Kris, owner of Volt Appliance Repair, was very friendly, professional & informative about the build up of lint in our dryer.
Kris came out to check & clean our dryer for lint buildup. We were on the verge of a fire hazard, it would have taken only a spark and the house could have caught on fire.
The exhaust on the roof was closed, we don't know why or for how long it had been closed.
We have only been here for 4 years & there was build up of lint all the way from the dryer to the closed vent on the roof, & only 2 of us live in the house!! What would your vent be like if you have laundry for a family of more than 2.
Kris was very informative about what was going on & stated that, per firefighters, 80% of house fires are caused by dryers.
We will definitely keep Kris coming every so often to check our dryer, as well as calling him for any problems with other appliances!!
We are going to advise our family & neighbors to check their dryer vents as well!
