Updated 4/17/2025: TNT did contact me within 24 hours of my post and wanted to address the concerns I posted. They did acknowledge my concerns and addressed them within 48 hours. I am adjusting my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars based upon how they handled the situation. Still waiting to see how the yard responds in time, but for now I'm pleased.

I started using TNT last fall. I still have lots of weeds, the nutgrass in the drainage ditch they treated twice has not changed and they have not fertilized my yard at the end of March. My yard looks less green than the neighbors. For 400/month, I would have expected more.

Virgil is always on top of things. Knowledgeable and can help figure out what you need. Highly recommend tnt for any lawn needs.

Best experience ever with a contractor. Always reliable. Virgil Sims, their local manager is fantastic. I can call anytime with a problem about the lawn and he'll come running almost immediately to see what's going and explain the problem. If a further special treatment is needed to address the problem, Virgil will make sure that the job will get done quickly and professionally. I only have great things to say about TNT, their employees, their services and their products. Well done.

Customer since 2013. This should sum up our feelings about TNT.

They have always been very attentive to their work, and responsive to our needs. Their employees have always been professional and polite. Recently contracted for service for 2020.

Have and will continue to recommend them and their services to all of my friends.

Consistently the nicest lawn in the neighborhood due to their services and a little work on my behalf.

Have utilized them for what seems like ever, and will do so until something changes. They have continually responded to all of my request as promptly as is possible. Lawn just look better and better by the year.

Have also contracted for pest control services as well.

These folks are good, very good. Would recommend them to anyone in our region with issues, They know their business,

be. Nothing but praise from the top of the organization thru each service level. Leadership has instilled a very good effort into their people. Exceptional personnel, Tamika and Gissell in booking/scheduling. Sage and Hazen in service are the best.

And if you ever have an unidentified issue, Ryan and Virgil are the absolute Gurus of lawn care.

On April this year they serviced us on Round 3 for Bermuda program. The service report sent to my email said they did a full treatment with complete fertilizer and sprayed for weeds. However, my cameras recorded video of tech only spot spraying for weeds (never pulled the spreader from the truck to apply fertilizer). I asked for a discount on that round since they did not use part of the products I am paying for. Denied. Tech did not realized I had torpedo grass weed (did not even informed on the service report). I had to send them pictures of it and ask for a service call. They came with a "special herbicide" (never told me what it was nor informed on the report which chemical(s) were being applied to my lawn). They overapplied and burned various spots in my front and back yards. Even told me that if I wanted specific treatments for torpedo that they would charge $25 per visit going forward. Really? See the pictures attached. I am already paying $55 per round. Moreover, today they came to do a Super Aeration, what a joke!. Left particles of fertilizer on my driveway and patio and many dirty spots. Organic fertilizer looks and smells like Milorganite (not specified on the service report what it is besides 05-05-00). They were supposed to treat with Gypsum too but I am not sure if they did - I don't see any traces of it on the ground. Decided to fire them today and cancel service because to me the trust was broken and they seem to be cutting costs via chemicals (this was my my impression).

After being totally dissatisfied with a large chain company, I decided to give TNT a try. My technician was Hazen. He is very knowledgeable in the field of lawn care. Hazen is very detail oriented and took the time to explain what my lawn needed. Unlike the other company, he never tried to sell me something that was not needed to get my lawn healthy. It wasn’t long before my lawn was the envy of the neighborhood. It is GREEN and THICK. The crew that mows my lawn jokingly tells me they are going to have to charge me extra because my lawn is so thick. Hazen is a lawn GOD!! Thank you for all you have done!! I am very pleased with your service.

I started with a diseased and balding lawn. I hired TNT and Jordan is my technician. He has taken on a job and the results are stunning. He not only works hard but is very personable. I can’t believe the difference in my lawn it’s so lush and full of green life (added before and after photos)

This local company knows Houston! Don't go to the big chains, trust me! My lawn was being taken over by weeds, and carpet grass, but they have educated me about St Augustine. Don't use Weed n Feed, it kills your lawn and lets the ugly grass take advantage.

They were honest and told it it will get worse before it gets better, but promised they can help. Here I am a year and a half later and my lawn is AMAZING!

I mow my own lawn because I enjoy it and it lets me see my lawn, shrubs and my house, so I can see any issues (it's also peaceful and rewarding). There is still a little improvement to go but I'm sure by the end of summer I will have 100% fill-in with the spreading!

Today we had a terrible experience with TNT. The technician was incredibly rude as well as the district manager. There are many other companies we could give our business to and service our yard. We had a great experience previously with Leslie and David. I was completely appalled to hear how my husband was spoken to as we have never had this issue before. The only reason we will continue to give our business to TNT is because of David’s great customer service and Leslie. This lack of customer service and unprofessionalism we dealt with today almost caused us to end our business relationship with TNT.

Google maps hours say open til 11pm. Showed up before 8pm and garden entrance was locked up. Posted hours near entrance say open til 8pm. So both are wrong!

I have been pleased with the selection of plants, bushes and trees. They also have a good selection of seeds, fertilizer, soils, mulches etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have also found some good deals on plants and am satisfied with the quality. Not a huge nursery by any means, but convenient and worth checking out when in need of gardening supplies.

Alex came out and repaired a sprinkler line that had been leaking for weeks. He was quick, professional, and affordable. I highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Alex! A friend recommended him to me to do some sprinkler repairs. He did a great job and was very reasonable!

I called and spoke with the owner (Alex) about coming out and giving me a quote on landscaping my front yard. After scheduling a time on two different days which he didn't show or have the courtesy to call to cancel he just didn't show up. I decided to go with someone else who were more responsive and responsible. I don't deal with people who don't keep their word.

This place is moving in the right direction. They are completely in house with literally 1000's of Forms and Moulds to create you an extravagant Fountain or Bench or Coy Pond. Alex and Miranda are very knowledgeable and walk you through every step of the way. Don't be fooled by other landscape suppliers, most of them get their products from Spring Nursery & Landscaping. Drop the middleman and go see Alex for a great price and superior service.
