Recently started getting serviced with them and my yard looks BEAUTIFUL!! They are always on time and very consistent with my weekly cuts and weed treatments. My yard in total is about 9800 sqft and they are priced fairly and educated me on the care needed to get the best results. The lines are always satisfying after each cut and the workers are very respectful. Love them & the results!

Alan from Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape plowed out our block on Thursday, the first time we had seen a plow since the storm ended 5 days before. He did an excellent job, despite the hardened ice and frigid conditions. Alan was also compassionate, helping to reduce the burden where he could on some members of the community and with a smile on his face. Thanks to Alan for his professionalism and help today. I was a customer of Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape for over four years, and my lawn has never looked worse. Year after year I raised concerns, and year after year Grant fed me the same excuse: “It was a bad summer, you just need aeration and seeding.” Meanwhile, my neighbors who never spent a dime on professional lawn care had far better results than I ever got from Kingstowne.

When I finally had enough and canceled, I was handed off to Josh Gwilliam, whose response was nothing but canned excuses about “historic droughts” and how a brown, straw-colored lawn was somehow proof that their treatments were “beneficial.” That’s absurd, and frankly insulting. I was paying for results, not excuses and lectures.

Josh and Grant clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction. The owner wouldn’t even bother to speak with me directly — which says everything you need to know about how this company values its clients. After four years of loyalty, I was treated as if my business didn’t matter at all.

I will also be making sure my entire HOA is aware of my experience. People in my neighborhood deserve to know that Kingstowne will happily take your money while your lawn declines and then blame the weather.

If you value your money and your yard, avoid Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape at all costs.

I would like to thank this snowplow operator and the company for their help today. My car was completely iced in from plowed and refrozen snow, and he kindly took the time to break up the ice around the front and back so I could get out safely.
This was on Julian Street in Springfield around 11:00 AM. He was professional, patient, and very considerate. I truly appreciated the help, as it made a difficult situation much easier. I would recommend this company for their care and professionalism.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Blue Ridge Lawn Care Services for some much-needed garden maintenance, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Joe, the owner, was incredibly responsive and full of great suggestions that truly transformed our space. The team expertly trimmed the myrtle that was encroaching on our house, split and neatly rearranged our spider grass from three clusters into six, and installed a new weed barrier that's already making a difference. They also removed the old lava rocks and relocated our day lily to a spot where it can thrive. His team has worked wonders on our yard with clean-up of overgrown beds, general monthly maintenance, and planting hedges and trees. I am a new customer and had my first service done last week. Other than the language barrier with one of the workers, my yard looks phenomenal. So far, I've had lawn weed and fertilizer treatment, weeding, edging and mulching, and fertilizing of my flower beds. My neighbors are even asking who I used and I have told them. I'm happy!

Update: I have since fired this company. They can't seem to schedule properly (e.g., mowing every two weeks), they don't do what they say they will (i.e., still waiting on a promised credit since March for a bag removal cost), and still waiting on a corrected invoice for almost a month.

We've been thoroughly impressed with Blue Ridge Lawn Care Services. Joe and his team provide high-quality services and are professional, reliable, and communicative! We researched and spoke to a bunch of companies after purchasing our home in Villamay, and plan to use Blue Ridge for all of our lawn care needs going forward.

We've been working with Blue Ridge for about a month now. We started with lawn mowing and have also had them do some yard work. We've been very pleased with the services. They are very precise when cutting the grass and the lawn looks fabulous when they are done. We were very pleased with the yardwork -- mulching and filling large holes in the yard -- as well as pressure-washing our patio.

Joe, the owner, offered a solution for filling the holes that was much better than another company suggested (digging up the sod and filling the hole with soil and replacing the sod on top vs. putting soil on top of the hole and planting seed).

When we had questions about the work that was done (some components appeared to be missed), Joe called and came out personally to make sure that the problem was fixed in quick fashion.

We will definitely continue to use Blue Ridge for landscaping needs and will recommend them to others.
