We have Texas solar install solar panels on our house in 2021. Since then they have never done any maintenance nor cleaning. Now, we needed them to come check out why the panels are not working but it’s impossible to get a hold them. They were also supposed to provide information to HOA but they ghosted us. No emails, no response to phone calls. We are talking to our legal advisor to sue them. Please read the reviews and don’t be fooled by a company that has no business ethics.

We had an appointment with South Texas Solar on March 14, 2025. On Feb. 25, 2025, the company took $300.00 as an advanced payment. On March 14th, they didn't come to do the service we bought. I called them to reschedule for April 25th. They also didn't show on that day, so I called again and rescheduled for May 16th, while also requesting my money be returned until the service was performed. That request wasn't honored, and the company didn't show on May 16th. I've called twice and left messages, and no one has returned my calls. I've heard some banks approve reversals of payments if a company hasn't provided the service their customers paid for. I'm going to try that first.

When I purchased my solar system in 2021, one of the marketing ploys was “free solar cleanings” for life. I’m not sure if that’s still part of the spiel. But if it is, don’t count on it.

I’ve been trying to schedule a cleaning for months. No one answers the phone. And on the off chance someone does, they schedule the cleaning about a month away and then never show up.

And then once it gets below 70 degrees, you are told that the panels are too fragile to clean in the cold weather.

My system works, but I’ve been extremely dissatisfied with the customer service.

Like everyone else I wish I could’ve avoided this company. Can’t even get a call back when trying to get my solar panels serviced. They have warranties they can’t even uphold such as a cleaning every 6 months. I haven’t gotten a clean in almost 2 years now. Now i’m dealing with trying to do a roof damage claim with my insurance but if i hire another company to remove and reinstall the panels it voids the warranty with these guys. So i’ve been trying to get a hold of south texas solar systems for 5 days now and get nothing but the same voicemail. Truly dissapointing company who loves to take your money but can’t even uphold their service.

South Texas Solar is great to work with while you’re spending tens of thousands of dollars to purchase and have solar panels installed. Once installed it’s a very different story. We purchased our panels from South Texas Solar a little more than 2 years ago. In their contract they provide 2 free cleanings per year…good luck getting them out that!!

Our gateway stopped responding in February this year. I contacted Enphase and they quickly sent us a replacement gateway but it needs to be installed. I contacted South Texas Solar and they scheduled me a few weeks out. I took the day off to be home and they never showed up. I called the next day and they said “oh yes we only had 3 people scheduled in your area and 2 canceled”. Ok so you just don’t show up? No home call??? Bad business! So they rescheduled me for the following week, today! I had them add my brother to their list in my area because in 5 years they’ve only cleaned his panels once. Thinking to myself, that gives them 2 people right there. So they had 4 people scheduled and my brother on stand by in case they had a cancellation. It is now 6pm and see if you can guess what happened? Yep…no call no show again!!

The customer service with South Texas Solar is terrible. If I could give zero stars I would.

I’ve contacted Enphase back and they’ve sent an email to South Texas Solar. My guess is they no longer care about the customers who aren’t spending new money with them.

Absolutely horrible!!

Called for service in late February told had to pay service fee $275.00 for appointment so we paid and they took money, we are now in late April still have not come to service our solar panels. All calls go unanswered even given service mgr name and number, those go unanswered as well. We ended up calling another solar company hoping to get system fixed soon. However all calls to get reimbursed from Texas Solar for the (no) service result in no answer we have left several messages have also called a sales rep requesting a call about reimbursement of our payment. Getting ready to report with the Better Business Bureau and thinking of calling KENS5 TV see if they can help us. Do not use this company!!

We signed up at the end of 2018...a busy time as everyone wanted a tax break. They got off to slow start installing in January 2019. First day a
few panels...next day the entire system. As an Electrical Engineer, I was observing every point of the installation. Very professional JOB! There Master Electrician made several trip after reviewing the installation photos. Mainly issues with decals. The system is working at or above my expectations, generating more power than it was rated at one point. The system is saving us money in two ways. We are making more power than we are using even with a 5 ton AC. Second, is a real added benefit. By covering up nearly all of my south facing roof, we have essentially shaded the hottest part of our roof. With the ac set at 76 daytime and 71 nighttime, it is late afternoon before the AC cycles. We have had no issues with this Company, but I got the impression they would work with me to resolve any issue.

We got our panels in 2021 and like a broken record, they haven't kept up with their end of the deal. Our panels have been needing a cleaning for a couple of years now and as always they do not take my calls, they don't return emails, they don't call back, and they've left us high and dry when we were scheduled for a cleaning. No call, no show. I see the owner responds to some of the reviews but I'm guessing nothing happens. I've actually contacted the bank and told them of this ordeal as they're the one footing the bill. Have some dignity and take care of your customers, stop with the lip service.

DO NOT do any business with this company. My Tesla batteries stopped working since September and they ordered replacement batteries and they haven’t been delivered. I called them many times to try to get them to deliver them and install them, but now their office numbers have been disconnected and I can only reach one of his technicians that has told me he James the owner hasn’t responded to his texts. This is very unprofessional of the owner. I wish I knew how unprofessional James way, so that I could’ve done with another company.

Failed to make appointment time 2 days in a row. Did not call to notify me the first day.

Called to get a quote for business purposes and the lady who answers phone is not very attentive. She asks the same question 2/3 times and didn't even know how to see if she had availability . First impression is everything, went ahead and just called someone else for a quote.

Customer service was poor. They didn't come out during the schedule time. And could give me any up dates on when the tech would be coming out. When I tried to call the office said the tech said he tried to call. But I have no missed calls from anybody. And will talking to the office hung up on me.

called to get info on fees and charges would only give an estimate fee- wanted me to pay 99 dollars just to see what their fees are for certain services. I am not comfortable paying that much when they could be charging much more than the next guy for all i know! I was told "we are not comortable with giving fee quotes and then hung up on me. Will NEVER use this comfortable. What horrible customer service.

Accurate Electric Company did several jobs in a new house purchase, including installing can lights, adding new circuits for fridge and oven, and fixing a few issues found during the inspection. The work was excellent, and tech was very helpful and friendly. Thanks!

They were quick to respond, quality service, and were very professional. Our outdoor outlet quit working, they fixed it in no time. I highly recommend Accurate Electric Company for all your electrical needs! Special thanks to electrician Mike for his outstanding work!

Don't use this company for your safety. I don’t usually right I review but this company put my home and family at risk!
They came to fix my breaker for my A/c unit not only did they put in the wrong breaker that could start a fire! They did not even put in the right size for the a/c unit after I told them what size it needs. They put in a 15amp for a 60amp a/c unit! When I called to inform them of their mistake and they needed to fix it. They had the nerve to tell me I would need to pay again for parts and labor for them to fix their mistake! I was shocked they took no responsibility for their careless action and put my family at risk! They did not offer any help or apology. I added a photo of my electric box with the wrong breaker.
Not to mention an experienced electrician was shocked they installed a 15amp stating that would trip any a/c unit.
I was lucky nothing serious happened to my home or family and was able to the matter fixed with a more experienced company!
I suggested going with a more reliable company.

Wanted 250 service fee just to come to the house for an estimate.

*Avoid at all costs*. Appointment was scheduled, no one showed up. No one answered when I called and I got the run around when I called the following day. Still no answer from them even after the outsourced dispatcher claimed a manager would call back. Take your money somewhere else!

I called Aaron Electrical Co. and talked to the owner. He sent me an electrician that I will use again and I will recommend him to anyone else needing one. I called around and got quotes for a 240 amp panel upgrade and was amused when he gave the best quote. He was extremely helpful with answering questions prior to the install, and the installation looks great. It could not look more professional than this. I was very happy with his work and would absolutely recommend.
