Constraction reviews in Arlington, Virginia

Steve from MK Construction was fabulous!
He was professional, caring, and patient.
He did a terrific job adhering tiles to my cabinets and bathtub in 2 bathrooms. Other companies I contacted were a little unsure of how to adhere tiles to my bathtub with a metal layer. Steve had no problem, and I am satisfied.

I’ve had the pleasure for working with MK Concstructions twice and both times I have been very satisfied with the final product. I had them change my small barthroom with shower to a bathroom with a bath and it is exactly as I wanted. I was pleased with their professionalism in keeping with schedule and the finish. When at work we had some changes to do for our small business I knew we wanted them for the job and once again they were great. They gave us suggestions when asked showing how knowledgeable they are and finished in the time frame we needed with was a huge worry at the time. We will definitely recommend them to friend and if any work needed in the futuree they will be our first call

Jorge and his crew were a delight to work with. He was very careful along the way to make sure our bathroom project turned out exactly as expected, and he didn't disappoint.

I honestly felt at the end of the experience like we should pay a little bit more than we had contracted for, something that has never happened to me in my life.

Jorge is great to work with. Very great communicator, on time, responsive, and detail oriented. Very fair pricing. He just completed a small renovation adding dividing a large bedroom into two.

Would hire again!

Jorge completed some repairs in our kitchen, and is fantastic! We had to think creatively about solving a problem and Jorge made it all work seamlessly. We have already asked for him to come back to help with a few more projects. Definitely recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of working with MK Construction & Renovations for a door repair, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. From start to finish, they were the epitome of professionalism. Their expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process.

What truly set M.K. Construction & Renovations apart was their excellent pricing. I had received quotes from several companies, but M.K. Construction & Renovations offered the most competitive rate without compromising on quality. The repair was completed efficiently, and the door and door frame look perfect, as good as new!

I highly recommend M.K Construction & Renovations to anyone in need of home repair services.

MK Construction & Renovation exceeded all my expectations with their outstanding work on my kitchen remodel. From start to finish, their team was professional, meticulous, and dedicated to delivering top-quality results. They transformed my outdated and ugly kitchen, which desperately needed renovation, into a high-quality, elegant space. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are unparalleled, and my new kitchen is both beautiful and functional. Jorge renovated my friend’s bathrooms and I was impressed with his punctuality and work ethic. He is pleasant and reliable. I eventually hired him to do a few repairs at my house and it was a seamless experience. He was punctual, communicated regularly with updates and his prices were fair. I would use him again and highly recommend him.

I recommend with enthusiasm Jorge as contractor for remodeling work. He has remodeled 4 of my bathrooms and was a subcontactor in a total redo of my kitchen. He communicates well, is a hand-on contractor with a very capable team, and delivers the finished room(s) on time. He puts all his effort and energy into ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the results. I thought he was great!

I hired Jorge for several home renovation projects, including renovation and refacing of my fireplace facade, installation of exhaust fans in bathrooms, and extensive painting and drywall work throughout my home. Jorge did a fantastic job, with great attention to detail and care in every aspect of his work. I wholeheartedly recommend him to others and will continue to hire him for future projects.

I recently hired Jorge to renovate my kitchen and sunroom floor and tackle several handyman projects, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the crew was incredibly hard-working, reliable, and trustworthy. The team consistently delivered high-quality work and paid attention to every detail. The crew was dependable, on time, and communicated effectively throughout the process. They answered my questions and concerns honestly, which made the entire experience stress-free. I highly recommend MK Construction & Renovations for any renovation or handyman needs. Their professionalism and dedication to quality truly set them apart!

Just had my kids’ room & bathroom painted and very happy with the result!
Luis also did a gorgeous bathroom remodel for us in 2020 that raised the value of our home. We are so grateful for his high quality work.

I’ve known the owner since before he started the business—very high quality work. He has commercial & residential experience and has worked his way up through humble hard work.
Thank you so much MK Lazarte!

I had the pleasure of working with Jorge and his team on two renovation projects and both times came away impressed! The team was incredibly punctual, communication was excellent, and the quality of their work was top-notch.

The whole team was easy to work with, responsive, and they did great quality work. We were pleased with the outcome! Bathrooms are STUNNING. Highly highly recommend this company
Thank you Jorge.

I would highly recommend MK Construction & Renovations for projects large and small. Very professional crew that were on-time and completed our job quickly and performed quality work. They fixed our hardwood floors that a previous contract installed incorrectly along with a few other items around our home. Quoted price was the price that we were charged. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Jorge and his crew did an amazing job closing our stairway entrance to the basement with drywall and turning it into a closet. They were on time, clean and great attention to detail and quality.

MK Construction is amazing. Jorge is a gifted and higly skilled man with a talented team. And his team is incredibly hardworking and has super high standards. I have used MK four times in less than 3 months. Never once did they disappoint. I highly recommend this company for just about anything your house needs.

I have worked with several different contractors and none of them come close to Jorge. The skill and knowledge is deep but his attitude and personality is just as exceptional. He listens closely and makes very thoughtful decisions based on your instructions. He makes sure the work is done exactly the way you want it.

The work included ceiling moisture restoration, bathroom exhaust fan installation, painting, ceiling fan installment, sump pump water drain, windows sealant. Everything, whether big or small, is met with the same work ethic. No matter the job, he will work to exceed your expectations.

There are general contractors who have skill and no customer service and some who are kind but whose skills are subpar. Mr. Lazarte has committed himself to being one of the best that you have the pleasure of working with and for that I am very grateful.

I was looking for a contractor to redo our bathroom because I wanted to access the full bath from the primary bedroom, not the hallway, so we got rid of the wall that separated them. Now my 1/2 is a full bath. See attached photos.
I found the positively reviewed MK Lazte Contracting on the website Thumbtack. Once I texted them, I was in Jorge's constant care. From estimate to sweeping at the end, he was there for us. He and his team of hard-working and talented professionals created something I was pleased with at a reasonable cost. He constantly kept in contact and texted me back almost immediately whenever I had a question or needed something small done. Based on his great results, I'd highly recommend him for any project you may have. Even if you're just pondering something, it might be fun just to have him visit and let you know what would be possible and how much it might cost!

Jorge and team are awesome, they are punctual, polite, and clean. Jorge’s attention to detail is great and he made suggestion for improvement to our place that we wouldn’t have thought of. We also used them to install brick in our front yard. Here are photos of the mini kitchen addition and new front yard. Highly recommend Jorge for your next project.

Jorge was so great to work with. He and his team remodeled our bathroom and they were super professional (clean!), very polite and the bathroom ended up amazing. They do great work, I highly recommend.

I needed some electrical, plumbing, and drywall work, so I hired Jorge from MK Construction & Renovations. I'm happy to say that he was a great choice. Jorge is extremely knowledgeable and always made sure to be on time and do a perfect job. During the project, we had an issue with our water heater, but Jorge was able to replace it the very next day, which was a huge help.

I cannot recommend MK Construction & Renovations highly enough. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, and high-quality construction and renovation company, look no further than MK Construction & Renovations. They truly deliver on their promise of excellence.
