Oh gosh, they don't answer their phone or return the voice mail you leave them and after 9 days yesterday of my air conditioner still not being fixed you begin to see that this is not a reputable company! They came 9 or 10 days ago and did nothing because the line was frozen. Couldn't come back for 4 -5 more days. The tech that finally came out ,after the line defrosted and diagnosed the problem - they fired that tech.. Tech had diagnosed a leak in the coil and was to have reported to my warranty company right after my house call so it could be repaired. The full report was not submitted. Who cares if it is 102 here in San Antonio each day. I trusted that the owner /manager after firing the tech that serviced my air conditioner, would have the decency to complete the report and email it to the warranty Company so it can be fixed. As of yesterday this was never completed . And they had the nerve to talk with the warranty Co. and say that I still had my AC going and the whole system would probably break ! Centsable obviously doesn't care! Well after 10 days of the problem with the AC line and 102 degree weather , my trust in your company went down hill the first day the first tech came out and did nothing and said he couldn't come back for another 4-5 days. I asked to speak to the manager/owner yesterday again to ask them to complete the report and the girl who answers the phone said flat out 'no'. Waiting 8-10 days for a resolution and cool air isn't exceptionable. I rate them NO STARS. but wait, you have to give them at least one or the review won't be published.! My mistake.

June 20, 2015 This contractor was assigned to us by American Home Shield Home Warranty. Their office called promptly and scheduled an appointment for the next day. About 40 minutes ahead of our scheduled appointment time, their technician Chris called to say he was on his way and he arrived when he said he would. He quickly assessed the problem with our heating and air conditioning unit, ruling out options until he discovered the cause of our problem. Once identified, he fixed the system quickly and was on his way. He was able to fix our problem for the cost of the service call. .Chris was knowledgeable, polite and very personable.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! This is the WORST company to deal with, and they have a bunch of thieves working for them. We made the mistake of paying the service fee in cash and the technician pocketed the money. He had some electronic device that he was using to input our information and assured us that he would email us the receipt for proof of payment. He also said that it would take about 30 mins for the processing of the payment through the company in order for us to receive the email. It never came. Now we're getting statements from the home warranty company, First American Home Warranty, demanding the fee for the service call. If your home warranty company sends them out you should reject them and request another company to service your heating and cooling system. This company is a crock and full of crooks. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

We had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with this company because our Home Warranty company used them to do a simple air conditioning tune-up.

When they came to our house, they told us they wouldn't do any work until we paid them the fee. We didn't think much of it and paid them in cash then. The guy did a good job and what's ironic is that we were happy customers and tried to contact that person again to do additional jobs and re-wire our thermostat system (they never returned our call).

The real problem came later when our Home Warranty company came to us for this fee, and we needed to contact Centsable to get proof of payment of their visit.

Over two weeks, we tried and tried again to get in touch with them. Not only did they not call us back when they insisted on six separate occasions they would return our calls, they insisted we never paid them (causing us to pay this fee again to our Home Warranty company).

I would certainly not use this company again and am extremely disappointed by their lack of communication.

Very professional great work, courteous, on time, clean, professional. Highly recommend. Alex was so attentive and made sure my needs were met. It was winter blast and no heat, everyone else wanted $150 service fee just to look at it and it would be days. Alex made it over the same day and serviced my needs thoroughly and completely.

Toned Homes did work on my mom's house from the 70s and it looks like the house has been rebuilt! They have done great work from counter tops to back splashes, flooring and A/C! They are very interactive and the owner called my mom to make sure she was happy with the process! Great job Toned Homes! *highly recommended*

As an Out of State investor it is hard to find skilled tradesmen who are reliable, responsible, and honest. Antonio Gonzalez of Toned Homes is all of the above. I bought a home that had foundation work performed on it, and all I knew was the HVAC was not running. My GC actually recommended Toned Homes because his HVAC guy was swamped. Am I glad he did. I called their number and got in touch with Antonio, or “Tone” for short. He is a genuine nice guy, and was willing to answer every question I had. I’ve called, texted, and emailed him/his company, and every time someone had always gotten back to me within a reasonable time. They showed up on time when they said they would, performed the work, told me about some copper lines that were leaking, and Tone gave me a quote to take care of it. When his crew came back to perform the work, they needed to use more material than anticipated. When Tone was explaining it to me I was thinking, “here comes the up-sell” but to my pleasant surprise Tone said he is keeping the price the same! Just that alone makes me want to only deal with him for all my HVAC needs. Tone mentioned that he also does general renovation work, and his project pictures look pretty good on his website. I can only speak to his HVAC work at this time, but in due time, who knows. If you want a highly skilled, honest, friendly, reliable HVAC technician Tone of Toned Homes is your guy! Toned Homes did paint and carpet for me plus found some things that needed fixed that i had not noticed. They were fast, efficient, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves very well! Would certainly use them again. Avery

When our old AC unit started sounding rough in 2013, we got word that it needed to be replaced from one of the large AC/Heating companies in the area. We put out an email to 6 local companies with a request for quotes for a system replacement. Toned Homes was not only the first to respond to our email but also the only company that asked to inspect the system first to see if a replacement was necessary. As we were not financially prepared for a system replacement, we were thrilled to hear the system could be repaired for the time being. Not only that, they tried to repair the coil that was causing the issues. When the repair didn't take, Toned put the cost of the repair towards the replacement coil. The coil used in the replacement was also rated for the newer refrigerant we would need when we did end up replacing the system.

Juan just left after replacing the condenser unit. The ducts and plenum looked good(serviced by Toned in 2014 of course) so no need to re-do the whole system. In and out in 2 hours, my family will now not have to go through the fire drill of having no AC for a few days after a dead unit ruined a summer day.

Toned's crew is friendly and professional. I have spoken with about eight or more of their employees over the past 2 years and all have been knowledgeable and interested in not only the best solution but most cost effective solution to our heating and AC issues. Having dealt with junk sub-contractors and independent contractors in San Antonio over the 6+ years we have lived here, Toned blows them all away. Thank you and keep up the great work!

The best a/c service I've had. The owner and his staff we're extremely accommodating, knowledgeable , pleasant, professional, punctual, reliable, and responsive. Their customer service is top notch. Of note, they responded to my inquiry on Angies list with in minutes, scheduled my appointment with in 2 days on a Saturday at that and was able to reschedule and fit me in on a Sunday instead. The owner is extremely experienced and adept at what he does. His ability to explain and articulate his knowledge of A/C to the customer in a way they could understand was a manifestation of this. They were also very reasonably priced. Furthermore the quality of their work was outstanding.

It is almost unheard of to provide the level of service that Tone has. I've had two occasions to use his services for AC repair. Of course they both occurred at the most inopportune time, during the hottest part of the day of a very hot summer. Tone got our system up and running temporarily within a couple of hours of the service call. He then came back and fixed it permanently.

On the second occasion he talked my tenants through a problem solving process where he was able to diagnose and mitigate the AC issue over the phone immediately.

I will be using Tone in future for any related services!

First time I contracted Toned Homes was probably at least 5 years ago, to replace the A/C unit in my home. This experience has turned me into a loyal customer! Tony has done several jobs from countertops in the kitchen to bathroom renovations. He is very professional, courteous, takes his time to listen to your desires, and strives to surpass your expectations! We had the a/c system replaced after 21 years to a 14 seer heat pump. Job was completed in 3 hours. System works perfect.

Toned homes completed our garage conversion project and I could not be more impressed. They were great to work with, very reasonably priced, and the project turned out better than I could have imagined. So thankful to have found a trustworthy and reputable company for my contracting needs. Will definitely use them in the future.

The people at Toned Homes LLC (Air Conditioning & Remodeling ) are very good. They did very good work. Their tile people were excellent, and the drywall and showers turned out great! Their supervisor also kept us up to date on what was going on. After we had called another company for a quote on a glass door, the manager at Tone Homes was able to talk to them and get a lower price for us. They were also very accommodating with any changes in our plan, and were upfront about everything. I couldn't have asked for better work. This was our first time using Toned Homes and I would absolutely use them again.
