Reviews of local pros in Van Alstyne, Texas

Koryente is always amazing! They are informative and explain the what and why as they fix the issue, or recommend upgrades. I've used them several times now and I'm always impressed.

Felipe was very responsive honest knowledgeable and fair. He was able to squeeze an appointment in at the last minute and explained the issues thoroughly and had everything fixed and up and running quickly. Will definitely use this company again

A tree limb fell and disconnected the power line from my house. Unfortunately this happened on Thanksgiving Day! Oncor was happy to turn off electrical (for safety reasons) and said we just needed to get an electrician out and then to call them and they’d reconnect power. It sounded so simple, right? Well after numerous attempts at getting an electrician, Felipe came and assessed the damage, on a Sunday! He gave me an estimate to do the work. Then I found out we also needed a permit and city inspection which could take days. Felipe and his team coordinated all of this for me and got an emergency inspection by the city. All the work was completed by Monday afternoon. And they even replaced a board on the house that was pulled off. I just wish Oncor was as easy to work with. It took them until Tues at 11pm to get power back on! Thanks Felipe for giving me peace of mind and handling for me!

Felipe did excellent work and price was competitive. Will definitely do more work with him in the future.

Highly recommend! This electrical contractor provided exceptional service, combining years of experience with a professional approach. They were prompt, efficient, and delivered high-quality work. Best of all, their pricing was fair and transparent, making the entire process stress-free. A reliable choice for any electrical project!

When I needed help with electrical equipment and understanding surge protectors, Felipe was fantastic. He explained everything in great detail, ensuring I had all the answers I was looking for. I highly recommend him/Koryente !

Wow, what an amazing team! I found myself in a bit of a jam today needing an outlet fixed ASAP, and they totally swooped in to help. Not only did they fix everything quickly, but they were also super friendly and gave me some helpful tips to keep my home safe down the road. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future electrical needs. Thank y'all so much!♡

We recently hired Koryente Electrical Contractors for our custom home build, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations in every way. They were incredibly responsive, always on time, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that everything was installed perfectly and up to code.

What really stood out was their professionalism and expertise. They took the time to understand our specific needs and offered valuable suggestions that enhanced the overall functionality and safety of our electrical system. The team was also very respectful of our home, keeping the work area clean and organized.

If you’re looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused electrician, we highly recommend Koryente Electrical Contractors. They made our custom build a stress-free experience, and we’re thrilled with the quality of their work. Definitely a 5-star service!

Was having a hard time getting an electrical contractor to respond. I made 1 call to Koryente Electrical and spoke with Felipe and we spoke about my project and he came out within an hour to review and give me an estimate. Agreed on price and project date and he showed up on time and completed a professional job. I would highly recommend and will definitely use Felipe again. He will be back in mid August to connect my Generac.

I had an excellent experience working with Koryente. They were professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their team handled my project with precision and efficiency, ensuring everything was up to code and completed on schedule.

What impressed me the most was their commercial experience—they understood the complexity of my project and provided innovative solutions that went beyond my expectations. Whether it’s residential or commercial work, I highly recommend them for anyone looking for reliable and skilled electricians. I’ll definitely be using their services again!

Koryente installed an electrical subpanel and 3 additional circuits for us. The installation was professionally executed, done on time, and the Koryente team worked well with the HVAC contract personnel that installed the equipment. The communication with Felipe and his team was excellent throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work you need done.

Koryente upgraded my electrical fuse box in preparation for receiving solar panels installed on the roof. They also installed a whole home surge protector and brought everything up to current building code. They also installed my solar batteries and replaced my home thermostat. Always on time and cleaned up when finished. Very polite and they knew what they were doing. I highly recommend them for any electrical work needed.

Very clean and friendly. They allowed me to work along side them as I finished my projects and they made adjustments/good advice for future projects. They kept me informed on the process as well.

Koryente Techs were excellent to work with and efficient with very reasonable and fair pricing. They were able to install six data drops and wireless Access Points in our warehouse. Very professional and communicative. Will definitely use them again and so should everyone.

I recently used Koryente to install a whole home surge protector and was very pleased with the service. Felipe got back to me quickly, provided a quote, and both him and Wilson even came out the same day to do the work. They were courteous, professional, and efficient, with fair pricing (and they stuck to their word). Their work was clean and they double checked everything prior to cleaning up. I had put a portable work light and extension cord in the room they were working in since lights had not yet been installed, and found that they had not only cleaned everything up, but even wrapped my cord up neatly with the light.
I was also pleased to see that even so the brand/model of surge protector was not one they frequently installed, they double checked their installation against the manufacturer's instructions to make sure my warranty would be good and everything was done right.
This is a highly professional outfit, and I think you'll find the same when you give them a call. Definitely recommend.

Felipe and his crew (Hector and Wilson) installed electrical services for our Tiny Home community from the ground up. Felipe (owner) came out and measured, dug, pulled wire and worked very hard himself. It was a total turn key job. We literally stepped back and they handled everything.

We were given an estimate (which was market price), a payment schedule and a firm handshake. Koryente was on time, professional, friendly, and always had clean uniforms. They trenched, laid conduit, set pedestals, pulled wire and went above and beyond to keep us in the loop. Even after their trencher broke three times they figured out how to get the job done. They made sure we were satisfied at every key juncture of the project. Even running power to my shop as a bonus.

I can not speak more highly of a company and how professional they were. By the way they stuck to the original estimate which helped us remain closer to our budget.

I will use and refer Koryente in the future to anyone needing small to really big jobs.

I true testament to how great of a job they did is knowing, I would invite them into my home and break bread with them.

Excellent service. We needed our central air conditioner relocated from it's original area and also wanted our generator connected to our house. Felipe is extremely knowledgeable with extra focus on safety. Koryente LLC was very easy to contact and communicate with, as well as being very professional and dependable. We feel very fortunate to have found this company and have already discussed a few other household jobs we are going to have done. 5 star service from start to finish! Huge thank you from "The Clancy's"

The Koryente group were amazing in getting my Tesla charger installed. Their communication is superb and their service is outstanding! If you need work done they are your go to. Give them a call and get on their schedule - you will not be disappointed

Great quality of service to upgrade the lighting situations in our kitchen and breakfast areas. In the kitchen, we swapped the builder's grade fluorescent to track lighting ourselves, but it cast shadows all over the counter tops, making it hard to see what I was doing. We had a single bulb unit over our breakfast table that didn't provide adequate light either. Though I knew I wanted canned lights, I consulted with the owner of the company as to his recommendations for type of product (low profile and LED), quantity and configuration. He took great care in measuring the placement so that there was hardly any shade on the walls, provides good lighting through all of the rooms and floor space and making sure to shed lights on the counter tops with minimal shadows. Plus, he installed dimmer switches so I could adjust based on need. He protected surfaces throughout and the work spaces were clean after install. Now I don't feel like I need to spend any extra money on installing under cabinet lighting! Very happy with the outcomes and it was a pleasure working with this company - I'd hire them again for other electrical projects. [for services early September 2019]

Ever since we bought our first home, my wife and I wanted to have recessed lights installed in the main living area of the house. The room only had a ceiling fan with a bowl light, and it didn't provide enough light to the room. More importantly, we also needed to have a backup power solution to our home, as we often lose power for several hours during heavy storms, and we both work from home full time.

We hired Koryente Electrical Services to do the job, and could not have been more pleased with the entire process. The owner asked us several questions, and walked us through the available lighting options, and gave us their pros and cons (cost, ease of installation/replacement, longevity, etc).

I've dealt with contractors before, but never have I had an experience where the contractor worked as if they had my best interests in mind from the start to finish, rather than their own. Some might try and use their clients' naivety to take advantage for profit, but Koryente wanted to be sure that when it was all said and done, that we were happy with every aspect of the work.

The owner, a Master electrician, who currently holds an Unlimited License issued by North Carolina (the highest license that one can obtain) is also fully licensed to work in the states of Texas and Florida.

I was informed by neighbors that I needed a six-circuit setup to best operate a portable generator. I reached out to Koryente Electrical to schedule this installation. The owner and master electrician took the time to explain that a six-circuit setup would be cost-prohibitive and restrict my options in the event of a power outage. Instead, he recommended an inlet box, which was installed flawlessly. He also took the time to explain everything to me, connect my generator, and even let me record the process so I can remember it when there’s an actual power outage. This exceptional service has provided me with immense peace of mind. I am deeply grateful and appreciative.
