They went out for a quote on one of our properties and they got paid 147.00 and then they did not want to do the work they quoted for . Don't waste your time there are better plumbers out there you can rely on. I tried multiple times to reach them via email to no response. Shows the maturity of this company and they have a lot to learn if they plan on staying in business.

Responded the same day I called to repair pipes and restore water service at my elderly parents’ home. It turned out several pipes were broken but they found all of them and repaired them. Highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

I think the company is amazing, they charge extremely fair I price checked with other companies and they by far are more reliable than the 4 places I asked.

I paid to have a leak in my water heater fixed and was up sold an overflow tank as well. Not sure if I really needed it as it was working fine without the overflow tank, of course until it started leaking. Needless to say it is still leaking and I will be charged again if they come out even though that is what I paid to have fixed in the first place. I contacted them about a month ago and Bobby said that he would try to stop by but never did.

UPDATE: After posting this review Bobby called me while I was at work demanding that I change this review to a positive review. He was argumentative and yelling at me so much so that I had to end the call. Then he text me to send him a copy of the invoice because they can't find it and typed "THANKS" in all caps which indicates yelling... He said that he wants to make this right, but after this call I am afraid of being yelled at further or to have him back out to my home because I feel that I will not be treated fairly.

Two men came to my house to assess if there were any leaks in the plumbing tied to foundation repair work I was having done. I have had very consistent water bills, good water pressure, no clogs, and don’t have any visible signs of a leak in the yard or in the house. I take care of my yard and house and there is nothing to tell me a leak exists inside or outside the house.

After about 30 minutes in the house doing a pressure test in bathroom, the older of the two men told me I had a water leak. I said that was unlikely based on what I knew. He mentioned there was work done on the plumbing under the house previously. I told him that was from 18 years ago and it was done by a previous owner. I also said that no other problems had been observed. Again, I have observed nothing to tell me there was a leak.

When they were doing the test the two were talking on a radio and the younger of the two yelled out a couple of times that the seal wasn’t holding and told the older guy to start over. This made me very concerned they hadn’t done the test correctly. I also was never shown or given anything to document a test had been completed or that the test found a leak.

As I stood there a bit confused and about to ask questions, the older man jumped straight into the sale, telling me it will cost $900 for us to find the leak and more to fix it. This surprised me because he hadn’t shown me any test to demonstrate there was an actual leak, I heard the two arguing about if the seal they used to test for a leak was holding several times, and the man had only referenced work done by the previous owner almost two decades ago.

After that, he said they had done a test and it was leaking.

I felt like I was being grifted. I asked them to leave my home.
I have nothing to document there was a test done. I have nothing to show there could be a leak.

I called the foundation repair service to complain about the plumber they sent and an employee told me they only paid for the visit and the plumber was free to upsell me.

I also texted Rushmore plumbing to complain. They never responded.

I called another plumbing service and filed a claim with my insurance so I can determine if there is an actual leak and have it repaired if there is.

Rushmore Plumbing didn’t respond to the compliant. They also gave me nothing to prove they even did a test. Finally, they tried to sell me on paying them $900 to find a leak they never proved existed. I don’t trust this company based on this experience.

I’m so happy I chose Rushmore Plumbing. We had a major drainage issue late one night, unable to utilize any of our sinks, toilets, or showers. We were very worried not knowing the extent of the problem, being we had a new baby soon on the way. Mr. Bobby came over first thing in the morning, found the problem quickly, advised us on our options, and started digging/correcting the issues in below freezing weather. He worked very quickly, was extremely kind, knowledgeable and helped us understand the problem and provided that peace of mind that he was on top of it, and will get it taken care of as quickly as possible. Mr. Bobby, his wife, and his team were a blessing in our time of need and would just like to say, “Thank You So Much!”

Had second leak in hot water pet they came out on a Saturday had it fixed before 9am.
Service is too notch and price is always right.
We won't use anyone else period. Thanks again. Update we had another leak in another part of our home today. They were fast to respond to fix the leak. They are an awesome company!!! 9/13/2018. Still a very high 5 star rating😄😄

Having never gone through the daunting experience of trying to find a professional plumber myself, I started out doing a search of plumbers in my area, expecting to just pick one whose reviews weren't awful, and hope for the best. After 3 weeks of waiting for one plumber, who had given me a very reasonable quote, but never returned any of my calls after that, I started again. As I read through the Google listings, I saw that Rushmore seemed to have consistently positive reviews, and on more than one site. After speaking with Kathy, she was able to get someone out the next morning, for what was turning out to be, an emergency. They were out for hours, finding one thing after another that was broken, or breaking, or that their guys accidently broke (VERY old house, with lots of "rigging"), they left, job complete. Next day comes, and the new toilet they installed isn't flushing. Kathy, again, was incredibly willing to work with us, even surprising us with someone coming out that day (we thought we were going to have to wait till Monday). They were very reasonable when it came to working through the broken toilet with us.Would use Rushmore again, without a second thought. I actually have them programmed into my phone.

I don't recall how we were initially referred to Rushmore Plumbing, but I'm so glad we were. As previous owners of a San Antonio home built in 1928 we (unfortunately) had several plumbing repair needs over the years in that house. The Rushmore team was always timely in responding to our calls, polite & fairly priced. Kathy, who answers the phones for them, knows me by name and is always very kind & accommodating. I really couldn't have anything better to say about this company. Recently we moved out-of-state but had a need arise with my mother-in-law's home in San Antonio & again, the Rushmore Team was quick to respond and went above-and-beyond to help us out in what could have been a real headache of a situation. They are the best!!!

Excellent service had a leak in our hot water line PEX pipe. They quickly arrived, Art and his helper quickly fixed the problem. We live outside 1604 and have been over charged in the past for it, Rushmore did not have any problem with our location. I will use them again for any future issue.

Kathy Rushmore is an amazing person and tries her best to get help to your home as quickly as possible. The men showed up on tme and were fast and very thorough in making the drain to open. Everyone was so nice, I would recommend them to anyone that needed plumbing service. Thank you so much Rushmore Plumbing.

This is hands down, the BEST plumber service in San Antonio! Kathy and the plumbers are great to speak to, always on time, and very knowledgeable! Their prices are unbeatable! As a Realtor, this is my go-to company for all my plumbing needs!

My entire house was backing up on Christmas Eve! I called my home warranty company and they couldn't get anyone out for 3 days! I started to call other plumbers in my area and no one was picking up the phone. I found Rushmore Plumbing on Google and called them. Kathy answered the phone immediately and had a plumber out to my house with in an hour! The gentlemen that came out was so professional, courteous, and even took the time to call my home warranty company and explain to them what he found so I could get reimbursed for the bill. This company was my own personal Christmas Miracle! I would recommend this company to EVERYONE!!! Thank you for being so amazing and my go to plumbing company for life if I ever need your services again!!

They did more than repair. I had 2 other companies come out due to a slow flushing then stopped up toilet. They both wanted to tunnel under my floors to make the repair. I called Rushmore pressured from a satisfied girl from work. Boy am I glad I did!!! The found a hole just inside the toilet hole pulled out the biggest roots. Repaired it and done! No tearing anything up. It’s never irked better and the price charged was more than fair! I bought the boys lunch! Lol. Strongly recommend. Old school company able to think outside the box and great customer service!

Wow! I called because I had a pretty foul smell in the master bathroom. Vick and Jake were on my doorstep in no time and were amazing. So nice, courteous and quick. I am so grateful. Thank you!

Kathy and the team at Rushmore Plumbing are true professionals! I called after hours and got a response right away. Kathy was very helpful and promised to get a technician out first thing the next morning (it wasn’t an emergency). The technician showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. He was very thorough and clean. I would highly recommend Rushmore Plumbing!

I've used Rushmore twice now and both times they provided excellent service and pricing. They were referred by several colleagues at work. I first needed them to completely re-plumb my bathroom, which included major trench-work under my house. I gathered quotes from 8 other plumbers and they were the best combination of price, quality and thoroughness. One aspect I liked a lot was that they were sticklers to abiding by city codes and pro-actively obtaining permits and copies for my files. That will come in handy when it comes time for me to sale. They always arrived on time, were consistently friendly and informative and basically performed work at the highest level of professionalism. I used them again recently to replace a hot-water heater. Again, they provided quality work at a fair price. I highly recommendation Rushmore Plumbing.

Mowing the yard on a Saturday morning, noticed a water leak from under the house. Called Rushmore Plumbing and they were onsite within two hours and had the issue fixed in about an hour. Very Professional & Courteous. The entire interaction with Rushmore Plumbing was very nice. Will not hesitate to call again should the need arise.

Update 3/3/21 -- Called about adding a water line and septic to a remodel out building. They came out, gave me my estimate, we accepted, work was done professional and on time. very pleased.

Water heater started leaking. Called Rushmore and they came out assessed the issue. got a quote and they were there the next day to replace. on time and responsible. :)

Jake is the BEST! He came out late on a Sunday evening for a blockage in my lines and stayed until 2:45am until the job was done. He kept me informed throughout the whole process. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend.
