I recently had the pleasure of working with Blue Ridge Lawn Care Services, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Joe, who I believe is the owner, came out personally to assess my property and discuss the work I had in mind. He provided a detailed quote, and we easily negotiated a fair price. The very next day, his team was on-site and worked efficiently to transform my yard. The results are absolutely stunning—it feels like I have a brand-new landscape! Great service from Blue Ridge Landscaping. Initial visit to assess lawn was prompt and informative. We needed a layer of compost covering the entire lawn to begin the process of restoration. The scheduling worked out well. The service was done on time and met all expectations. Highly recommended and will return to Blue Ridge for future needs.

Blue Ridge Lawn Care seServices did a great job fertizing and prepping my lawn for next season. They tailored the service to my lawn's needs and were reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

Second time working with Joe and the team and again they were quick, responsive and very easy to work with and did a great job. Very gentle with my blossoming plants and I feel ready for spring and summer! These photos are from last year but representative of their good work this time.

We have Blue Ridge due our annual lawn service (seeding/aeration ) and saw that they also do power washing and landscaping so Joe did a bid for us . The crew came out a week later and did an excellent job on our front of the house flowers / shrubs and especially great on the house washing . The crew went around at least twice and went above and beyond the scope of the work we had requested . They took care to cover everything and were conscientious about the work . Will definitely reach out to them on future projects .

I can’t recommend Blue Ridge Lawn Care enough! Joe, the owner, has been absolutely wonderful to work with. He personally comes out to discuss any lawn concerns and offers thoughtful, creative solutions. When we moved into our home in Villamay, the yard had a lot of loose gravel and problem areas. Joe came up with ideas I never would’ve thought of, and now our backyard is truly an oasis—we genuinely enjoy spending time outside thanks to his vision and hard work.

One of the things I appreciate most is how honest and responsive Joe is. Unlike our previous landscaping company, which seemed more interested in sticking to a schedule regardless of weather or lawn health, Blue Ridge Landscaping pays close attention to what’s actually going on with the yard. If there’s been a lot of rain, they’ll come by. If it’s been dry and the grass hasn’t grown, they hold off—no unnecessary mowing just for the sake of it.

The mowing service is excellent, and they take care of several lawns in our neighborhood, all of which look fantastic. Joe runs a small, personal business, and it shows in the quality and care he puts into his work.

The Blueridge team was fantastic. They came and did an assessment and a week later were able to get us on the schedule to do our lawn work. Their team was so fast and efficient arriving exactly on time and finishing within less than two hours. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I have been struggling to keep my grass alive for several years and decided it was finally time to call in the professionals. Blue Ridge was fantastic - they came out right away, helped come up with a plan, and placed beautiful sod. The crew was professional, efficient, and attentive to details. They also set me up with a “lawn care plan” for the upcoming year to help keep the lawn happy.

After purchasing a home with a massively overgrown garden and yard, we contacted Blue Ridge to get everything in order. Joe responded quickly, provided detailed quotes, and had team on site in just a few days.

On the day work began, Joe arrived to review the plan in detail and go over everything. The Blue Ridge crew did extensive weeding, pruning and mulching over the course of two days. My wife and I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with the outcome.

We rearranged our schedules to meet them, but they repeatedly never showed up for consultations. Avoid.

Stay away from this company. They did some work for us and we had lots of problem with them. They tell you they do something but they don't and later on they want money for it. Much better companies out there with better reputation. They are not cheap either...

Solid 10/10, would hire again for any hardscaping or landscaping work. Very quick to respond, very efficient and high quality work, I can't wait to make use of our new patio!

Jose runs an outstanding business. Throughout my experience with his company, he impressed me with his professionalism, knowledge,and work ethic. He answered all of my questions promptly. His timeline, communication of progress and any changes to the project were on point. Most importantly, he does amazing work. His team removed old stone pavers from our backyard and poured a concrete slab in our backyard. We love our new outdoor living room. I highly recommend Jose and his team.

Jose and his team at JP Landscaping did a phenomenal job on our yard. Our medium size sod project went completely smoothly and turned our disaster of a backyard – replete with broken glass, weeds with no end, and rocks and clay galore – into a level, polished space that we love to spend time in.

JP Landscaping thoroughly impressed us. Not only was JP Landscaping the only company that would give us a firm date for our install, and contingency dates in the event of inclement weather, but they also showed up on time and prepared for every interaction.

The day our sod was installed, the crew started their day by going to pick up our fresh-that-day sod. They arrived at our house at around 9:30 with a crew of 5 and got right to work. They tilled, leveled, and smoothed the yard, and they had all the sod laid in a matter of hours. The entire crew was polite, professional, and motivated to get the job done to our specifications. Actually, they exceeded our expectations AND had a highly competitive price that made us wish they were our first quote and we could have stopped our search there.

As a side note, Jose worked hard to make sure he EARNED our business. From his professional estimate to getting dirty on the job with his crew, he personally worked to make sure his company shone and met our needs. We were thoroughly impressed by Jose and his company and will definitely use JP Landscaping in the future.

Bottom line: We wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone who needs a yard project undertaken in the DC area. We’ll continue to use this company, and if you do too, you won’t be disappointed!
