The team at ServPro of North Central San Antonio receive a well deserved 5-stars (from the owner Jared, to his professionally experienced crew…Michael, Angel, Freddy and Mark). A large-loss fire and water damage claim sustained at my home was what led me to search for a qualified SATX firm that had a solid reputation for dealing with such significant types of damage(s). This ServPro firm used three vans full of the industrial grade restoration equipment that was necessary for the very large job. Angel & Freddy were very experienced and professionally trained regarding the use of all of it.

I worked hands on with most of the ServPro crew for almost just over three weeks straight in the beginning. They were always on schedule and kept me well informed regarding any important aspects of the day to day plan(s), along with having answers to the many questions I posed throughout the process. The entire crew were always super helpful on various levels, whether related to the array of equipment being used, to the treatment & drying process along with timelines, to the listing and inventory of salvageable and unsalvageable contents, to the cleaning and storing of contents. This ServPro firm also packed, moved, treated, cleaned, and stored a large amount of my contents from the property for several months. The owner and three crew members were always easy to contact and very good about returning texts and/or phone calls.

I had a pipe break and flood 2 huge rooms at my mom’shouse in Louisiana. The San Antonio group was in the area helping with the freeze/flooding and could not have been kinder and more helpful. I highly recommend them and their work.

My first impression of this company was positive when a real live person answered the phone and I did not have to navigate menus, robots and wait time. I called after 8:00 A.M. and the technician was here by 10:00. He was courteous and efficient and solved my problem immediately. Before he left he gave me some valuable advice on having some valves replaced in order to avoid future problems. I will definitely use this company for any future water problems that I might encounter.

First they didn’t complete the demo. Then I waited weeks waiting for Brayden to come see the house so I could get an estimate. He finally showed up. Then I waited weeks for him to actually deliver the estimate. More weeks go by and I eventually get a call from Brayden. He then tells me that he is too busy and won’t be getting me an estimate. So here I am nearly 2 months after my house is flooded and I get nothing. Because servepro didn’t do the clean up and demo correctly it has caused me all kinds of problems with my insurance company because of what servepro told them. Meanwhile the restoration company that is worth a damn is having to fight and fight and fight for me. Servepro is wildly overpriced and not an expert in their line of work. Going on 5 months now of my house been emptied and down to studs. Thanks Serve Pro! You guys are awesome. I truly appreciate the terrible communication. The lack of attention to detail. And causing me what feels like endless problems. Good job!

The men who helped my dad and I were great, always kind and patient with the whole process. They went above and beyond by even helping me move furniture into my new apartment. I would highly recommend this team for any emergency situations in the future!

I experienced a horrific water supply line leak in the upstairs master bath. An experience I wouldn’t wish even on an enemy! HOWEVER...Jared and his crew were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Serv-Pro of North Central San Antonio. I had water damage from a leak in my home. From mitigation to packing and storing my household goods to repairing the walls, replacing baseboards, painting etc. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and customer service. Special kudos and thanks to Fredy Garcia and star employee Garrett and team who handled mitigation and pack out, storage and return of my household goods and also to Brayden Terry who oversaw and coordinated the reconstruction portion of my insurance claim. Aiden, Ruben, and Miah were wonderful. They took care with everything they packed and unpacked. Each of them were very likeable, personable and I enjoyed having them in my house. I will use Servpro again should the need arise. And I will definitely request they send Aiden, Ruben, and Miah.

I found the folks at SERVPRO professional, helpful, and responsive from the first phone call I made to them. Amber quickly got in touch with her team and got back to me within minutes and scheduled a visit to my home. Fredy was very knowledgeable and showed up on time and gave me the rundown on what was needed to clean up my mess - significant black mildew looking stuff from a leaking second floor shower. Garret followed up as scheduled, again on time, very knowledgeable and professional. The Servpro of North Central San Antonio came to my home after a flood affected my master bedroom flooring. They were courteous, efficient and professional as they walked me through the process and estimated the job. Their systems are amazing to measure and estimate the job. These guys communicated well and quickly went to work. Each day they would check in to review the progress and worked with my schedule to accommodate it. After the room was dried, they picked up the equipment and cleaned up. This team made an unfortunate flood experience so much better. I highly recommend their services.

I am an appraiser with experience in mold damage and water remediation. I knew what needed to be done before the crew came out. Gavin and Josiah came in and executed a plan that was exactly what I expected to prevent mold damage in our flooded house. I highly recommend these guys.

My family and I are beyond grateful for Jacob Zertuche and his team with Servpro. When a natural disaster strikes and your whole world changes in an instant having someone on your side, who is responsive at any time of the day, trustworthy and goes above and beyond is imperative. This team is all of that and more, I don’t know what we would have done without them. Servpro came out the same day we called for a quote and went out of their way to come out again when our adjuster was here from the insurance to try to make everything go as smoothly and efficiently as possible. They were extremely thorough and did an excellent job with the water remediation and demo. Jacob is highly experienced with natural disaster remediation and how to prevent further damage from occurring and how the paperwork/insurance works. He went above and beyond when we had difficulty with our adjuster with coverages and made sure we were taken care of. He has a heart of gold and more knowledge and wisdom/expertise with natural disaster damage than anyone I have ever met. When everything is in shambles and a mess around you, Jacob and his team are who you want.

Wow! We had a jet in our tub that was leaking. We looked behind the wall to find there was water damage and mold. We called the office and Amber answered. She was knowledgeable, listened and put us at ease. She sent Fabian and Aidan out first thing the following morning. They were courteous and professional. They explained(and showed us) everything they found and we had a lot of questions for all three of them and they took the time to explain, make sure we understood what was happening (and had the potential of happening). All three of them were available every step of the way. They turn to scary situation into a situation. we were comfortable with and understood. We couldn’t be more pleased with results!

1st crew arrived, simply looked at water spot in ceiling, stated there's "major" water damage thru the walls. Set up multiple fans & humidifiers. NO moisture measurements were taken with ANY device. The blonde heavy set gentleman stated that they would return to remove the cabinets & counters to "ensure it's done right and everything is dry". The following day, .."everything looks dry...but I still remove part of the wall to make sure we get everything". At this specific moment, I knew something was NOT right....I refused. Since everything was ALL DRY, as he had confirmed with his electronic device that he ran across the walls/ceiling/under the cabinets & behind the cabinet walls---I asked if he would take his equipment. He declined....My gut feeling---leave it another day, charge insurance company more money (for something that was NOT needed---sounds fraudulent to me)

So, the plumber shows up two days later...and REMOVES a piece of the ceiling sheet rock (that YOUR crew never did)....and there's NO leak, NO moisture, NO wet insulation, NO wet rear wall, NO busted/broken pipe, NO leak from any water source watsoever! They spent over an hour running the sinks/toilets/showers on the 2nd floor; checked the AC unit in the roof attic...NO water leak, NO water leak evidence, NO AC unit leaks, NO water heater leaks....absolutely NO water or moisture found by the plumbing crew. Only "plausible" reason, some moisture most of developed & frozen around pipe and melted....That is it.!

The plumber charged $452 for the removal of the sheet rock, and complete examination of the home for any water leak/moisture. NO REPAIRS WERE DONE BECAUSE NONE WERE NEEDED.

Due to the INAPPROPRIATE actions of your 1st crew, I now have holes at the base of my cabinets that were NEVER needed from the start and will require unnecessary expenses.

I contacted my insurance to inform them of the plumber's findings & my own hard suspicions that SERVPRO was simply trying to fraudulently run up the charges for something that was NOT necessary. That it all felt like a BIG SCAM, and I had been taken advantage of....informing insurance NOT to pay because it would be fraudulent to pay for services that were not necessary. Plus, no insurance claim would be filed as this would be fraudulent too!

I sent them the images that I took to confirm that SERVPRO crews were simply trying to abuse & milk the insurance policy/system. They're below for your reference---pay particular attention to the SMALL water spot on the counter that according to the SERVPRO TRAINED CREW, required him drilling holes on the cabinet floor moldings.

I believe that as a service provider, you have a responsibility to ensure that your customers receive the best possible service. It is clear to me that this was not the case in my situation.

Had the SERVPRO TRAINED CREW stood on a ladder/counter, and removed the drywall (vs. stating "we don't remove drywall"), he would have noticed NO water leak/ruptured pipe. Therefore, NO need whatsoever for any FURTHER SERVICES SINCE THE ONLY WET SPOT WAS THAT SMALL CEILING DRYWALL AREA, which he would've removed. Instead, he chose to fabricate findings to fraudulently try to increase the cost of the repair/billing of the insurance company--$2200....

Same for your 2nd crew, who refused to take the equipment even after stating that everything was "dry"...Even, after being asked by the CUSTOMER to take the equipment. THEY DECLINED TO TAKE IT!!

You then choose to THREATEN WITH PLACING A LIEN ON THE PROPERTY UNLESS $2200 FOR (FRAUDULENT) SERVICES ARE PAID?!

I EMAILED YOU ASKING FOR FAIR/LEGITIMATE ITEMIZED BILL FOR APPROPRIATE, REQUIRED HONEST SERVICES. YOU NEVER REPLIED. YOU SIMPLY CALLED THREATEING A LIEN ON THE PROPERTY UNLESS $2200 ARE PAID FOR SERVICES NOT NEEDED, AND THRU FRAUDULENT PRACTICES.

PLEASE CALL A PLUMBER--THEY DO REMOVE DRYWALL & PROVIDE HONEST SERVICES. IF THERE IS WATER DAMAGE, USE ANOTHER COMPANY THAT DOES NOT FABRICATE DAMAGES TO FRAUDULENTLY BILL INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR SERVICES/REPAIRS NOT NEEDED.
