It’s no fun when these systems start to get old, but 5 star did a good job helping me weigh the balance between repair or replace. In my case, we decided to see if we could get a few more months out of it since summer is coming to a close. My tech did a good job of explaining the options and possible next steps.

5 star was quick to come and take a look at my system and asses what was happening. They gave fair prices for options to fix what was not working well on a 10 year old unit. They scheduled quickly and installed quickly. It was instantly noticeable that their work made a difference. Grateful for their flexibility and expertise!

Pedro and Steven did a gateway jib getting our heat unit up and running. They took time to troubleshoot the problem to come up to the best solution. I felt they were fair and reasonable.

Victor showed up during the scheduled time, which I very much appreciate. He listened to my description of the issue and promptly got to work. He found some issues and fixed them. Both units are working great. This Texas heat can take a toll on these ac units. I decided it was best to have them looked at before the issues escalate and breakdown at 2am on the weekend. Thanks again.

These folks do consistently great work. I’ve had them out half a dozen times over the course of owning my house and every time they brought good value and solid performance. Highly recommend them.

Wonderful service! Our AC went out on a hot day. 5Star was here within a few hours (when all the other companies said they couldn’t be here for 12-48 hours). Our AC was repaired within an hour at a reasonable cost. We are going to switch our service to 5Star!

Thank you Jose and Rick for moving up my scheduled diagnosis to the next day (Saturday) versus two days later that was only available option with online booking. Rick arrived and quickly diagnosed my issue, he also gave me some very useful advice and information about my non-working outside unit. An hour later I was back up and running and house was cooling as should be. Thank you 5 Star for being prompt and proactive..

A/C and heating needs. Jose Varga and company have been taking care of my house for the past 6 years. A new 3 ton unit installed in March and Another in August. Always a fair competitive price and the service and professionalism is second to none. Highly recommend these guys.

Victor was super. He was kind and quick to respond on text messages. He was on time for our appt., flexible to change times when my schedule was disrupted. He was thorough and explained everything he was checking. He followed up right away, as committed, was professional and very nice.

Ricky came out & found the problem. The crew came out & did the repair very professional. The guys, Dayton & Jose we spoke to on the phone were very nice & helpful. I would recommend 5 Star.

We had a mini split system put in our garage. They were on time and very professional. They completed the job sooner than expected and cleaned up. It has been over an hour and it is perfect for what we wanted. I would recommend them highly. They also have a great servicing plan.

Victor was great in explaining all the options for a repair of our system with no pressure to replace it. However, since our system was 20 years old, we decided to replace it. Again, Victor explained the options thoroughly with no pressure. A great first experience with 5 Star! The installation was also professionally done. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend 5 Star to ensure your getting the expertise needed to diagnose your HVAC system. I went with a different company first who wasn't very approachable and didn't give me many options to resolve my issue. So I asked 5 Star to come out to provide a second opinion. I had a condenser unit leaking refrigerant and Pedro was able to quickly diagnose the issue and provide my options including pros and cons for each. Pedro was very knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel confident in my ultimate decision. You won't go wrong with choosing 5 Star!

We are so happy with our new system. All of the guys were very professional, kind, considerate, competent, and worked hard every minute they were here. We were extremely impressed! My husband and I were thankful to Jose for coming out fast on a Friday evening after work hours and taking care of us. We were even able to get our new system installed the next day! Unbelievable for August in Texas when it seems everyone’s air is giving trouble.
