Colton was great to work with. He was on time, he listened to my concerns then immediately got to work identifying the problems. He explained what was going on, showed me pictures, and presented me with several repair options. He was polite, informative, and efficient.

Mister sparky is awesome. They took really good care of me. Love that they are 24/7 and same day service. Helpful and answered all my questions!

Bobby was incredible! He answered all my questions and looked things over to make sure all was going well with my electrical system. He gave me a lot of information and I know what to have worked on next. He was wonderful-thanks for sending him.

Elliot was great and spent a good amount of time evaluating the existing infrastructure system looking for best ways to perform the tasks and then providing information and estimate. The estimate was high based on market research and comps but the quality seems like it would definitely be there. To be clear I did not (yet) pay for services, just had an estimate/appraisal.

Met with Anthony this afternoon for an electrical check up, went great and he also installed the extra Halo light I was left in July in my bathroom…what a marked improvement, and the cost was reasonable.

I will invite Anthony back to replace can lights in my kitchen, put 2 dimmer switches on and perhaps reconfigure a corner living room light at a later date.

So happy with Mr Sparky and those who represent the company.

Bobby and Austin what a great team! Bobby came out for a bathroom fan (pic 1) replacement and went over a few things I’ve been meaning to have taken care of for 20+ years…Bobby gave me an excellent overall condition of my electrical and great quote. Austin came in later and started the job, with Bobby close by. They ended up staying a bit later than I thought they would for a Saturday but got all the small things done. Next week it’s a panel update! Yea! Will keep Mister Sparky with Bobby and Austin at the top of my list. Adding needed c02 and smoke detectors, home surge protection and in a week going to get needed light updates. Complete with cleaning up after the bits of wire strips and small pieces of dry wall.

Anthony was very respectful and helpful. Turns out it was not an electrical problem but he was so helpful to a new home owner who didn’t know what she was doing. He was very thorough and careful in helping me find the problem and gave me the information I needed to fix the problem. I will use your service again when the need arises.

Jake was so great! He went through everything thoroughly and explained everything and answered all of our questions. I learned a lot and also feel more comfortable knowing what it will take to get the electrical items that have had issues fixed and things updated and safe. Thank you so much!

When the gentleman arrived I was very specific about the fact that I only wanted 5 smoke detectors replaced. I wanted two of them to be carbon monoxide detectors as well! He said ok! He ended up preparing three bids on various different items! Quotes to replace breaker box, install a new type of breaker and then the detectors only! His bid on detectors was 1500! I already had a bid of 830.00 with another company! He even heard me speak to the other company! He sat here for another 1.5 hours arguing why I should use him. Finally he left upset! It was worse than any used car salesman I have ever dealt with!

Elliot did an incredible job with our inspection and quote on a home we were under contract to buy. His expertise, transparency, thoroughness, detailed report, and walk through gave us the peace of mind on our decision moving forward. Thank you!!

Coltin came over to our house right on time and provided us with a bid for the service we needed. He also installed a new smoke alarm in our basement. He was extremely professional and got things done very efficiently. Highly recommend these guys.

I didn't have a great experience with my technician, whose name I'll leave out of this. I called them for a quote on getting a 240V outlet installed for charging my EV. The technician that came, while friendly and as far as I could tell was knowledgeable, instead of giving me a quick quote did a full examination of my electrical system (which I didn't ask for or authorize).

He came back with a whole list of recommendations for my electrical system, including a brand new electrical panel (my house is only 3 years old and the panel is rated to last 20 years). He removed one of my outlets from the wall (unauthorized) so he could take a picture to highlight the low quality of it and tried to sell me on replacing every outlet in my house with a more expensive outlet (completely unnecessary and wasn't asked for or authorized by me).

All I wanted was a quote on a 240V outlet install. Instead he quoted me at fully overhauling my whole electrical system and that was over $20k. He did give me a more affordable option for only the work I was asking for (it still included things I wasn't asking for) and that was over $4k. From doing some research online and talking with others a very common price for the work I was looking to have done is anywhere from $500 - $1,500.

He used a lot of analogies and metaphors - compared this company's technicians to harvard grads and technicians at other companies to community college grads. He used a lot of sales heavy language, tried to subtly (not so subtly) instill a fear of my house catching fire so he could upsell me on expensive electrical safety equipment. I felt like I was getting lectured about how great this company was compared to others.

What I was expecting to be a quick 10 - 15 minute estimate turned into him talking my ear off and being at my house for close to an hour.

It sounds like a lot of people have had positive experiences with these guys, and I'm happy for them, but mine was largely negative and I wouldn't recommend them based on my experience. I called another reputable electrician in the area (Neerings) and they did the job at a fraction of the price that Mr Sparky quoted me at.

Anthony was quick to find and resolve the issue. He was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him for electrical issues

As a business owner with over 50 luxury homes in Park City, that works with dozens of Vendors on a daily basis, I can confidently say I have never experienced such a knowledgeable and friendly electrician such as Coltin. He assessed one of my personal homes — a 1950’s rambler home in Salt Lake with 3 different electrical systems and solar panels, all built at different times over the last 75 years. He put things in simple terms and I felt confident with his recommendation for a smaller $500 repair, and plan to do a future upgrade with Coltin. Thank you for your knowledge.

Elliot with Mister Sparky arrived during the specified time and was very respectful of our property. Elliot made sure he had a clear understanding of the job and what was expected and provided me with a clear outline of what he was going to do, along with the flat rate cost. I was apprehensive that the job would be unreasonably expensive with unexpected add ons and was getting ready to say No Thank you when I was provided with what I believe was a fair price for the amount of time the job actually took from start to finish. Elliot was friendly, easy to talk to and I felt comfortable asking question or talking about concerns. Thanks Elliott and Mister Sparky from a very satisfied customer. I do believe that a fair price and friendly service does a long way!

Anthony was great! Very respectful of our home and polite. He did a wonderful job and was very thorough. Answered any questions we had as well. Mathew came out initially to inspect our home after we had an issue with a Tesla charger. He showed us what was happening with our panel and how our home had been changed by us moving from new home owners to living here for 10 years. We have added so many upgrades like a hot tub, Tesla charger etc. our panel was overloaded. Electrical can cause so many problems and fires in a home, very important to be done correctly and safely.

Ok… will this get seen by other people?! Who knows as I am sure they can pick and chose what reviews actually get posted, but in the hopes that this saves anyone from a company nightmare I will write it.
First of all Matthew Shaw although a nice guy is a typical salesmen, shoots the shits finds common interests, is probably a dissent human being, but at the end of the day won’t leave your house until he gets the sale he needs, which is pretty exhausting so be prepared to have him hang out for 4 hours while explaining all the million things and then attempting to price gouging the hell out of you.
I needed the panel ungraded and they did “throw” in some stuff which was cool, but when it is all already over priced by a few thousand bucks is it really free? No.
Next the electrician Brendan… he is awesome. Super cool, honest, did a great job and was NOT trying to be anything more than the guy hired to do the job. Too bad he works for an unfortunate company. Go work somewhere else Brendan! Can you hear me?! You are awesome.
Anyway at the end of the day it is what it is, cringy worthy experience and every-time you come across one you grow a stronger back bone right?!
Would not recommend this company. Also two stars, one for Matthew cause he at least is trying to hustle and one for Brendan… I would give him two but that would just make the company look better and I don’t want that.

Matthew did an excellent job! He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient from start to finish. He explained everything clearly and made sure the work was done safely and correctly. I really appreciated his attention to detail and how respectful he was of my home. Highly recommend!

Jake (from State Farm) is amazing! He explained everything perfect! I highly recommend these guys! I need to add on here that their service tech Brendan is awesome! We ran into some issues with wiring a smoke detector, like a champ he let me know what was up and after a little frustration, which he was amazing dealing with me, he figured it out. Then there was another issue figuring out how to wire in a camera over my front door. Brendan did some thinking and he was able to figure it out without having to cut into the sheetrock. Needless to say I was relieved. So from the boss to Jake to Brendan, this company is amazing! I give them 10 stars for being patient and understanding with our craziness! Thank you all and I will recommend you to anyone I know needing electrical work! Thank you all so much!!! 🙂

Had a big power issue and then added some lights in a dark living room. I called a few people and others were days out but not sparky they had some one to fix the big issue immediately! Beyond happy with both projects

I had a lot of work for them and he was able to get it all done in one day, he even had to go to the store for parts did a fantastic job. Checked our whole house. Ran a new line in our garage because several sockets, out there, wire got nicked and stopped working . Now fixed. But cost $1,400. $400 to checked problems and $1000 to run wire.

They came back to do re wiring our bedroom had to re wire the light re wire outlets and put in a new electric panel. They came out at the last minute and finished up before my big party
I feel very safe now. Before our electric was tripping every day with fear of house burning down. Now I feel safe. But once again it was very expensive $4,500.
They were fast. Precise, neat, professional, and did a good job.

Anthony came to do an electrical inspection, and he was great to work with. Super friendly, respectful of our home, and really easy to talk to. He walked me through everything he checked and explained what needed attention in a way that actually made sense. There's no denying my home's electrical needs help. I knew that before he got here. 😅 So I asked for estimates.
I liked that he gave me three options—sorted by safety and cost—without any pressure or sales vibe at all. The inspection was included in a package I purchased along with some work I had the Mr. Sparky team do last year, so there was no charge this time. But Anthony still gave it the same care and attention.
Overall, I really appreciated how thoughtful and down‑to‑earth he was. It’s clear he genuinely cares about keeping your home and family safe, and that kind of service sticks with you.
