Dylan took the time to diagnose and repair my mom’s HVAC while she was in the hospital, the parts were obsolete but he gave us time to get through a rough patch of life, once we could breathe he gave us an amazing quote and we had him replace the AC and furnace.

We hired a GC to build us a home. This company was hired to do all the hvac for the home. We had a few issues that came up and Dylan got us all fixed up. Dylan knows his stuff and I am so grateful that the noise coming from our system is finally gone!

I hired Dylan and Christensen to install a whole home humidifier. It went well and charged a fair price. As a result, I hired him to replace an HVAC system that cost me over $18k.I ultimately had several issues outlined below:
1. We agreed each room would have a dedicated return. I ultimately caught that they had ran one of the ducts to a different return box that was as an open vent. Ultimately, it would have rendered the return in that room completely useless. At first, he declined to fix until I told him we were going to test it together by placing a sheet of paper on it to see if it would hold. His on worker even admitted to me that he had never seen it done like that before, but said ‘maybe it’s different I usually do commercial.’ Picture below of return that was supposed to run to system from bedroom but he tapped into return vent (ultimately covered shut).
2. He didn’t install a dedicated slot for my filter. He cut a slot in the duct for the filter to lean in sideways. After it kept failing due to it falling the wrong way on its own where the filter wouldn’t even work, he rigged a piece of metal to hold it in place.
3. My master bedroom was extremely warm due to being northwest facing with many windows. I had asked for additional ducts to be installed. Dylan said it couldn’t be done due to lack of access in my attic. He ultimately installs the vent just outside my room. Before install, and during the week the crew was here I must have asked 5 different times trying to give ideas of ways to run a duct. None seemed to work in his mind and he kept pushing for a mini split system that would cost thousands more. I decided to wait until after the new upgraded system was installed before making a decision. In the mean time I had an insulation company come out to see if that would help. The tech literally laughed when I told him that Christensen wouldn’t do it due to no attic access. Dylan ultimately agreed to move the vent but first wanted $1,200 to do so. After haggling back and forth he ultimately agreed to charge me on an hourly basis of $175. When I asked his guys how much it would cost. They said not much we did it 1.5 hours but Dylan would let me know. The tech shared that he lived in my neighborhood down the street. Dylan let me know that his guys had to drive 1.5 hours each way to Salt Lake City from kaysville plus materials it was going to cost me over $800. I’m about 25-35 minutes from the city depending upon where you are going.
4. My unit was eligible for tax rebates per the Lennox site. Dylan refused to provide me with the paperwork needed to submit it. He at first said there were income limits and most people don’t qualify which is false. There are no income limits. I was never able to get the tax credit because it expired 9/30/25.
5. He offered a tune up of the unit come fall. He has since just ignored my text messages.
