Customer service was excellent. I was able to get a quote quickly, and once confirmed, they scheduled to clean within a couple of days. This cleaning was to prepare a new construction house for move in ready. They did a great job and we will continue to use them.

The ladies working for Merry Maids are all friendly, hard working, and efficient. I appreciate how careful they are with our belongings and how much cleaner my house is after the ladies are finished. My husband is also very happy with their work. He notices as soon as he gets home from work.

The cleaning crew I had was pretty good. On the other hand, your office staff and bookkeeping were just awful. There was a mixup with my credit cards. I called to resolve it and the person I spoke with was extremely rude! Still waiting for a call back . I'm sure you don't want your business represented in that way! I would appreciate a call to resolve this issue. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Stovetop and refrigerator didn't get cleaned during my "Move-out" cleaning, there were still food crumbs on the counter tops, and inside the pantry didn't get wiped down. I kind of expected more for what they charged.

To their credit, the floors and base moldings are all spotless.

The Merry Maids team who cleaned my daughter's apartment was fantastic! They did a deep clean for a move-out and when they left the place was shining. I was especially impressed with how great they cleaned the oven and refrigerator. I'm definitely contacting them to do my home!

First service was great, after that it's been completely down hill. 2nd service people showed up for 10 min sweeped the floors and left. 3rd time they claimed they cleaned the house I looked on my cameras to see the ladies walked in looked in my fridge then walked out of the house. The company did apologize for it, but still ran my card as though cleaning was done. Currently do not recommend.

We have been using Merry Maids for almost a year now. We are very happy with their services and especially Deisy. She does a wonderful job cleaning our house. We referred our neighbor and they are using Merry Maids now. Give them an opportunity to clean your house and you be happy you did !!!

What is considered a move in cleaning? Nothing was touch in the kitchen at all. I am having to clean all cupboards inside and out. There was bugs on the floor in one of the bathrooms that was not swept up. I would give a zero review but there isn’t a zero to pick.

I wish I could give a ZERO. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They came and did a 30-minute cleaning, which was terrible. They tried to charge me $299.85 for that 30 minutes. I told them I was unhappy and would not pay until it was corrected.

I was offered a free cleaning with a supervisor, but they would never confirm a time or date for that cleaning. After going round and round with them for several weeks, I told them I was not going to hire them again.

They have sent my account to a debt collector, and are charging me for two and a half cleanings (even though they only ever did one). I am fighting the charges.

I really wish I had looked at this before hiring them.

Paid ~$565 for the “move-out package.” Granted, I should have ensured the exact services I would receive and the precise cleaning that would occur, but moving out of a home typically involves a thorough, in-depth cleaning. What I saw after the cleaners were “finished” was worth far less than the amount I paid.

Doors had marks of some sort, the cupboard liners were all left in the sink, the floors looked like they had been swept but not mopped, the walls were not touched by a single cleaning item… I will stop there because there’s really no point in continuing the litany of discrepancies.

When I called to confirm the services which I expected to be rendered, it was only then I was told walls are not included in the move-out package. I paid extra for the oven and refrigerator, so I asked if I could pay extra for the walls. No. That’s what I was informed. “We don’t do walls because they’re difficult.” those were the words almost verbatim (paraphrased, yes) from the manager.

Look somewhere else for your cleaning needs and don’t be like me: confirm the exact services to be provided before the services are provided.

The cleaners were sent back to the property to clean the doors. Just the doors.

I had high hopes of being able to find a consistent cleaner for my home. After the first cleaning, I came home to my counters and stoved not wiped down, and my floors were not mopped. I called them and they sent a crew back to clean those areas.

I thought this was a one time mistake, as I was certain that they wouldn't miss these common areas again, but I was mistaken. For the second cleaning, they gave me an estimated arrival time between 12PM-2PM. I received a notification at 9:30AM that they were on there way, I responded to let them know I would not be available till 12PM, yet they still came 15 minutes later at 9:45AM.

After coming back home from them cleaning, I came home to my counters not wiped down again, my floors were not mopped, and various areas such as my toilet, entertainment center, and night stands were not wiped down. At this point, it was very frustrating as I thought the first time was a honest mistake.

I called to cancel my service as after 2 cleanings, the same problems had reoccurred. The lady said they would have to charge me for a early cancellation fee as she claimed to have no way to wave it.

I typically stray away from writing negative reviews, as I like to give businesses the benefit of it being a one off that will not happen again, but unfortunately that was not the case here.

I hope this helps shine light to the franchise owner on some areas of improvement, as well as potential clients looking for cleaning services.

They did an amazing job. I have three dogs so dog hair is a big problem and my floors were spotless. I’m gonna be using them on a weekly basis. And everything was so nice after they left they even made a little bow with my kitchen towels

Hired to do a move-in deep clean. I won't give them the lowest rating since some things were cleaned, but others clearly weren't. They weren't consistent even in the same room. For instance, some kitchen drawers were clean while others had loose dirt/debris in them. The floors weren't mopped well either, especially not for a move-in "deep clean" that we asked for before bringing in furniture. We had someone out to verify our complaints. They offered to have a team come back, but we declined because we couldn't trust that it would be done and were moving soon. We ended up doing the cleaning ourselves. We asked if a partial refund could be given because the "move-in" clean was fairly expensive. We were told a manager would follow-up. After not hearing back for a week or two, we tried contacting them again but never received a reply.

Everyone who has come to my home to work have been absolutely wonderful! They clean everything very well. They're also very nice, friendly, and I enjoy talking to them as they work. When my husband and my son come home, they always tell me that the house looks great and smells so good. I reccomend all the ladies who have come into my home. I trust them and never worry about anything.

I had booked this company just trying different cleaning companies out. I was not impressed.
They left crumpled pieces of paper (obviously trash) on top of a speaker, when they mopped, they just pushed my dogs hair around rather than sweeping or vacuuming the floor first, theres a ledge/half wall in the bathroom that was not wiped off.
They did not wipe down or dust any glass decor in the bathroom.
Not sure what kind of of mop was used, but the floor was DRENCHED in water.
Would not use again.

Merry Maids have taken excellent care of our home for eight years. The service is super; the staff gracious and accommodating; and their supervisors make sure they have photos of the client’s preferences, and review with their employees.

Absolutely AWFUL! Do not use this service. First, when they quoted me they told me they would clean my fridge and oven during the move out clean. Then, the maids came two hours ahead of the agreed upon time when I wasn’t home. They didn’t clean the fridge and oven and the cleaning job was absolutely awful. Not worth the $290 I paid them at all!! I made them come back and redo it. They wouldn’t clean the fridge and oven free of charge. They told me I had to pay $108 more if I wanted the service even though that service was what was originally agreed upon at the time of quote. When I told them this, they said they found this agreed upon service in my account notes and an employee had messed up. They still wouldn’t do the fridge and oven free of charge. Even though their employee messed up, they still wanted me to pay more. I wouldn’t let them charge me more due to the quality of cleaning before. Then they came back to redo the cleaning. They said they sent their quality control manager along with the cleaners. When I got home 30 minutes after their cleaning, the apartment still wasn’t clean. They left crumbs all over my counters, hair everywhere, and didn’t wipe down anything. The only cleaning I saw done was vacuuming. I had to spent two hours cleaning the entire apartment before it was ready for move out. I will never be using this service again and I definitely don’t feel it was worth the money I paid. Do not use this service. You will regret it.

The house was absolutely filthy, and these ladies came in and went straight to work nonstop creating an environment that was clean and fresh thank you so much

Poor cleaning. Damage. Stinky chemicals.
The first time they cleaned my house, many of the wooden surfaces and joints were dusty. This is also true for the refrigerator and stove handles. Additionally, I had requested special attention to the bathrooms asking to remove all soap scum and calcium build up. The shower walls still felt dirty and the chemical damaged the metal fixtures. When I arrived home after the cleaning, the house smelled awful from the chemicals the used, and it took 2-3 days to dissipate. They sent someone out to re-clean. The furniture was dusted better, but it was left with a heavy oily film. The shower walls were cleaner, but I can still feel the calcium build up. The refrigerator and stove door handles were not re-cleaned so I had to clean them. They were unable to remove the black marks on the bathroom fixtures from the harsh chemical used. I asked them what they were going to do about it, and they said they would try to remove the marks at future visits overtime. I just found a wooden wall hanging that was broken and the broken piece hidden under the dish drain. I do not trust this company to clean my house again.

Merry Maids did a bang-up job on our messy house! I hadn’t cleaned much in too long. I signed up for monthly. They were prompt, friendly, thorough, efficient, and the house feels so happy!

I have been using merry maids for several years and they are great. The ladies know what I need them to do and they always do a good job. Very sweet and friendly ladies.
