Utility Contractor reviews across the US

Wow!!! You guys look really bad - not sure what the true facts are yet - but if I were you, and if I were being misrepresented - I’d speak up quickly, otherwise, it’s not good!!!

Great company! Ian is great to work with and everything always goes smoothly. Highly recommend them.

Ian and his crew does amazing work for our company. They run any underground utility we need done. Primarily for electrical, gas, and water to residential homes for us.

Ian is the best for all drilling needs! He has helped us on several projects and we will definitely recommend them to everyone we know!

We have worked with Ian and the OMAX team for several years on multiple projects. Very professional and knowledgeable on all aspects of underground construction. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any project big or small.

We used OMAX for an internal slow drain a few months back and Ian was able to break up the blockage. Recently a gutter on our house was backing up into the neighbor's yard. Ian quickly discovered the issue, and his crew replaced the broken pipe in no time. Professional, prompt, and left the work area clean. We would recommend OMAX for residential work as well.

Ian with Omax was wonderful to deal with. He communicated great, was on time and got the plugged drain unclogged quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to call him again if I ever had any other issues he could handle.

We used Ian's company to install a water service after our old line started leaking past the curb box. They finished the project when he said they would and they did great clean work. I highly recommend this company.

Ian was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond from start to finish, providing incredible service and extremely high-quality work. It’s rare to find someone this responsive, honest, and detail-oriented. He made the entire process smooth and handled everything with real professionalism. I Highly recommend Ian and the OMax team.

Awesome job today. Enjoyed watching this crew. Very professional. Gave a shout out on social media as well.

Best people to work with

Best utility contractor in tidewater

They treat the employees right.

Awesome people who can be counted on to do things properly!

Great company

Terrible company. They start a job and then stand around all day getting nothing accomplished. And then they don't show up to work for a week leaving the road blocked. This company sucks don't use them

Negligent in removing rocks and debris from their trucks and causing damage to cars on the interstate. Thanks for making me incur costs to repair the damage your company caused. Avoid this company at all costs.

Great company! I hit a pothole on a street that they are working on and it blew my tire. I had the tire replaced and filed a property damage claim with the city. The city passed it off to Tidewater Utility Construction, Inc. Christina, HR, was super helpful and responsive right away. After TUCI received the claim, I was reimbursed within a week. I was really relieved 😅

These guys have been doing construction near HU for over a month. The flaggers are poorly trained and the company has little regard for the safety of drivers. Due to the construction there is only one route in and out of the campus yet the continually block lanes with their equipment and fail to post signs or flaggers. I have seen several near head on collisions because of this. RIDICULOUS!!!!

If u want some Jerry’s kids to come mess your roads up worst then they are this is the crew. All u have to do is driver down centerville turnpike and see the jack leg work they do by your fillings vibrating out of your head from all the dips and holes. Seriously I think Jerry’s kids would have done a better job.

If these people drive like they work, do not do business with them. A few minutes ago, their driver was so close to my bumper and the car next to me, I thought they were going to hit us! Rushing, inconsideration and disregading personal safety are not what you want in a company!!!
