I called these guys by chance, and I am glad I did. They were extremely professional and attentive on the phone. The best part is that the technician they sent me had identified the problem with my heater before he even arrived. Once here, he solved the issue in no time at all.

Our heater died the night before the freeze. We called 5 Star and had a new unit installed just in time for the afternoon’s freezing temperatures. Fast and friendly service—we couldn’t have asked for more!

Victor was my technician. He was incredible. He was very thorough with his work and answered all of my questions. He was extremely professional and I highly recommend him and this company to anyone that is needing HVAC work. I was very impressed with him and will continue to use them for anything HVAC related in the future. Thank you Victor and Five Star!!!!

Great job with new HVAC system install. They gave us a competitive price and add on services. Install team was professional and was careful to protect our house and carpets. Management was responsive and quickly responded to any concerns we had. Switching to them as our HVAC providers.

Pedro and Steven at 5 Star were amazing. They came out same day to look at my unit and it was already late in the afternoon. Very professional and gave me updates through the job. Would if you’re in the Rowlett area and need heating and air services call 5 Star.

After being ripped off by a few unreliable, indecent and opportunistic HVAC “professionals” I’m REALLY optimistic I’ve found THE ONE!

Gosh, what a big difference to have honest, reasonable, available and just great humans take care of Your HVAC!

I mean time still has to prove the work, but I have very high hopes and am very confident it will!

Pedro was assigned same day to check out a safety and code concern a “WILL NOT NAME” other HVAC company tried to scare me into “correcting”, I didn’t buy it so I called 5-star to take a look and just tell me if they saw anything wrong with the unit, code violations or concerns.

He was prompt, communicative, and honest about some of the issues he also found, but none were code violations or safety concerns as the other HVAC person tried to con me into believing.

Anyways, Pedro even addressed a couple minor issues on the spot before even getting a confirmed contract signed, just bc he was there and it was easy… He soon after gave me a fair quote to address some sealing of the system and filling of Freon for most efficiency. He was there next business day and took care of it all with pictures to boot! As an out of state homeowner/ landlord, I couldn’t tell you how much I appreciated that. He Also had a recommendation I hope to address at a later time.

So far, I’m beyond appreciative and feel like I finally have an “HVAC guy” o can trust!

We called on the worst weather day of the past 5 years … this company picked up the phone on the second ring … 5 other companies never even either picked up or called back after leaving our number . Tech showed up, he was polite , friendly… and performed the work effectively and in a timely manner .

Prompt response. Very helpful during urgent situations. Not cheap but I believe their prices are competitive with the existing market. Efficient work. Did not take long to replace the coil for the AC unit. Their technicians are polite and respectful of your home environment .

Steven, was on time and very courteous. He took the time to discuss items he thought I should be aware of. The staff at 5 Star were prompt to help us work aroundour morningschedule. I would recommend Steven and 5-Star HVAC.

Pedro and the technicians from 5 Star HVAC Contractors were very professional and knowledgeable about our Coil issue and repaired it within 24 hours of a service inspection. Fast and efficient. They accommodated our schedule with the repairs as well. Great company, would recommend and use them again.

11/11/2025: Update. Decided to sign up for the reasonable yearly service plan. Victor gave my unit a thorough inspection and made necessary adjustments and changed my filter. Excellent work done today!! Very happy with this company!

In less than 2 hours he had my system back up and running with a new motor. Rick Bledsoe was the Tech, and he did a great job! Fast and efficient! Quoted me one price and stuck with it. Wow! I’m really impressed with this company and their tech, Victor Lopez. He explained everything clearly and even fixed an issue I didn’t realize I had. The service today was amazing, and the annual maintenance package was super affordable. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable HVAC services!

5 Star HVAC Contractors did an excellent job installing our new HVAC system and ductwork. We had 5 different contractors out to give us bids. 5 Star was competitively priced compared to the others but also offered us a labour warranty that the others were going to charge extra for. Additionally, the financing option they gave us was second to none.
Pedro and Omar were incredibly helpful and genuinely have exceeded our expectations. Which is exactly what Jose told me they would do. We will use them again in the future!

5Star HVAC came through when we needed them the most: in the middle of a winter storm. They were attentive, professional, and timely. The tech that came to fix our heat was able to solve the problem. I absolutely recommend their work!

Five Star HVAC Contractors are extremely detailed, responsive and fair. I had a complex duct system, so the original assessor wanted to make sure one of his supervisors also reviewed to make sure they captured all the needs and provided the best service/price possible. They were efficient and demonstrated strong expertise in their services, quickly providing solutions and getting my house back on track. Highly, highly recommend!

The HVAC tech did a great job with the maintenance check up and provided a thorough review of all work completed. He also pointed out some issues with the AC that I didn’t know about and will further investigate in the spring. Price is great too, for 2 check ups per year, including filter changes. Highly recommend!

5Star replaced two older HVAC units. The price was competitive, their installation was very good. The two employees explained the system and then cleaned up after themselves. Would use again.

We love our HVAC Company. Our pilot light to our heater wouldn't stay lit and our house was at 63 degrees and droppIng fast. I sent him a short video of what it was doing, and he got my husband on the phone and guided him through the process of fixing it. Now, our house is heating up and it didn't cost us a dime.

5 Star HVAC is amazing!!

The first big winter storm hit temperature is dropped and my heat pump wasn’t keeping up. I called C & S Friday afternoon. They scheduled an appointment for Monday afternoon. Then Saturday, their service department called and walked me through resetting my thermostats to turn on the emergency heat. This worked wonders. As promised, two technicians arrived Monday early afternoon and made permanent repairs to my heat pump units it’s still cold, but the house is warm. I couldn’t ask for better service. This was Definitely 5 star service. and would recommend them to everyone. Thanks, C&S!

5 Star HVAC Contractors lived up to everything they promised. Honest Contractors, Excellent Service, Fair Prices. I needed regular maintenance on my condo unit which has the blower inconveniently located in the bathroom ceiling. I wanted service before turning the furnace on for the year. My tech (Victor) did an excellent job of carefully accessing the unit, brought a tarp to cover my tub, and cleaned up perfectly. He explained everything he was doing, answered all my questions, and provided suggestions for care that would prevent large unexpected future repairs. He also checked my outside compressor levels and gave me a clean bill of health. Scheduling was easy to setup with text updates available, arrival was on time, no gimmicks or pressure sales. Just the service I asked for. I asked if I could do an annual plan with them because I was so impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, pricing. Hard to find in today’s world! As a real estate broker, I am very cautious about contractor referrals to my clients but I will, without reservation, highly recommend 5 Star HVAC Contractors to all my clients and business associates.
