Doesn't get any better than Dean's if you're in the Spicewood area. They've been around over 60 years and have always done the job fast and right for us.

Dean and his crew always respond immediately and handle my A/C problems like they are spending their own money. By that I mean they actually assess and repair things instead of just replacing parts, which has saved me lots of money on more than one occasion.

These guys were great! Father and son came out to fix our AC. Quick, professional and honest men. Very happy and will use them again for sure!

Billy and team installed a new heat pump system a week before 4th of July weekend. When we arrived the Thursday night before the weekend, the new system was not cooling. I left a message that night and they came out Friday to check it out, fixed a weld and refilled freon. 2 hrs later still not cooling. They immediately came back out to check everything out again. Turns out the 50 ft of copper tubing in the foundation was the culprit. Amazingly, they were able to pull it out put new copper tubing in (it was not easy). They were at our house for over 6 hrs until 8:30pm the Friday before holiday weekend to get it fixed because they knew we had a dozen people that were arriving that night for the weekend. THANK YOU to the team at Dean’s Heating and A/C!!!

A/C went out at 1600 hours on Saturday. Friends and neighbors recommended Dean's. I left a message later Saturday, and they returned my call promptly and early on Monday morning. David and Devon arrived at 1000 hours, quickly diagnosed the problem, made the repair, and the 40+ hours without A/C seemed like a distant memory. Dean's, y'all are stuck with us. Thanks for the ideal service, and God bless.

Fortunately, I haven't had need of any major A/C repairs, but I've used Dean's for maintenance and smaller repairs and they've been great! Prompt, friendly personnel and service, and reasonably priced! Thank you!

We had an appointment scheduled on 5/27/25 to have our AC serviced. Nobody showed up during the time window we were given, so we called and rescheduled for today within a window of 0830-1030. Again, no call/no show.

After calling the company back we got a very unapologetic, “Oh, we must have thrown away you paper work.” Very unprofessional to say the least. We will be going elsewhere for our AC service.

We have used these guys for over 15 years for our personal home and rental properties. Great guys that are willing to help out the community and people in need! They are a family run outfit and get the job done!

I worked with Henry first, who was great at getting into the system with me and pointing out directly what we needed to do. He provided pictures inside our system and really great explanations for solutions. We ended up purchasing the solaris system for UV cleaning as well as a cleaning of some of the internal parts because of the mold build-up, yuck!
EJ & Shawn came by to do the install & clean and were also really great to work with! EJ particularly put in some hard work, sweat was beading from his nose as I noticed he was getting into all those hard to reach spots to make our system clean. As much as he was sweating, he seemed to also love what he was doing. Meanwhile, I was drilling them both with tons of questions, of which they happily answered them all like true experts.
Overall, it was an A+ experience and I definitely recommend HVAC Cowboys for anyone needing the work

Henry was prompt and efficient. We had an unusual issue with both of our heat pumps where the 'NEST' thermostats were sending the wrong signal to the outdoor units. Each of the units had a separate issue, and Henry was able to diagnose both independently.

I'm no chump, but this was beyond my expertise, and Henry found the issue and created a temporary solution very quickly. The next day we replaced the thermostats and now everything is working correctly.
