I have been lucky enough to have Redemption Pool Services work on my very old pool for the last 2 years. When we first moved into our home, we needed new pumps, rewiring and access set up to run the pool remotely from an app. Eric and Evan were with us every step of the way. My pool is now in beautiful working condition. Recently a pipe sprung a leak and all it took was a quick call and it was replaced within 48 hours. This company is highly dependable. They return calls. They show up. They are kind and extremely knowledgeable about their craft. My family is thankful for them.

Eric and his Redemption Pool Service team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable and did a top tier job on our pool this year. From the initial quoting to completion Eric was very straightforward and responsive, he took time to answer all of my questions about the process and line items on the quote quickly and thoroughly. He walked me through each step and estimated the time it would take to complete accurately. He’s in lock step with his team and it was clear they have a great partnership. His mason Cesar was very skilled in his craft and impressed me every step of the way; spending time with me at the end of each day to explain what they completed and answer any questions I may have had. They completed a full chip-out on my aging pool, which was incredibly labor intensive, and his guys were professional from start to finish. In addition to that they completely redid my coping stone around the pool resetting and regrouting each stone to ensure they’re level and free of any cracks where water could seep in. He even installed a French drain to help ensure water wouldn’t sit on the decking after rainstorms. Eric was great in assisting me choosing a pool tile and quartz plaster and provided experienced tips on what type and size type best works for my situation. Again his team did an impeccable job at removing and installing the new tile, I couldn’t be happier with it. At the end, they ensured to clean up any construction debris and pressure washed my deck leaving the pool and stone in perfect condition. I’m a very pleased customer, I can’t say enough about Eric and his team’s knowledge, skills and professionalism, they delivered on exactly what they said they’d do and then some. They’re a must to consider on your next pool project!

We use Alamo Handyman for our property management company's repairs. Jennifer is always pleasant to work with, and replies in a timely manner to all of our requests. Followup with our tenants has received good feedback from scheduling the work as well as the workers that show up.

Alamo's team is thorough from top to bottom. Jennifer in the home office is fantastic to work with and Ed is a true pro! The entire team does an excellent job supporting our facilities in the San Antonio and Killeen markets and we very much appreciate the collaboration. Would highly recommend their service.

Not sure what has happened at Alamo Handyman. Poor project management, full job never finished and mess left by crew. We paid the final invoice with confidence that Alamo would address the unfinished work and confirm job satisfaction. Sadly a company we have used several times is now off our list.

Bill(uncle Jessie from the dukes of hazard) has been a pleasure. Always polite, professional, prompt. He knows his stuff and takes pride in his work!! Alamo handyman has given me the faith that customer service isn’t dead. This is also a great company!

Unfortunately, my property manager, Home Locators did a poor job in selecting a professional company to reinstall our glass shower door. According to my statement it took 3 individuals, 3 hours to install a shower frame for a grand total of $380.00. Sadly, the work was done carelessly, the sealant was globed on and the caulk was a different color. I sent the company pictures of the work. I live out of state and was not able to supervise the job, needless to say it's been 3 months since the job was completed and I have not received a call back.

Great service and quality work. The Technicians at Alamo Handyman did an outstanding job of installing the window flower boxes on our home. They look great! Thanks for the making my wife very happy!

The man who arrived at the job Benny. Was the least knowledgeable handyman I've ever met. I feel like my 15 year old son could have done what he did. Including the mess left. The worst experience with a contractor ever. Next time I'm going to hire anybody off the street because it would be a better job than what was accomplished

Highly recommend! Bill arrived on-time, did an excellent job with my home repairs, and at a fair price. I will use them again for future home repairs and small projects.

Mr. Cortez installed our kitchen pot hanger quickly and in a professional manner. He touched up the paint and cleaned up when he was done. We are very happy with the result.

Had them install a handrail on my concrete stairs. They come on time and installed the rail. Very professional and courteous, would definitely use them again for any type of handyman projects. While here my sister-in-law had a question on her fencing and believe they gave her an estimate. Would definitely recommend they to family and friends.

Not a good experience. I use handyman service, when I believe the job is small and using an electrician or plumber would be to costly, my experience was the direct opposite. I was quoted well into the thousands of dollars by alamo handymen as the job was going to involve breaking into drywall. This just didn’t sound right so I called a plumber for a quote and he fixed the bath nozzle for less than $200. I just can’t recommend this business.

Alamo Handyman has done several projects for us. From window replacement to a walk in bath remodel. Excellent work. Done on time.

Ed and his helper with Alamo helped me out with several tasks around the house. They did a great job and were a joy to work with. I will be having Alamo back soon to stain my fence. They gave me an estimate on it during their first job and the price was really reasonable. Thanks, Alamo!

Alamo Handyman sent George, nice enough guy, out to repair/replace a recess light in the upstairs bathroom. He spent 2 hours and 2 trips to Home Depot repairing and replacing things to get the light to work, but it never did. $225.00 later, we have paid for his Hourly Rate with nothing fixed. He told us that he would tell the company about the situation, and come back WITH an Electrician to address the issue. We did not expect to be paying more money, but after speaking to Gena, she said the Electrician was on vacation and they would not be sending one, nor were they going to compensate or discount what we already paid. We would definitely NOT recommend this shady company! Very disappointed and out $225.00. See Alamo's reply to another Review:

"The reason we would send two different technicians is because we only used licensed electricians for electrical work, which is required and regulated by the state of Texas. If another handyman was not licensed and performed electrical work then they would not be in compliance with the states regulations."

Ummmm.... If this is true, why did you send George instead of a licensed Electrician out to fix a recess light???

The first person who came to my house to install a door handle for the front door, which was an exact replacement, was unable to figure out how to do it. It took him an hour and a half to eventually just give up and say that the piece itself was from a door that swung a different direction. I later tried this myself and was able to switch around a piece because it was a universal doorhandle and install the entire door handle in 45 minutes. After that I had still an issue with my door because the entire project was not just the door handle, so I’m more experienced person came out and he Put the weatherstripping on. He was nice no issues there but then he left without checking the deadlock so after I put the kids to bed, I went to lock the deadbolt and it no longer fit because the door was readjusted and he did not check to make sure that the deadbolt would still be aligned. So again at 9 PM , I took a look at how to do it and decided that for the principle of the saying I would call Alamo handyman and make them come back out to actually finish the job. It’s been incredibly disappointing the lack of experience on the first person, he also reeked of smoke in the second person who is nice, but clearly not detail oriented and left me with a door that had a new issue.
