and I am certain I will not call Roto-Rooter for that and this marked my first and last time doing business with them.

I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday and Kenneth came to the rescue with Roto-Rooter. Super kind and explained everything, all the scenarios, very clearly - and then fixed the problem WAY quicker than I was anticipating. I'll be calling him for any future plumbing issues, for sure. Highly recommend.

This is our second time using Smith and Son Plumbing. Casey helped both times. He was prompt, very professional and knowledgeable. They installed a new water heater a couple of months ago. Today, he fixed a leak in the front yard. I would definitely recommend them and use their services again.

The plumbers did a decent job overall, but the service felt very overpriced for the work performed. The shower valve wasn’t sealed completely like it was before, and the tiles in the front beneath the shower head are damaged, exposing the area around the valve. The cleanup also felt a bit rushed. The team was polite and finished the job, but based on the overall experience and cost, I don’t think I’d use this company again in the future.

I called Smith and Son to install a water heater for my dad. He's a bit older and had some trouble working out the details for the financing. The office walked him through the entire process, and he was able to get his new water heater installed on the same day with financing. I'm grateful to the entire Smith and Son team for their patience and all the help they gave my dad.

Great pricing on Bradford White hot water heater. Technicians (Casey & Gage) arrived on time. Excellent install and techs were very professional and knowledgeable. They addressed all my questions and suggestions. Very courteous & polite. Will differently use Smith and Son Plumbing again.

Excellent work. I was very impressed. I can honestly say it turned out and looked much better than I had expected. The photo by the green lid is what it did look like and the other photo shows what it looked like after.
