The Maids are great! I have used their service in Old Town Alexandria for 7 years. they are dependable, perfect service. sometimes I have to change my schedule due to travel. they are flexible. they remind me each week they come. I work out of my home and when they come they are respectful of my office and my dogs. The same team comes each week. and they are extremely careful with my antiques and valuable furniture. I highly recommend the Maids.

We’ve used The Maids for our house cleaning for many years, and have always been pleased with every aspect of their work.

We have been with The Maids of Alexandria for nearly 7 years and we love them. The free time we gain back is pennies on the hour and the teams have done a fantastic job over the years. Would particularly like to recommend the Red Team if available as we have seen the quality of their work as noteworthy over the years and we have had several teams since we started. The Red Team is fast to clean, friendly, they do an outstanding job of cleaning and all of them are incredibly hard working and friendly.

My kitchen has been under construction for a month and a half. The team came in today though and did a fantastic Job. The whole house is Thoroughly clean!!

This service stole an entire bottle of oxycodone I had hidden in a dresser when they did their first cleaning my apartment. Filed a police report but nothing happened. Do not hire this service. If you have any sort of valuables in the home, secure them before having these thieves come. Company did not believe me and did nothing to rectify the situation.

I highly recommend hiring them! They all do a fantastic great job, especially Daniel and Jessica!!! Those two are extra amazing! The whole team seek to go extra miles, have positive friendly attitudes and truly strive to ensure everything is perfect! They ask questions, take in suggestions graciously and always have smiles on their faces. They show up and get right to work with their team. I'm very happy with everything, from their customer service, professionalism and attention to detail to their incredible upbeat energizing attitudes. The Maids make my days and house brighter! Highly recommend!

My brother had been ill for a long time and unable to care for his home. It was an awful mess. The Maids were amazing and now he can come home from the hospital to a clean apartment. They did a great job!

I had an amazing experience with The Maids, they showed up and got the whole place cleaned and they did it in an amazingly shot amount of time. My place is spotless and they were super quick and professional. I highly recommend them!

I have used them in two different areas of VA. Each time I was very pleased. I used them biweekly to clean because I cannot clean like I used to do to an injury. They do a wonderful job. I stopped to catch up on some financial issues and now thankfully I'm back. I am better physically but still cannot clean like I used to and today The Maids cleaned better than I have in a very long time. Not a spot of dust anywhere and the refrigerator cleaned as well. We have been using The Maids services for 20 years in Arlington and they have been doing an excellent job. At one point we had 4 cats living in our house and they do a thorough vacuuming of the upholstery each visit. We highly recommend them. Jake

Today’s (11/10/25) cleaning service from fantastic! Team #8, Yosselin, Aura and Maria, did a FABULOUS job today with EVERYTHING! I was happy to walk into my home today! Team #6, Angelica, Claudia and Doris are also a FANTASTIC team! Nine times out of Ten we are usually very happy with the service provided by The Maids, and have been for 15’ish years that we’ve had them service our home!! Thank You!!

The Maids were fantastic. They were on time, professional, and did an amazing job deep cleaning our home. They definitely went the extra mile and completed the work we discussed within the estimated timeframe. I am so grateful for their help and I will definitely have them come again. Thank you!

Cannot recommend The Maids enough!!! I requested a quote the week before Thanksgiving, and my house is sparkling clean within 24 hours! Thank you, Robert, for making scheduling and pricing so easy. The ladies were fabulous—fast, thorough, detail oriented, and so kind.

I had a great experience with The Maids! I was hesitant to try them out after having a poor first experience with another cleaning company in the area, but everything was professional from beginning to end. I had a team of 3 ladies who worked fast but were also thorough. I would hire them again if I ever wanted cleaning service again in the future!

We love the Maids! I’ve used them for 3 years and they do an excellent job every time. I like that they come into the house with a team and get the job done well and quickly. I also like that our dispatcher, Robert, is extremely responsive and helps us schedule extra cleanings on occasion if we need them. Highly recommend.

When we returned this morning to our apartment, we were disappointed and dissatisfied with the services received, especially since we gave permission for additional time for our place to be cleaned.

We never expect for things to be pristine or perfect, but there is a level of service we expect, especially for $415 and when they indicated they needed more time, we fully stated they could take whatever time they wanted. As a daughter of a woman who cleaned houses for a living, I value and appreciate the amount of work it takes to do this work. But this job, respectfully, was unacceptable. It seemed rushed and clearly was not checked before leaving.

I also want to acknowledge that places like this focus on quantity and not quality. Our place was not cleaned well AND part of this is due to a tight schedule.

Things that were in plain sight that were not cleaned:
- baseboards in easy to reach spaces that were not cleaned fully (yet in other parts were)
- a sprinkler that was partially cleaned and left with hanging dust
- bathroom areas that are easily accessible but were not cleaned properly
- a lamp shade that is FULLY filled with dust that wasn’t even cleaned
- tub that still had stains
- spots on our floor that were not cleaned
- one of the stems of my plant was broken
- objects in plain site and easy to reach not dusted
- area behind bathroom sink not even touched or cleaned (easy to reach)
- bar stools not even wiped off or touched

We will never use them again nor will we refer them to family or friends. We did send an email within 24 hours of our cleaning time as when we called on a Saturday they were closed. We look forward to this being remedied immediately.

This was my second time using The Maids, and once again, they did not disappoint! Even though this team was different from the one I had in June, the service was just as exceptional. They cleaned the second and third floors along with the basement bathroom, and my home is now absolutely spotless and beautifully organized.

Angelica, the team lead for Team #6, along with Claudia, Norma, and Christina, were amazing! Their professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency truly stood out. They came in, divided the work, and completely transformed my home. I can finally relax knowing everything was cleaned thoroughly.

I will 100% be using The Maids again and will definitely be requesting this team. If you need a deep clean—especially after hosting guests or returning from a trip—look no further. Highly, highly recommend!

2/23/26:

I continue to be so impressed with The Maids – Team #6! They cleaned every single room in my home with incredible care and attention to detail. I’m especially picky about my kitchen and bathroom, and they truly went above and beyond in those spaces. Everything was left absolutely immaculate — sparkling, fresh, and exactly how I like it.

They even cleaned my refrigerator spotless, which I truly appreciated! Not to say the other rooms weren’t just as well done — the entire house looked amazing — but the extra care in my kitchen and bathroom really stood out to me.

Team #6 did not disappoint! Thank you, Angelica, Erica, and Chisthyna, for taking such great care of my home. I truly appreciate your hard work, professionalism, and consistency. I highly recommend Tye Maids services ( Team #6) to anyone looking for thorough, reliable, and top-quality cleaning service!
