Utility Contractor reviews across the US

They were burying a line at my next doors neighbors house on January 9 2024, when they decided to use their machinery on my driveway. They ended up chipping my driveway. We went to their office on several occasions seeking a solution for them to pay for the damage. We have gotten nothing but the run around. Was told that they would send a check in the mail, they are scammers and liars. Will be suing for the damages. I think this company is an absolute disgrace for dodging calls and a payment they OWE.

It’s an ok work performed. It’s expensive when you probably don’t have home insurance!

They came and repaired our driveway! They did an awesome job! I would recommend them to everyone! They were sure nice and did a fantastic job on our driveway! A++++++

Commonwealth has been working on our street for quite a while. They’re putting in new waterlines. Every person we’ve spoken to has been extremely professional and polite.
Last night we had what appeared to be a leak and we weren’t sure if it was our water heater, boiler or from the construction. It was Saturday night about 8 o’clock at night and I called the number that was provided by Commenwealth. While we were down cleaning up the water the person in charge called me 12 times. I unfortunately didn’t have my phone with me. I called him back and he took the time to walk me through what possibly could’ve been the cause and again was very professional and helpful. We found out it was the boiler and some gaskets that needed to be replaced.
I can’t say enough about this company.

Very professional, my main water line from the sidewalk to my basement had a leak and it was starting to run into the basement. The city shut off the water main. Commonwealth Construction, was there with in an hour .
They were able to dig down to the main water line from the street . They removed the old water line going into the basement and replaced it, without digging my lawn up with one of there tools. They sent one of there plumbers in to complete the inside work
My water was turned back on. Thank you and your crew, very Professional.

Last spring my basement flooded, and it turned out that the sewer was clogged, and the sewer lateral was broken at the "chimney" - the point where it turns straight down to connect to the city sewer line. The break was 9 feet below the surface, so it required excavation. Ronan 953 did a terrific job -- they also helped me through the process of getting partial reimbursement from the Boston Water and Sewer Commission. The work was finished in one day, while we were out of town, and the sewer has worked perfectly ever since. I recommend them highly.

Ronan 953 did a fantastic job correcting a sewer issue that we had. They quickly identified and explained the problem to us. They even coordinated with the contractor that had done sewer work on the street to come back and fix the issue at no cost to us.

What a great experience considering the lousy situation we found ourselves in! It was a Friday before a long weekend when our sewer line started backing up in our 6 unit condo building. Unfortunately the drain company determined our sewer line had collapsed in the street. They referred us to Ronan 953. By Saturday late morning we were able to run water again! I don’t know how they managed to get all the permits, police details etc with such a last minute notice on Friday but they made it happen! Thank you to everyone at Ronan 953 for an amazing job from beginning to end !!
