Called to get a general quote on a mini split system for a my garage. First thing the guy on the phone says: We don't install customer units that you've ordered on Amazon..I asked if they did New mini slit installs not come install my Amazon order. Then he said they would need to have someone come out for a quote and wouldn't give a general or roundabout $ even with the understanding it could change depend on situation. I responded that I ve gotten more than 1 general quote over the phone..Houk AC had no problem giving me $ amount 2 minutes before I called so I said I'm not having someone at my house until I have an understanding of what they charge. His response: Have a good day and hung up. Terrible customer experience.

Brandon and his team did a complete HVAC system replacement for us, and we couldn’t be happier. The crew arrived promptly on time and worked diligently and carefully as a well coordinated team. Since they had to remove all our old outdated equipment and install entire new air conditioning and heating systems, I had no idea it could even be done in a day, and they were packed up and back on the road before 4pm. The guys were so respectful of our home and neighborhood. They kept in communication with us about the progress of the project throughout the day, and made absolutely sure we were satisfied and had no more questions before they were done. They were helpful and transparent with us in the product selection process, and we ended up with a much more efficient system that has already saved us money in cooling bills. Our home is so much more comfortable with cleaner air, that I wish we had done this long ago. They’re the real deal. Highly recommended, good people.

The most painless experience I’ve ever had with any home repair. Brandon came out and arrived on time and had an amazing, honest attitude. He quoted me exactly what I was asking for and broke down the scope of work very simply. The crew arrived exactly at 8 and finished at 2, all were incredibly friendly and did a phenomenal job.

Such an amazing experience working with Jordan from Gentry air . We had had issues with our unit all summer and Jordan took the time needed and had the right expertise to get us back in a comfortable position . We went through 3 different companies all in vain and definitely gentry was the best choice and we will be always calling on them for future needs .

Big thanks to Jacob and Jordan for doing such a great job on my AC repair. They were very informative, honest, friendly, and flexible. It was supposed to rain on the day of my appointment and I needed to get the AC fixed fast since the kids are getting cranky due to the heat..the team at Gentry AC went out of their way and got things done a day before. They have met and exceeded my expectations, they're a great company to work with and I highly recommend them!

My husband and I had the pleasure to meet Jordan Elekwachi from Gentry Air. What a refreshing, dedicated and knowledgeable representative of your company. Jordan serviced two or our units, explained the situation and fixed what was needed. Previous companies we used were always pushing the sale of new equipment; never knowing if your system can be fixed. We will call Gentry going forward and will recommend this company to all our friends.

We needed an older furnace repaired. The unit probably is getting to the replacement point to be honest. However, Gentry came out and said they can repair it and it doesn’t need to be replaced yet. The final cost was a fraction of what we will pay when we do have to buy a new unit. The employees who came out were friendly, professional and did great work. We will absolutely call Gentry whenever we need maintenance on our hearing and cooling units!

On time, professional, diagnosed quick… had parts - highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the service! They were able to come out extremely quick and repair my heater when it was below freezing outside. Jordan was amazing! He took the time to explain what was wrong, show me the issue, and in a very short time get the unit back up and running.

After using several other companies for years, I now have one I can trust. Will absolutely use them going forward! Much more affordable than expected and level of service and professionalism was beyond expectations. I recommend them on the highest level!

Gentry AC is the best! We didn’t realize our downstairs unit was out until Friday at 5pm and Brandon was there first thing Sat morning to fix it. Great service and always reliable!

We had an appointment with Gentry this morning that was scheduled for 8am, and I am very happy with the service provided by Jordan Elekwachi. He arrived 10 minutes early and waited in his service vehicle until the appointment time to knock on our door. Jordan was very professional, courteous, and efficient. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! Phenomenal next day service (I called close to 5 pm yesterday to set up today's appt) and they booked me a technician. Our tech named Jordan was super nice a knowledgeable. He fixed the issue for our one A/C unit that ceased working and showed us how to do a temp fix for next time until they arrive. I've gone through a handful of A/C companies for our house over the years but I will be using Gentry from now on and requesting Jordan as our technician.

Just had a great experience with Gentry Air Conditioning! From the initial call I made to the actual appointment they were excellent to deal with. They are courteous, thorough, and very reasonable. We have used Gentry Air Conditioning for several years and hands down would recommend them every time. They are very quick to reply and schedule us. Gentry installed a new HVAC system in my home three years ago. In Feb. 2025, the furnace motor failed and Gentry immediately came to house and had a new motor installed in less than 4 hours, at no additional cost. I highly recommend Gentry Air Conditioning in North Texas!

This is an update to my earlier review. I've used Gentry twice since then, with good results both times. One nice feature is that they give you an actual appointment, rather than a 4 hour window, which makes scheduling so much easier. Today's technician was Jordan... Very friendly and professional.
Earlier review: Quick service (less than 24 hours), reasonable price (no extra charge for a weekend service call), very kind and professional technician (Jacob). Very happy.

I would highly recommend Gentry. Was able to get an appointment for a/c maintenance right away. Jordan was professional and very personable. Showed and explained everything to me that he was doing. Hard to find caring employees lately. He seemed to really enjoy his job. Their rates were very good too.

I have used Gentry a few times now, and always have a great experience. They are professional, prompt, and polite. I trust their opinion, and never feel like I am being “upsold” on anything. Highly recommend!
