We are Canadian customers owning both a high end Lennox furnace and 9 thousand dollar AC unit.
The AC unit has failed 2 times in the past 5 years or so. It broke down recently this time requiring a new coil! To make matters worse we are told that these are not available in Canada and will take WEEKS to arrive.
We have already spent 600$ (and more to to spend on labour charges)…and are in the middle of a heatwave.
I am not a happy customer.
My brother has been served by a Carrier unit for the past 30 years without a glitch.
We expected better from Lennox; we expect better service

Today January 23rd. Ive been dealing with trying to figure out how to get paid for labor warranty. And both lennox and aig keep sending me back and forth. I cannot get a direct answer or speak with someone who is even properly trained to answer. This has been ridiculous, to have to be dealing with this since November.

Our company just started in 2025 and this is really detering us from offering any lennox products.

Why oh why didn't I go to the reviews before I bought a Lennox!
The company cannot tell me who they sold my unit to. Can you believe that? A company as big a Lennox has no way to track where the unit they installed in my home was originally sold and shipped to. Now I come and see all of these reviews. I am literally sick to my stomach.

Quality has tanked. My last Lennox lasted 12 years. Now in less than 4 years with a new unit, I've had to get major service on my unit 5 times. One of them was the replacement of the exterior coil, and another one was a major leak in the fittings near the coil, where the copper just wore away in 3-4 years!
The unit is within a covered stairwell and under a roof. The previous Lennix, I had gave me 12 years of reasonable service and so I went out of my way to buy the same brand. Big mistake!

Adding insult to injury, within one year the corrosion and rust, made it look like my previous unit looked after 7 years. And I even applied a protective coat to the outer housing. All to no avail. On the last meltdown, no parts and no date for getting them! Are they kidding? Nope. After 15 years with Lennox, I switched to another brand.

This company needs to get there stuff together properly, if zero stars is an option I would have done it…Furnaces and air conditioners are simple sequence of operation units. As a service technician who’s been in the field for many years. Can confidently say this company has the worst design for system operation AND ZERO TECH SUPPORT and the WORST customer support.

For anyone who is thinking to buy Lennox from a dealer installer DO NOT. You will have nothing but problems. Lennox flat out needs to redesign there equipment. Use higher quality parts or just fire your entire engineer departments.
Go back to the drawing board fix this problem with your company.

Buy a carrier, trane, rheem or even the the cheap Goodmans. Anything works better than a Lennox.

Update-- Lennox replied to my posting (below) asking me to contact them. I emailed them last week but they have not responded, surprise surprise.

My new Lennox furnace, purchased in June 2024, stopped working in late January 2026 (after 1.5 years). So, right off the bat, be aware that this does not meet my definition of "robust" or "trustworthy." Here's the model number: EL297UH070XV36B.

Unfortunately, the situation gets worse from there. The authorized installer (Action Plumbing, Sun Prairie, WI) couldn't send a technician to diagnose/repair it until the next day, despite their claim of 24/7 support, and the fact that the furnace was under parts and labor warranty. Given the 0F forecast, it wasn't safe to simply let the house freeze, risking frozen water pipes. So I obtained emergency repair from another HVAC company, which cost me $230. They informed me that the furnace blower module needed replacing. But because they didn't do the original install, I'd have to pay them $600 for labor. I called the original installer again (Action) and asked them to do the repair and they refused. So I'm out $850 on a nearly new furnace that's still under warranty.

So then I called Lennox, and while their customer support initially listened to what happened, when I asked for their help they told me it was my fault for not agreeing to an extra labor warranty from Lennox. When I pointed out that the installer had a 2 year labor warranty but wasn't honoring it, Lennox told me they weren't responsible for the business practices of their "independent" dealers. When I noted that all this started because their product failed, and asked if they stood behind their product, they repeated that I should have bought an additional labor warranty directly from Lennox. I would have taken any kind of help— splitting the cost of the emergency repair, maybe putting pressure on the dealer to cover the labor under warranty. But Lennox made it clear that it was my fault and they weren't going to do anything.

Bottom line— I'll never buy another Lennox product, since the furnace failed after only 1.5 years, and because when I asked them for help they told me it was my own fault.

For what it's worth, the customer service person, whose name was "Shamissa" (I'm sure I'm not spelling it correctly, but that's all she told me) was literally shouting at me at the end of the conversation and telling me it was my "choice" to pay to have the furnace repaired. Honestly, it was totally insulting. Whatever training they are giving their customer service people, it's failing, just like their furnace.

Don’t know commercial kitchen equipment apparently so it’s misleading to state that they do service on those

Very accommodating to my schedule, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, took his shoes off at the door. Pricing was very low compared to most of my past experiences, highly recommended.

Dipson fixed made my house cold and saved me money. Didnt try to overcharge me, and try to upsell me to a new unit. Just replaced only some old relatively inexpensive parts that failed.
