Julio was great. We had an electrical issue. Half the house did not have power and one of the main 120 incoming line blew out. He quickly was able to troubleshoot and recommended replacing the electric panel as it was ~34 years old and the parts to repair was not easily available. He did the job next day by accommodating us and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend Julio Moran and hire him for future electric work. Communication was easy and he was very prompt in responding.

JM & Sons switched our system from fuse box to circuit breaker a year or so ago, and did a great job. So we went to them first when we needed a repair. Julio came out the same day and took care of the problem quickly. Happy to recommend them.

Julio and his team replaced every outlet in my new home. He communicates clearly and is always responsive on text to any issues or changes that arise. Hope I won’t need in an emergency, but glad to know I have someone to call if I need. Highly recommend!

Julio was very helpful. We called with an emergency on a Sunday evening and he got back to us pretty quickly and he easily diagnosed the problem via phone. He said he would have come out that evening, but didn’t have the correct part in hand and needed to pick it up from an electric supplier or warehouse in the morning. Julio and his guys are great! Over the years they have installed ceiling lights and fixed outlets for us. They just rewired a bathroom we remodeled. They are responsive when we need them and they do high quality work that is safe and reasonably priced. They are the only electricians we use now.

Communication was great and his rapid response to help sort our electrical issue was unreal! Although I wasted his time
(turns out I have switches that turn my outlets on/off)

After a week of trying to figure out why my dryer wasn’t working, I finally learned it was a bad circuit breaker, and I needed it fixed last-minute so my dryer would work for a scheduled vent cleaning. I called JM & Sons, and the owner, Julio, came out ASAP.

Julio was so responsive! I heard back promptly after submitting a request via the website and he came out to the house a couple days later to review our project: replacing (very old!) undercabinet lights in our kitchen. After reviewing the project, Julio said he could get the lights and have his colleague David come back that afternoon to install. It was great to get the project done in one day - and we are VERY happy with the results! I don't think it was a terribly complicated project ... but certainly not something me or my husband could do on our own. Julio & team did a great job! Highly recommend!

This is a great electrical supples store, I visited several electric supplies stores in Alexandria looking for supplies for a project and the customer service at most of them was very poor. The attendant at City Electric was great and they had exactly what I was looking for.

Tommy was super helpful! He vectored me in when Google Maps couldn’t locate the store. He listened to what I needed and identified the part I needed from a photo I took. Tommy told me they didn’t carry that part and referred me to a competitor who might be able to help. I truly appreciated his helpfulness and honesty!

Unironically the best experience I've ever had. I'm a first time homeowner and new to the area, and Jacob was not only kind and extremely thorough with explaining everything, and honest about what needed to be fixed versus what could wait, but he was also super excited to share details of the area and recommendations about attractions to check out! He fixed my electrical issue quickly, went out of his way to look at another area of concern and went above and beyond in terms of being professional, thorough, and kind.
