Plumbing reviews in Plano, Texas

Evan was courteous, professional and answered all my questions! We've had multiple companies come to our home previously that were unable to address the air balance issue, with no guidance or solution. Today, not only has the issue been addressed but he gave specifics as to why these issues are actually occurring! 10/10 would highly recommend!!

Hugo was so kind and helpful! He figured out the issue making our room cold and took his time to fix it and make sure we were satisfied with the outcome. He even brought in boxes off the porch! Highly recommend!

Mr. Ricardo Monge was very thorough and professional. He identified our electrical problems, completed the repairs, and discussed what to expect in the future.
This was one of the best experiences that I have had for electrical repair services. I appreciated the transparency about the evaluation process, potential problems, as well as the time and costs for the potential problems.
Overall great experience! -
Oscar arrived. Discussed situation. Gave us several options for the repair and financing. Agreed to the work and was completed in approximately 1 hour. Excellent overall. Highly recommend Milestone for HVAC or Plumbing repair.

Robert is exceptional. He deserves 10 stars. Along with his great customer service skills, professional and technical expertise; he cares enough to do his very best and aims to please. He was able to locate the source of the clog that stopped up my shower, tub and toilet quickly and efficiently using his highly specialized camera equipment. He checked the integrity of my pipes with the skill one might expect of a heart surgeon. Robert answered my questions in detail and was very thorough, checking my water pressure and examining every faucet, sink, tub, toilet and shower in and outside my house. He even inspected my water heater. What an amazing customer experience.
I also have to add from the minute I spoke to the person who answered my call, to the supervisor who approved my same day appointment, to Robert; I am beyond impressed with the integrity and level of customer care I experienced and the positive culture of this organization. I highly recommend them for your electrical, HVAC and plumbing needs. They really hold themselves to a very high standard. You will not be disappointed. -
Purchased a new home, and ofc day 1... breaker trips. I was looking for a trustable electrician as I'm new to the area and w/19K+ reviews at a 4.9 I was like they must know what they are doing so I tried Milestone.
The technician Eddie C. came out presented me with the options to remediate and he took care of the problem in something like 3 minutes!!!
Amazing Work! Truly appreciated 👏 Thank you Eddie and the Milestone team. I'm new to the area, but I have found my local electrician! -
Harrison and his team did an outstanding job today. Very professional, courteous and friendly. The work, installing a full-home water filtration system, was completed with high quality and on time. Great job!!!

I had an outstanding experience with Akex Dominguez, the HVAC technician today. From the moment he arrived, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly explain the entire program, what needed attention, and why. I really appreciated how clearly he broke everything down and offered honest, helpful suggestions without any pressure.
His attention to detail, patience, and excellent customer service truly set him apart. It’s rare to find someone who not only knows their craft but also cares about making sure the customer understands and feels comfortable.
Highly recommend—excellent service from start to finish! -
Scott Wagley provided electrical services today as part of a tankless water heater installation. He was very professional, and diligent in ensuring we were informed about the pros and cons of the different options available to us, while remaining sensitive to what was most important to us. He went above and beyond by ensuring past work by Milestone was done correctly and addressing concerns noted. We would definitely feel comfortable using Scott for electrical needs in the future.
Jordan Cooper provided installation of the water heater and he also did a wonderful job. The installation was done efficiently and he was proactive in managing any unexpected circumstances that arose. Afterwards he explained all we needed to know about caring for the equipment and what to expect following our appointment. We would use Jordan again in the future. -
Amazing!! When I initially tried to book an appointment the website declined me, but immediately someone called me and took a care of me. Phone customer service, stellar.
Ricardo, our technician, if I could give him 10 stars I would. Professional. Detailed. Patient and informative. He took his time and explained everything to us so we understood the issues as well to prepare for needs to be done down the line. Highly recommend Milestone and their team!! Thank you. -
Jose did an absolute great job. He was scheduled for an A/C tune up and unfortunately found some very bad things. That being said, he was very informative and was patient as I asked my hundreds of questions. Great experience.

Luis Medina is a very thorough plumbing technician and checked all avenues and found no slab leak. He recommended I contact my sprinkler repair so I did. Luis was also kind enough to climb in attic and change my HVAC filter I am very thankful for Luis and he did an outstanding job today Monday March 2, 2026 Sincerely Marie Streit Green 🍀

Roberto did an excellent job. I really appreciated his kindness and patience on the job. It really helped calm me down after a very stressful morning. Armando was also excellent! They were a great team.

José did a great job and he was respectful of my property. He gave great explanations of my HVAC systems and helped me to understand Milestone‘s policies and procedures. His explanations were more concise and clear than anyone who has come to my house before.

Exterior faucets in the front and back of our home were replaced with a freeze resistant pipe and new faucets. This required the plumber cut into the brick wall to access the pipes. Plumbing was performed by one employee on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the brick was not salvaged by the plumber who performed the work. Today Milestone sent Brian Miller out to repair the brick and mortar. Brian did an excellent job matching brick and installing the same. Thank you Brian for taking pride in your work and for doing such a fine job. Additionally, I wish to thank Chad Molock who originally quoted the job and CJ in Milestone’s office for addressing my concerns with the original exterior repair. Five Stars!

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but a past personal experience with Milestone, specifically technician Jose G. 100% warrants it. So read my personal opinion on our personal experience, if you want to potentially save thousands of dollars from used car salesmen-like tactics.
Our 1st floor HVAC unit did not blow cold air when the AC was turned on. The fan was running, but wasn't blowing cold air when we dialed down the temperature. I called Milestone for a diagnosis, which they charge $99 for a service call. Here's what Jose diagnosed from his brief visit, as per his documentation:
* Unit starter burnt
* Motor leaking
* Duel[sic] controller leaking
Because our 2nd floor attic ladder access to the HVAC units was original wooden builder-grade from the early 90's and became unstable/wobbly years of usage by the previous homeowner, Jose refused to climb into the attic to examine the 1st floor HVAC unit, but was glad to charge us $99 for a partial diagnosis of the outdoor condenser. I wouldn't be as miffed if he charged us half. He's also glad to quote us a new attic ladder using Milestone's affiliate, Hank's Handyman service, more details below.
Here's what we were quoted.
[Option A]
$4,190 to replace duel[sic] controller, unit starter, outdoor motor and attic ladder.
[Option B]
$2,251 same as Option A but without attic ladder (so Milestone, or just Jose, wants me to pay $1,939 for an attic ladder replacement and pocket $1k in profit).
[Option C]
$808 to replace "the defective part only," according to Jose.
Naturally being the salesmen that he is, and relying on what he thought was my ignorance, he recommended a whole-home solution, i.e. replacing our entire HVAC unit with an ultra high efficient dual-speed system for $25~$30k.
We hired Dragon Air Services in Plano for a second opinion and they quickly diagnosed that the contactor (basically a $16~$20 electrical relay) in the outdoor condenser unit was fried from arcing, due to a loose 24v wire connection and they replaced it on the spot. They checked the refrigerant level and recommended that we add refrigerant to our downstairs unit. They also went up our attic to inspect our HVAC units and made professional and honest recommendations (i.e. that our 2nd floor unit is still in great shape), despite the wobbly attic ladder. We were charged less than a quarter of Milestone's Option C by Dragon for the service call, parts and labor. And no where did they find a burnt starter, leaking motor or "duel controller leaking."
Moral of the story? Get quotes from at least three contractors and always have second opinions. A $20 part (Jard brand 1.5 pole definite purpose contactor) which you can buy from SupplyHouse.com and get it within a day, and fix it yourself in 20 minutes (which I eventually ended up doing with our 2nd floor unit) and Milestone wanted up to $4,190. How the HECK do you even justify and arrive at "unit starter burnt, motor leaking and duel controller leaking" from a burnt $20 contactor and without looking at the air handler in the attic? What EVEN is a "duel[sic] controller"??? I'm guessing Milestone techs get some kind of fluffy commission or kickback while preying on HVAC-ignorant customers for this kind of garbage to occur.
Knowing what I know now, do yourself a favor and keep a few capacitors and contactors on hand so you'll be ready when they fail. They'll cost you no more than $50 total. Watch some YouTube videos and perform these simple DIY 20-minute repairs yourself when you it's time and save hundreds if not potentially thousands of dollars.
And our wobbly attic ladder that Jose refused to climb? We had it replaced for $995 through SafeLifts of Texas (read my separate review on them). -
We’ve been using Bacon for a few years now. They ALWAYS do a wonderful, thorough job. Hudson was helpful and knowledgeable and took care of the items that he came for.
-
Angel did a terrific job working with me. Polite,friendly and knows what was needed. Only reason I went with other was loyalty. I liked working with him and maybe in the future.

Christian Herrera was prompt, professional, detailed, and he cleaned up very well behind himself!! Just an overall outstanding technician!! I would definitely recommend his work!! Thank you Christian!!

Blake M....a master plumber - was excellent. First, I was surprised that Bacon Plumbing was able to send someone on a same day notice, within a few hours for water backing up and overflowing. The person who arrived, Blake, was clearly highly skilled and knowledgeable. He was very nice, yet focused on the job and listened well, demonstrating that he understood our goals and he recommended solutions that would meet them. I trust his recommendations and the timing we discussed. I definitely would recommend Blake to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled plumber. It was a good experience and I would request him again.

I'm changing our review of one star to 5 stars. My husband gave a one star review at first since it seemed like a bait and switch was being pulled. But the two technicians who came out agreed to honor the $99 coupon and did an excellent job. They were very polite and worked a long time to clean the drain. In the end I'm very pleased with their service.
