Reviews of local pros in Van Alstyne, Texas

We have used Top Notch over 10 years and will continue to use them.
Professional, honest, and punctual.
Good people to do business with.

We used Top Notch to re-wire our breaker box as well as take care of some of the outlets throughout the house. Terry and his crew did an outstanding job. They are very professional, knowledgeable and quick. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any electrical needs. Keep up the great work.

Seth and Damian were awesome. We had them install lights and a fan for our new patio. They offered to color match the conduit/boxes and route wires to make the install clean and tidy.

Summary: Top Notch Electrician did a top notch job for us. They were efficient, competent, communicative, easy to work with, did excellent work, and did a nice job of clean up when done. We would absolutely recommend Top Notch for electrical work, and will call them for any future electrical work that we need done.

Details: Our contractor chose Top Notch Electrician to do the electrical work required by code for the conversion of our covered back patio into an additional room. Top Notch worked with us to create a plan that would provide the needed wiring and outlets in spite of three walls of the room now being the former brick outside of the house.

The person in charge from Top Notch made sure that his crew understood the plan before they began. We had agreed to use conduit on the brick walls, and the crew was ready with the equipment to cut and bend the conduit and attach it to the brick. The crew showed their expertise by working efficiently and getting the job done right the first time. When they were through, their installation looked really nice and professional, and they had done a good job of cleaning up after themselves.

We were particularly impressed by how considerate the crew was and how well they communicated with us during the job. Before they began, they discussed the plan with us, and they let us know that the drilling into the brick would be noisy. At lunch time, they let us know when they were about to leave and when they would be back. When they were done, they let us know and explained that the next step was an inspection by the town, that the inspection had been requested, and that it would probably be the next week before it was done.

Top Notch has helped me with many projects. Danielle & Brittany are always so helpful and willing to jump through hoops to help me out when need be. From ownership, dispatch, to technicians they truly are “top notch.” They will continue to be my go to.

Top Notch added wiring for our new septic system. The technicians did an awesome job in a timely manner. They were very friendly and polite. This company owns up to it's name...they were TOP NOTCH!

I've had Top Notch Electrician do a couple of small projects around my house, but they just finished a major solar inverter install for me to fix major problems caused by another company. The Top Notch team was truly top notch. They wired up my inverters, a Generac transfer switch, the PV cutoffs, multiple breakers, battery cables and the circuits needed to get everything working. They are very professional, competent and trustworthy. Highly recommended!!

Haden has redone every light in my house to make everything brighter and up to code in great speed. Definitely recommend him to do any electrician type things. He’s also real good lookin. 5 stars.

We called about some intermittent electrical service to our house. Haden came out and, though there wasn't anything he could do for us, he explained the issue thoroughly and was very knowledgeable and courteous. Would recommend 👌.

Brandon Pace and the entire top notch crew went above and beyond what we needed and even had better suggestions than we did! Great job guys highly recommend

5 Stars for Kaden! He was such a polite and curious young man. Very knowledgeable with excellent work ethics. Will definitely request him for our next big project!

Terry and his team were amazing! We installed 6 recessed lights in our kitchen. They responded quickly and do an amazing job. They not only do a great job with the installation, but also left my home clean when they were done. Our kitchen is brighter and exactly how I imagined. I highly recommend them! Thank you for the great work!

Worked with TNE recently for some additional outlets to be added- attic access bringing outlets down a wall for a tv and computers. First off Andrew and Payson were right on time, always a good sign. TNE actually got my scheduled day moved up to same day- so that was even more amazing. The work performed by these two fine upstanding electricians was outstanding- they were professional, communicative, and very conscientious of my needs and what I could expect. They did a great job in circumstances that became increasingly difficult, exceeded my expectations, and did a fantastic job cleaning up and putting things back as they were. Both electric and plumbing work always goes awry once projects start- that is their nature. What you think will be easy never is- and TNE and their employees are ready for the challenge. I highly recommend this company- choose them with confidence. A note about price- they were not the cheapest choice, but their pricing was very competitive and they were available almost immediately. Tory at the office was extremely responsive and pleasant to talk to- that combined with their timeliness and performance should be factored into a buying decision. That and the cheapest in plumbing and electric is sure to get you just that- cheap work. When it comes to your home or business that is just not the right decision. Red Bull cheers to TNE- THANKS!!

I had an emergency and Top Notch was quick to get a technician out. Kayden and Cody provided excellent service. Took care of the issue and they were very friendly. Thank you.

Haden came in a stormy day to redo some wiring previous electricians messed up. And he fixed everything within the same day. Most definitely going to have him do more when needed. He’s such great help!!!! 10/10 electrician.

Haden is very efficient. Great at communicating. I needed some outlets moved and he knocked it out quickly. Would recommend Top Notch Electrician to all my friends now.

The owner, Terry Adams, and all of his employees at Top Notch Electrician truly make the company name come true. I requested a quote for a whole house generator. Terry met with me, and I was impressed that the business owner was the person to provide me the quote. That was not the case with other quotes I received. Terry is extremely knowledgeable and has a great business attitude. He made selecting his company very easy for me. I had several contacts with his office staff through the process. Tori and Brittany were so kind, polite and knowledgeable. I learned that Brittany is also an electrician. Justin, Kennen and Peyton were the technicians who completed the Generac installation for me. They mirrored the attitude of the owner. Each of them answered my questions, were very polite and also extremely knowledgeable. They did a very professional job and cleaned up after completion. I always try to hire local businesses. Top Notch is definitely one I would highly recommend and will use in the future.

We contacted TNE to come out and troubleshoot some issues with our electrical, and all that I can say, is WOW! The girls in the office are very polite and go above and beyond to work with your schedule. The technician arrived on time, was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and communicated with us about the entire process. Kaden, you are truly a Top Notch young man and it was a pleasure doing business with this company! We will be using this company in the future!

I cannot say enough about how amazing this company is. We have been through heck and back trying to get our house built and ready for us to move in. They've been above and beyond in their patience while working with us and our ever-changing schedule, helping us several times with events out of our control, and so much more. These guys definitely are Top Notch!! If you ever need electrical work done, you're making a mistake if you hire someone else!

Kaden and Ben did excellent work! Happy I hired them for my renovation. They even serviced my place in Collin county. Thanks team!

There are so many electrical service companies around! But, if you want quality and know how, Top Notch Electrician is the only company to call! Kaden is a fine young man! His attention to detail, and the pride he exhibits for his work are not easily found in this day and age. Thank you Top Notch, and thank you Kaden!
