This company completely lacks communication skills. This will teach me to ever buy anything sold door-to-door. I usually don't, but when the guy said they would kill all my weeds in one year of treatment, I am so fed up with living in a weed experiment.

It was later in the year and he sold me 7 treatments instead of the usual 8. I got 6 before they started bringing payment due statements.

He told me they would just show up for each and I told him I wanted a warning -- so I was home, so I was awake, so I wasn't out of town for a month. They left bills hanging on my door when I was out of town for 2 weeks. The first time I had a warning was my last treatment in the spring.

Some treatments were just fertilizer for the grass. They sprayed it where I wanted no grass. They killed some of the weeds I liked, but new ones took their place. I had a huge section of yard covered in plastic to prevent weeds and, after they insisted on tearing it out, it's filled with weeds again.

In the end, they showed up for a treatment showing I owed money for it. The guy said someone would call to discuss it and they never did. They sent him back a few days later with exactly the same paperwork.

Each guy who showed up to work on my house (of the ones I spoke to) said that their customers are usually happy. Apparently they don't do much for the ones that aren't.

We contacted GreenSide because of the great work they were doing at our neighbor's home. GreenSide's employee David was a *super* representative for the company, explaining with obvious knowledge regarding an irrigation problem we have. When we contacted GreenSide for a quote, they responded immediately. Elisha, their office manager, has been great at getting us information in a timely manner and follow up.

Greenside is a great company to work with! I was able to get rescheduled quickly for my second application. Harley was such a friendly associate. He introduced himself to me and told me that if I had any questions to let him know. A+ customer service!

Tyson and Mario were fantastic! They went through all my sprinklers and resolved my problems. They used the appropriate materials to improve my system and made sure everything was working as it should at the end.

Shaun and Tyler were awesome! We switched over to Greenside this year after tons of issues with a previous company over the past 3 years. This team was professional, respectful and did such a great job!

I used their services years ago. They came out and suggested if their services didn't work to replace the sod 100% I informed them I was a renter and not interested in that cost to replace 2500 sqft. Of sod. Just wanted to save on my water bill. They said their spray may help. Then left without spraying. Got a bill for them spraying even though they did not spray. I called and the customer service lady informed me she was quiting because of incidents like that. Told me she would help me get someone there buy warned me if things went bad to discontinue. They sprayed and it worked okay. Went through a few treatments and it just didn't seem worth it. 1 time the guy only sprayed the front yard and left. I was fed up and done. That combined with the landlord selling and not renewing my lease. I called and quit and they kept coming even though I no longer lived there. Kept sending me bills I called and disputed now 5 years later they send me to collections for $139. I will hire a lawyer long before I pay them a dime.

For the last 3 years, I have had issues with my sprinklers, it has cost me a lot of money and time. I have had 3 different companies come out who said they fixed the issues, but in reality did not. In fustration I went looking for yet another company.

Greenside was already doing my pest control, so I reached out to them in regards to landscaping services. Elisha in the office is very patient and understanding. She is prompt in response and scheduling and very easy to work with.
Alisha sent out Barry and Issac allowing enough time for them to go through all my sprinklers and replace and resolve all my issues.
Barry was very knowledgeable and detail oriented and with patience and preserverance he spent the whole day re-vamping my sprinkler system. He knows his stuff, he didn't just hurry through the job order, he took his time to make sure everything was working, he used the appropriate eqiupment for what My yard needed while also patiently listening and addressing my concerns. I have now requested with Greenside that only Barry work on my sprinklers and system as he in the last three years and 3 companies later has been the only person to successfully address and correct all issues with my yards needs. His helper Issac, was also patient and eager to learn what Barry was teaching him. At any point I did not witness him just standing around he but actively listening and assisting in the needs of Barry and the demands of myself and yard. When I recieved the invoice I was surprised at the cost, finally I had an invoice for work the was done professionaly and correctly. I knew I was paying for services rendered and truly got my money's worth.

I would advise and recommend anyone who has gone through the troubles and issues I have in the past years to reach out to Greenside Landscaping and Pest control. You will not regret it.

A side note about the pest control, they have been doing our pest control for a year or so now, they are thorough and their techniques in application has resulted is very low appeaences of bugs and spiders. They know what they are doing and take it from me with a household who hates bugs and spiders, greenside gets to the spaces the bugs go and we don't have to worry about seeing the pesky things.

Thank you Greenside for saving for keeping my yard looking great and spiders under control. I am a lifetime, more than satisfied customer.

I contacted this Company in late October after I thought I had missed the deadline for my HOA's scheduled sprinkler winterization. I scheduled the service and told I would get a call one day before to confirm. I found out later that the service was not actually needed, as my HOA had in fact performed it already. A confirmation call was never made and never saw a technician at my house so I figured Greenside had just gotten too busy. A month later I received an invoice from Greenside requesting $150 for payment of services, that I never got a confirmation for or saw being performed. The water valve to my sprinkler system is in my basement, so I'm not sure how they even would have accessed the shut off valve to do the job properly.

When I called in April to dispute the charge and hopefully prevent it from being sent to collections, I spoke to Amber in the office, who was unwillingly to hear out my side of the story, and I was told repeatedly "my guys don't work for free". Amber even confirmed on the phone that the techs are supposed to call a day before to confirm, but when I referenced my phone records as evidence that no one called me, it was brushed aside by statements like "my guys are very thorough". When I challenged the idea that they never make a mistake in this process, Amber hung up the phone on me, threatening to just send me to collections over the $150. I did make the payment to avoid being sent to collections and impacting my credit score, but will be retroactively seeking recouperation of funds through the court system.

I would recommend giving your business elsewhere, where communication and customer service are valued.

I’ve been fighting weeds and lawn insects for a few years now. I used a well known company (who’s name rhymes with True Green). I was not impressed with them. Surfing the net earlier this year, I came across a company named GreenSide. I gave em a call and discussed my lawn needs. They gave me the yearly price which seemed reasonable for the amount of applications which included home exterior insect spraying. I told them to impress me. If not, I would cancel. Well they impressed heck outta me. I saw progress very quickly. Weeds and bugs are gone and the grass is very green. I also had a few sprinkler problems. Trying to find someone to come look at em has been impossible. So I thought I’d call GreenSide to see if they could recommend someone. They said yes, our tech Dave can do it. He came out the very same day. I wasn’t home at the time but he seemed to know exactly what was needed. I got home and checked the system. The adjustments are covering much better. Anytime I have a concern, I give em a call and they are more than happy to help. My lawn has not looked this good in quite a while. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again next year.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with the responsiveness, pricing, communication, efficiency and value of Greenside. I appreciated that John offered a bid that was broken down bit by bit so we could tell him what we needed and what we could wait on for another time. The team came in here and got right to work, they were all very kind and helpful with all of my questions throughout the process. Once the job was completed, I had a few minor changes and they came right back and did them for us. I would absolutely work with Greenside again!

Update - Weeks after the job was complete we had a little dead spot on our grass. Shaun came out THE very next day to check on the sprinkler head and swapped it out to ensure full coverage for our new sod. If every contractor worked this way the world would be a better place! SO IMPRESSED!!!

Man these guys are the best! They’ve always made sure our irrigation system is up and running like champ.

This time we needed them for real mess! Hahah. We had a large fence project completed which unfortunately and understandably damaged multiple sprinkler lines as well as the sprinkler main in several places.

Tyson and Mario showed up and spent two full days troubleshooting, digging in the mud and repairing each and every pipe and sprinkler head to perfection! They also did a thorough sweep of the entire system and it’s now running smoothly.

I was totally impressed with the technicians, Able and Ezequiel! They were amazing! They knew what they were doing and made sure that I was pleased with their work. They were very accommodating. My young dog, Dolly, loved them! She is some what presty and wouldn't leave them alone. And kept escaping to be with to see what they were up to. They were very patient and kind. If I need more work done, I will request the two of them! They did such a good job.

Do not, I repeat do NOT book with this company. They will overcharge and under deliver. I had to have another company come out twice to fix their issues. They’re really unhelpful and the owner is a bad man

Would not recommend Thrive to anyone. Landscaping services for our community were very poor and their pricing for snow removal was outrageous. We were charged >$3000 for one storm for a short road and 20 small driveways. They charged >$500 in salt alone. Stay away.

I live in an HOA community. I had Thrive Landscape Services put in a lot of bushes and plants around the outside of my home and patio. They were very professional, dependable and punctual. I am very pleased with all that Doug and his crew did for me. Everything looks wonderful and I am the envy of my HOA community. I highly recommend Thrive Landscaping!

Derek Martindale has done yard care for me for several years. He and his men have always been dependable and thorough whether lawn care, sprinkler system repair, yard cleanup, or with whatever he was asked to do.
