Water Damage Restoration reviews in San Antonio, Texas

Nick & Diego clearly explained the process and addressed the many concerns we had with our plumbing issue. We truly appreciate their diligence in helping us resolve our issues being that we urgently need our restrooms back in service.

Josh, Roderick, and Joseph came over two days to do moisture detection. They found an area under the tile that was reading high, and helped dehumidify it to bring the moisture down. They were honest, polite, and kind. They did not charge for problems that might not be there. I really appreciated their honesty.

This was a hard situation and Puroclean helped us out! We had to deal with water damage and mold removal. The mitigation team came by and cleaned our home successfully. The team was kind and respectful and explained every step of the process as we dealt with this situation. We greatly appreciated their professionalism and their respectfulness!

After a few discrepancies between my insurance and Puro Clean my issue was resolved. Thank you to Ivan and Fernando who took the time to come over and assess damages and explained the estimate to me, the issue was resolved. Now I will be paid out correctly for the water damage I had in my home. I appreciate them taking their
time on a Saturday morning to assist with this. I'm grateful... Communication is key! Blessings

I'll let the pictures do the talking. I fully expect this review to be taken down, because there is no way this company has perfect 5 star ratings. They shouldn't be able to call themselves general contractors. Short story - I kicked them off my property because they were doing more damage than repair (their "carpenters" would scratch and ding our furniture and cabinets, tile workers didn't cover HVAC registers so all the duct work had to be cleaned, they dropped paint in many places on our new wood floors, they cut condensate drip lines and then just let it pool on our floor, they had to do the tile twice because they didn't use tile spacers the first time around, they moved all our belongings in before they finished and everything got covered in construction dust, we had a total of 4 separate supervisors because each one kept quitting, and oversight was almost non-existent). Again, just take a look at the photos.

The response below from the owner is nothing I haven't heard a dozen times during the process. Even if they are sincere about wanting to resolve the issues, they have in no way demonstrated that they are capable. I do not think the company is malicious, I just think they are entirely unqualified (or they have a subcontractor base that is completely inept). Perhaps my project was a one-off, but the level of ineptitude was so high and carried on for so long, that I cannot be convinced that this was just an unfortunate set of events. You don't have to believe my words, you can just look at the photos and decide for yourself (they are but a small sample of the library of photos I have available).

When our home suffered from water damage, the team at Puro Clean took care of our family: from drying the walls/ceiling/floors, removing the damage, packing up our home professionally and making all the repairs - they did a great job. Everyone kept us updated and we were able to see the amazing work while it was being done. Especially the transformation of the 1970s master bathroom was incredible. Totally love the outcome of our home. Highly recommended!

My house was almost destroyed by lightening! PuroClean was right here and the owner himself took lots of pictures. Long story shortened, they have fought for me with the insurance company and did a beautiful job of replacing and repairing things that need to be done! Fernando Danny and Vanessa are so wonderful to work with and aim to please no matter what. They are highly professional and efficient. I would strongly recommend them to anyone that needs help like I did.

Ivan and his team of experts were conscious of getting our house cleaned up, rebuilt after a devastating fire. There was never a time when he and the crew were not working to get the job done. PuroClean did an amazing job drying my floors after a flood in my kitchen. Joseph Fonseca was the technician on the project and came out to assess the damage and immediately started mitigating the damage even though it was after 7pm. He was professional, diligent, and respectful. I really appreciate the hard work from PuroClean and Joseph!

There won’t ever be enough positive words to describe how amazing PuroClean is. After the first phone call with Jasmine, the receptionist, I knew this company was a good one- outstanding customer service! Jasmine quickly connected me with Crystal to get a project estimate completed. Once I received the very detailed estimate from the estimating team (Jimena and a few others, I believe?), Crystal answered any questions I had and was able to get a few things adjusted and added to the estimate in a matter of minutes- Including honoring a military discount! We were working on a very tight timeframe and PuroClean was able to get our project on the schedule quickly and cleanup began the following workweek. Cleanup is where Vanessa and her team came in. Keep in mind, this was an intense clutter cleanup (hoarding situation, if you will) for my 88 year old grandmother who has suffered grief and illness over the last 20+ years. This was not a project for just anyone. I prayed for God to send me the right people for the job and I know, without a doubt, Vanessa and her team are proof that He answers prayers. On day one of cleanup, I was amazed at how fast the process was moving and it continued that way for the duration of the project. Vanessa made sure she understood what we wanted to do with specific belongings and relayed the detailed instructions for each room to the team- they took direction like champs and got to work. Vanessa would review with me at the start/end of everyday and let me know what would be completed that day and the following. I can’t explain how intensely she and the cleaning team worked and ALWAYS with smiles (everyone was so kind, gentle and focused). From across the home, they would come find me to hand me important keepsakes—anything ranging from large antique items and photo albums to a single tiny diamond stud earring. During the process, PuroClean was able to provide specific trade technicians as needed and even brought a team in to perform another estimate for structural repairs and interior painting. After packing and cleaning was complete, we opted for the Ozone Treatment to address any remaining odors in the home and that thing WORKS! Like I said, there will never be enough great things to say about this company, but what I can say is that my Grandmother’s home is now clean and clutter free. It’s solely because of PuroClean that she can now ENJOY her remaining years in her beautiful home! None of this would have been possible without this company. I hope I didn’t forget to mention anyone who helped with this- just know this company as a whole provides OUTSTANDING service. Apparently the most stars I can give is 5, but they deserve 100.

Sept. 2025- 2nd edit to original post- after posting about my bad experience a new project manager named Fernando reached out to me. His communication was transparent, consistent, and empathetic. Fernando worked with our timeline to come back and take care of everything that was left undone or done really poorly. I am happy to report that everything looks FANTASTIC!! Despite the serious bump in the road, I’d still give my business to PuroClean in the future as the overall experience was good one!

Edit to original post- the experience with the mitigation team was fantastic, but the experience with the team who did the renovation work was horrible. Our house is “finished” but at what cost? The huge hole that had to be patched in our ceiling is obvious, you can see where the cuts in the original dry wall are, and where the new texture starts. When we go to sell our house, we are going to have repay for this to be fixed. There was paint and splatter left EVERYWHERE, while some things were left with splotchy paint jobs. They “repainted” parts of our ceiling and walls in unimpacted places, using shell paint over our matte paint. Because they didn’t paint the whole wall, you can see literal patches of matte paint randomly in multiple rooms. Looks like a slumlord job.

On the outside of our home they didn’t paint anything from when they redid the roof, leaving white trim when the rest of our home has dark gray trim. They also left shingles and nails EVERYWHERE in our backyard and we have dogs and 2 toddlers. I reached out to our project manager about being unhappy with the job and sent him multiple pictures and never heard back when I asked about a time for him to come back out. I’m attaching a few photos of some of the jacked up job that was left behind. I would NOT recommend this company for a remodel or to fix “damage”. Makes me angry every single day that I have to look at it.

PuroClean was dispatched by our insurance company after we experienced roof and interior water damage. Adrian, Tommy and Marshal were all very kind and professional. They worked quickly and answered all of the questions that we had. They went out of their way to provide exceptional service which is much appreciated when dealing with such a stressful event. I recently hired the for a floor repair, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They did an absolute excellent job sourcing wood floor laminates and took the time to provide me with several great options to choose from. The entire project was completed exactly on the agreed timeline, and any additional work that came up was handled superbly. A special shoutout to the supervisor, Ray, who went above and beyond by advising us to change and upgrade some of our plumbing to prevent this kind of damage from happening again in the future. The flooring itself was very well done and looks fantastic. Highly recommend their services!

We had a skunk sprayed by our AC unit. I am glad SERVPRO offered the services for Odor removal. We highly recommend this service to get that fresh smell at home.
