We called Gill Plumbing to have our water heater and water softener serviced. The units were almost 7 yo and had never been serviced. The two young men that came were knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to explain why and wha parts needed to be replaced. They did not attempt to oversell items that were not needed. They were polite, respectful and a pleasure to have at our home. By far the best experience I’ve had with a plumber. We reached out to inquire about getting an estimate for installing a pressure reducer valve. Within 3 days, Mr. Gill was at our property looking everything over and providing us with a comprehensive estimate that was fairly priced compared with a couple other estimates we received from other companies. We scheduled the installation within a couple days. They arrived on time, completed the installation, made sure our entire system was fit to work with the new valve. Then they educated us on how to take care of our new set up ourselves.

We needed our water heater replaced, and Gill Plumbing Services went above and beyond! John and Nick were fantastic – they both are very knowledgeable, professional and kind. Small company, with great service. Called John(owner)when a toilet stopped working. He was able to fit me in to his schedule later that afternoon. He explained the problem, what he had to do, and gave me a quote. Had it fixed and working great in under 30 minutes. Very professional. I called yesterday, they were out today. On the call, Mr. Gill took over half an hour trouble shooting with me and explaining things to me. Then today, Nick came out and took the time, thoughtfully approached the issue, and stayed until the job was done. Reasonable prices, excellent customer service, great communication, I don’t think there is another option for plumbing, these guys are my top pick. I will definitely use them again and again!

Always honest and professional. They've been our plumber since moving to San Antonio in 2015. Just installed our water softener and walked us through maintaining the system. He has serviced our water heaters, replaced one, and fixed a busted water line leading to the main line. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Both Nick and his assistant, Gabriel, were very courteous and knowledgeable. They were prompt, arriving at the appointed time. Nick assessed the problem quickly and fixed it. When they completed the original issue, he listened to my concerns of other issues in my home, and ended up fixing a shower fixture that had been installed incorrectly. Gill Plumbing Services is now my go to company for all things plumbing.

As always John did a very professional job! I was able to do one stop shopping . He had the water heater and all the parts needed to do the job up to code. John is always very punctual, he cleaned everything after complete the job. He explained how to use the new water heater and set expectations for future maintenance in order to keep the unit running for many years to come. He also replaced the pressure valve and added a lever to close the water in that way I will get a rebate from SAWS. John’s prices are adequate for the kind of product he delivers. If you want a cheap job and cheap workmanship look somewhere else.

We had a nasty leak right next to the water meter, and by the time SAWS came out and declared that it was our problem to fix, we were wasting thousands of gallons of water a day. I called Gill Plumbing based on a recommendation from a friend, and John promised to come out as soon as he could. He came the same day, even though it was after “normal” business hours, and quickly made the repair. Not only that, he made improvements that will help us avoid this issue in the future. I will definitely call him again the next time I need a plumber!

I contacted Gil’s Plumbing for a leak outside of my home, I spoke to owner and stated they could be out to help me in about an hour. They actually showed up in less than an hour. Nick and Paul were very friendly, Nick explained everything that he would be doing to fix the issue. They had the issue fixed within 2 hours. They are VERY reasonable! Gill and his team did a great job fixing my lead connection to the PVC pipe underneath the toilet. It was causing a slow leak that was staining my tiles around the toilet. Gill and his team were able to drill through the concrete underneath the toilet and get it fixed in a day… great job!

Phenomenal company. Everything is explained ahead of time and in terms I could understand what was going on with the repairs. Professional high quality products for replacements as well as repairs. We first hired Gill Plumbing to replace a leaky gas valve in our fireplace. They did such a clean, professional job that we knew we could trust them with future work. So when we needed our pressure-reducing valve replaced, we called them again without hesitation.
