    ****Temporary Review and Rating as of Early May of 2022 and During The COVID-19 Global Pandemic: I saw a Truck for this Company on St. Barnabas Road while I was in route to IHOP on . Even though I very briefly spoke to the employees in the truck at a Red Light to ask them if they were/are in Google Maps, I will also be calling this Company Very Soon in case I want them to Hire them in the future for Condo Repairs and Upgrades. I will upgrade this Rating and Review and Rating as necessary and as appropriate after I call them.

    Ahmad and team were very quick and were at my home within a day of the incident to remove the drywall and clean up the damages. They came with a group of 6-7 people and were in and out within a day. The group was friendly and efficient. Satisfied with the service they provided. :)

    My team leads were Elvis and Dexter. The whole team was very courteous and extreamly professional. They were very responsive to my call even over the weekend and went above and beyond what I expected them to do for the job. My home was left cleaner then it was when they got there and they walked me through each step of the process so I understood exactly what was happening. I can't recomend this company enough.

    Came back from vacation to a flooded basement. Made a phone call at 1am, and they arrived within hours. The response, care, and service was definitely 5 star. I’d suggest them to anyone I care about.

    They started out great..repeated lack of communication made me contract the repair work elsewhere.

    Acceptable quality of work; the workers were hired by our insurance company after our basement flooded 2.5 weeks after we moved in. My complaint and reason for the 2 stars are thus: a complete lack of communication. They didn’t communicate any of their process and just went to work. I was home ill the afternoon they were removing drywall and flooring and I began to smell a strong odor in the house. They sprayed some antimicrobial stuff without warning. Being pregnant, this is unacceptable. I inquired about the rest of the process and was told they were coming back to fog another antimicrobial solution. I had to ask what was exactly in this solution. After some research I decided I was ok with this step. My husband asked if our belongings in the basement needed to be moved prior. The response was no; the only thing that couldn’t be exposed was food. Well, now all of our belongings that were down there, to include bedding; baby bedding; and antique family photos and the entire floor are all covered with a white film (probably some mix of spray/fog and drywall dust - their shop vac didn’t seem to have a filter). I am absolutely livid with the lack of communication and transparency.

    Update: I was expecting a bill or phone call to pay the balance. Imagine my surprise when my bank notified me of a charge to my credit card. We asked very specifically what would be charged to that card and the workers said that was solely to cover any loss or damage the fans and equipment left in the house. We were never told that card would be charged for the balance or charged without warning.

    Roof was damaged by a wind storm and we needed a tarp to be put on. Insurance company brought in Flood Tech 3 to handle the job and they were professional and very detailed. Spent good amount of time removing branches and nailing the tarp down. Great job...

    We had a roof leak, one side of our entire house experienced significant water and mold damage. FloodTech3 did amazing work at our home as an amazing one-stop-shop, and treated us like family. They were able to:

    1. finish the major mold and water damage remediation problem;

    2. repair the damage from the demolition and restore the house to its original condition, and do additional upgrade projects to improve our home;

    3. we could trust them with the keys to our house and be away at work during the day while they did all this work.

    They are also able to provide amazing problem solving skills. Over the years, our house had numerous issues that we paid several companies hundreds of dollars to fix. Peter, from FloodTech3, took the time to walk through each of these issues and found the root cause of the problems so they could be solved once and for all. This problem solving left us with incredible peace of mind. They are definitely our new go-to company.

    Additionally, the sub-contractors that FloodTech brought in for our old carpeting with waterproof luxury vinyl flooring, refurbishing our kitchen with a new backsplash and sanded and repainted cabinets, a new sink and vanity in the bathroom, new lighting, retiled shower, shelving for better space management, repainted walls, and an expanded and rebuilt closet -- J Santos Inc (Jorge), the lead subcontractor, are an amazing crew who became a part of our family.

    I highly recommend FloodTech3 and J Santos Inc for all your mold remediation, rebuild, home improvement needs.

    I do not have enough accolades in my vocabulary to describe what a great experience we had with Flood Tech 3. We experienced a sewage backup which impacted our lives for 2 months; a total of 3 backups in a 6 week period. It took several plumbing companies to discover the source of the problem. Every time we had a new backup, Montie and his team were here within an hour to sanitize, cut out carpet, put
    out drying fans and air cleaner. At long last, we feel the problem has been rectified and our basement (The Pit) as we call it has been laid with new carpet, painted and cleaned up beautifully. I would never use another company for this type of issue.
    Also found out recently that they do all home repairs as well and we will be having them back to help with a few fix-it items.

    Woke up at 4am to a leak. Called insurance and they connected me with Flood Tech 3. Peter was friendly, courteous and empathetic when we spoke at 5am. He said Monte and Dexter would arrive around 10 and they did. Monte listened to what happened and what I had done. The two of them assessed the situation and got to work. They explained what they found, the remediation plan, the paperwork, and finished the work quickly and efficiently. While it was just day 1 (of 3-5) it was as good of an experience as I could have hoped for.

    Less than positive experience with Flood Tech 3. The staff was courteous and friendly during every visit, but overall professionalism and consideration of the customer was lacking. First visit was excellent, but went downhill quickly. Scheduled equipment pickup window, and they showed up 3 hours late and determined additional time was needed. Second pickup was to be the next day (Friday) the office called and said they'd pick up Monday, 4 days later. After I refused, pick up was scheduled Saturday between 12-2pm. We received a call at 9:15am saying they'd be there in 45 minutes. Not exactly in the window and we had to change plans to accommodate their schedule. Also, the kick plate from our cabinets was removed for drying and not left which resulted in another repair and additional expense. Highly recommend using someone else.

    When we made our initial call to Flood tech, a team of people arrived at different times, in total I believe there were 7 men. They introduced themselves and seemed professional enough. Some were checking on others and I think some were watching to learn. They cut out carpeting and ceiling drywall and set up dehumidifiers and fans. They spent quite sometime at our house. It seemed odd that there were so many men for the small job. We have had water damage before but received 2-3 guys food. The level of attention quickly diminished from that point on. One person arrived at our house to pick up the fans and dehumidifiers a few days later. He told us that they needed to be turned back on, things weren’t dry enough. He left and we began running the fans and dehumidifiers again. About 30 minutes later there was a ring at the door, he was back without any notice to collect the fans and dehumidifiers. He said he was told that the numbers were good enough to remove the machines. Why would you send a person to check levels and remove machines who doesn’t know what the levels should be? Or did FloodTech just want to move onto the next home to make more money?What if we weren’t home? We never received a call to ask to return to the house. Either way, not impressed. All of this happened during the week of Christmas/ New Years while we had family staying with us. Our primary focus was on stopping the leak and returning the wet materials to a safe mold free state while also keeping many small children out of the affected areas. I wish that I had taken the time to check the room where FloodTech cut out drywall before the materials were collected. I was caught off guard by them returning unannounced. We found a huge mess of drywall covering the room where FloodTech cut out our ceiling. The dust and large particles were everywhere, all over the floor, mantle, stuck in our vents, and wedged between hardwood floorboards. The entire hardwood floor has a white film which might be from the drywall or the spray they used to prevent mold. We have a small child with lung and breathing issues I contacted our insurance adjuster to communicate the issue but had to clean up the mess all day Saturday, myself. We were told that we could contact FloodTech to come clean the area but someone just showed up at our door Monday evening without a call or scheduling anything. I don’t appreciate the lack of communication or respect of time and boundaries. As a mother with small children I would like to schedule a mutually agreed upon time. The random showing up demonstrates a lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. I should also mention that the first time the Flood tech person “cleaned” the room, he used our broom from our dirty garage without asking. It’s not something I would want used inside our home and it definitely wasn’t suitable for the amount of drywall dust and particles that was left everywhere. I would like to speak to someone about what the cleanup entails before they just send someone to our home unannounced. I let the FloodTech service person know that it wasn’t a good time. I said I would like to schedule a time. He responded that he would be back tomorrow. Again I treated I would like to schedule a time. We have jobs and schedules to consider. If we have water damage again, I will be doing research to see what other options we have for remediation/ cleanup. We used this company because our insurance suggested them and that made it an easy call at a time when we needed a timely response.
