The whole process start to finish working with AG was less than 24 hours from looking them up online, reading the rave reviews, scheduling a non emergency appointment for the next morning and condensing a few hours worth of work into a super quick and well done job. Benny A. and his other partner were professional, kind and honest with me about everything for the (short!) time there were here. My power went out in the middle of a snow event. Fast and easy scheduling. Once I had paid the $149 consultation fee, nice technicians led by Jacob C. arrived same day and communicated their arrival time clearly. They wore booties over their shoes inside my place each time they entered. Were able to diagnose the issue quickly, and communicated with me the solution, plus exact cost for fixing it. They drove to pick up the part needed and then fixed the issue completely. Left everything clean and tidy.

Matt and Jon were wonderful! My power panel went partially out on a below freezing night in January and they were here the next day! Jon removed the old panel and Matt installed the new one. They even labeled the circuits with care so I know exactly what each breaker controls. They didn’t sell me anything I didn’t need but made sure I was up to code. Matt patiently answered all my questions and Jon kept me updated on the progress on the installation. The work took 1 day and they cleaned up and vacuumed afterwards. I appreciate their expertise and kindness. I would recommend in a heartbeat!

Matt immediately diagnosed our electric problem, fixed it and then went above and beyond by touching up some extra electrical items that the previous homeowners left unattended. His communication skills detailing what was wrong and recommended actions made us feel comfortable knowing we were in the right hands. We lost power in our kitchen, and coincidentally, our furnace went out at the same time. I called for same day (emergency) service, as we were getting snow in the afternoon. Ben and Lenny were at my house within an hour. They were super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They were able to fix both issues the same day. We are so incredibly grateful for the prompt and wonderful service.

Great company albeit a little on the expensive side. However, I did ask for after hour service. The person over the phone told me the cost and I accepted it. Matt, the technician was very professional and courteous. He also made sure that we were satisfied with his job before he left and said to give AG a call again if we need them to come out.

AG Electrical Services was able to get the job I needed done fast and efficiently. I requested fan installation some box setups and they were able to come out 48 hours after I called. The team was very clean and responsive and had the upmost respect for my place. They kept me updated on the process and showed me what they were doing. VERY GOOD! I had AG services come out to diagnose my older AC system, and they gave me many options for the fix. I decided to replace it, despite the many challenges of my older home in Alexandria, the installation went very smooth. They use high quality equipment, and we decided to go with American Standard. Their team was clean, professional, and detail oriented. At the end they walked me through their testing process to ensure everything was running properly. My family and I were very happy with their work.

Just had an excellent experience with AG Services of Alexandria, VA. My job was a difficult diagnosis and Jon and Nick went through all the possibilities in a professional and methodical manner. They kept me informed every step of the way. When the problem was identified they gave me an "up-front pricing" for my authorization. This was a difficult job and I think the charge was fair. They were very considerate of my property and finished the job with perfect results. I will use this company again, especially if Jon and Nick come to do the work.

Benny Agee and Niko from AG Electrical Services recently changed out our old and obsolete electric meter and fuse panel. The last time our home’s electric meter was ever serviced or replaced was back in the 1960’s (history not fully referenced) and it was time for an upgrade. The cables leading to the house were also in need of repair and replacement and the electrical company here in Arlington stated that they cannot replace the wires until a 200 Amp meter, wires, and panel are installed.

Curious as to why this was the case, I contacted AG Electrical Services to walk me through the process of changing the meter, wires, and fuse panel. They quickly dispatched an electrician that was in our area. Benny walked me and my wife through the whole process and provided us a quick quote.

Benny and Niko arrived promptly on the scheduled date and were able to complete the entire work in under 7 hours. They were both extremely professional and courteous. The quality of the work performed was superb and topnotch! I am deeply thankful for the services they provided us.

Jacob was fantastic- knowledgeable, punctual, and extremely easy to work with. When issues arose (unexpected 2x4s in the wall, for example) he consulted with me and offered solutions. Also, he was just a great guy. Will definitely use this firm again.

AG promptly responded to an emergency call late on a winter evening when we lost our lights and heat. It turned out to be a difficult job involving many areas of the house and coordination with the power company. AG worked hard to take care of it all- it was completed as smoothly and quickly as possible. They also provided guidance and documentation when we reported the issue to our insurance company, so we were able to get our money back. We were really happy with the service, and will definitely use them again in the future.
