they installed my A/c unit brand new at a great price i will definitely will call them again if i ever need them ... very nice people and very profesional they did some extra stuff and did not have to pay anything extra i am thankful that i found them ..thanks mr cool !!

I called Craigslist hvac guys, OfferUp, Facebook marketplace, HomeAdvsior, licensed big companies and small companies all over local listings and Google search results. I probably spoke to over 30 different companies all over town. Big or small. Licensed or not. None of them were in balance with professionalism and quality of service with affordable prices. Yea sure there are companies who have amazing reviews and amazing track record but they want $700 for the most simplest job.

My job was only removing brand new hvac system to move to another home. Not to install or move it. But just uninstall for my movers to move it. For just uninstall everyone was charging $300-700. I found a few guys but not experienced and seemed shady and they would do it for $200-250.

But Mr cool? Right on the spot. Perfect small business with absolute professionalism, immediate call back, years of experience, professional van and equipment, and and THEY DID IT FOR ONLY $220! And they did it UNDER 30 minutes. Everyone lied and bs me (even large or small companies) that it’s gonna cost $500 because it’s gonna take 2-3 hrs. Or the ones offering cheap prices didn’t show up or answer.

All I can tell is these guys went above and beyond. Don’t go anywhere else but to these guys. At the very least give them a chance to compare prices and service offerings. You’ll be amazed at their honesty and prices. I am 100% sure they will offer the exact quality of service in installation or repair jobs. Most people aren’t gonna have a need like my specific type of job. Most customers are gonna be wanting a new system installed or have their existing system repaired.

I am a very research oriented guy and I don’t go off of subjective opinions or perspectives. I go off of facts, track record, honest answer, reviews, and objective results. Go ahead and call any major company in town or call any small business off of reputable licensed places or online. Don’t matter where you look. These guys are gonna top everyone off in terms of quality of service and price. What else do you want and need as a customer? Best price and best service (or product! in this case it’s service). Those are the only two things you want from ANY business. Period.

Father and son ripped me off. Took my money. Did some work then they said they got a job in Houston to do and will come finish mine once they're done in Houston. Never came back. They even pulled permit and never closed the job. I had to hire another AC company.
Don't pay them anything in advance.

Highly Recommend! Mr. Cool Air recently installed a new AC and Heater for me. They were very professional and extremely helpful. They are reliable, reasonable, and there for you! These guys are the real deal! They did exactly what they said they were going to do, and we can’t be any happier!

We loved working with Johnny and John. They were referred to me by a friend who uses them for all his rental properties! He said they were the best and I totally concur! They were very prompt, arrived very early and replaced our complete HVAC in just a few hours. They had the city of San Antonio inspect so we could apply for a very nice rebate from the city. We highly recommend them.

Mr. Cool scheduled my appointment quickly and arrived on time. They gave me an honest diagnosis with several options for the remedy. There was never any pressure to go for the most expensive option. In fact, they didn't even want to give me the more expensive option because they didn't want me to think they were trying to "push" me toward it. I use this company for my rental properties, too, and they always have the best prices for me (I know because I get bids.) And their work has stood the test of time at my rentals and at my own home.

These guys were knowledgeable and straightforward. Theu came within 30 minutes of me calling job done within an hour total. Great company 100% recommend

Franco came after hours and in the dark to repair a broken pipe and restore our water. He was so polite and informative. Was so thankful when he showed up to help us with this repair.

Francisco was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also provided candid and honest feedback to all of the questions I asked him. I definitely recommend him for services !

Dustin was great during our initial estimate appointment! He was very thorough with explaining how Shafer could help me with installing new mini-splits.

Nathan was punctual, friendly, and very efficient. He quickly diagnosed the problem, then explained what caused it and how to avoid it in the future as he cleared it. Excellent service, we would welcome his help in the future.

In my opinion Diego is an asset to Shafer Services! He was methodical, personable & professional. We went through the plumbing check in each room together & Diego listened to my concerns/questions, addressing each one while continuing to work. My main concern was my water heater. It had been leaking & was rusted @ the bottom. Diego explained the workings of a water heater & what needed to be done to correct the problem. Needless to say yet I'm saying it...out with the old, out of warranty water heater & Diego will be back to install a new one with the all the bells & whistles that are now required...designed to prevent the leaking problem from happening. No pictures yet. Perhaps once the new heater is installed.

Diego was an amazing technician. I just signed up for the maintenance plan with the company as I prepare to get my home ready as a rental (I’m moving for work). Diego was professional and communicative the entire time, and overall a pleasant person to converse with. He stopped by the property to check the plumbing and flush the water heater. He took the time to not just simply do the job, but to also thoroughly explain what he’s doing and gave some of his recommendations, and also take the time to educate me as a homeowner.

I am not a licensed tradesman, but as a homeowner, I want to at least have a basic understanding. Diego definitely exceeded my expectations. I definitely enjoy it when I work with a professional who’s detailed & thorough.

Frank was timely. Listened attentively, inspected the problem area. Pointed to indirect indicators, utilizing his experience. He noted the weight bearing on an incoming joint. I was convinced. He Utilized his experience expeditiously.
He proceeded to generate my estimate. It was a fair estimate.

I will ask for Frank next service .I did not option for the service on this occasion.

Franc has always been a welcome sight when I am in need of plumbing services. He's knowledgeable, courteous, and an all-around good guy. Many organizations instruct their techs to "make a sale" at what should be a service maintenance call. Franc won't push to make a sale that isn't necessary and I respect him for that. It's a feature that I've come to expect and appreciate from Shafer Plus.

Johnny did a great job with our service inspection. He explained everything he was looking at, and explained the inspection results in a way that was easy to understand. Highly recommend Shafer Services!
