Legacy came to my house to fix a problem with my A.C a couple months ago, after three visits and being charged for wrong items being fixed I went with a different company. Do yourselves a favor and do not make the mistake I made.

Milyan was an amazing tech who explained what was going on. He showed up on time and was extremely helpful and courteous when moving around my house. He bought all the necessary tools he needed and cleaned up when finished.
I wish all companies had techs like Milyan. A+. -
Scheduled an appointment with Legacy Home Comfort to have my gas fireplace repaired. I took the morning off work and waited but no one showed up. When I tried to call, the voicemail was full and I couldn’t leave a message. I tried to use their online chat on the website but there was no response. Don’t waste your time with this unprofessional company.

Contacted Legacy Home Comfort on September 28th, 2020 in the morning and spoke with Eddie Bisic for a yearly preventative maintenance on HVAC. Mr. Bisic scheduled me for the next day and said that his technician Ivan Weljkoic would be doing the work and that he would call me in the morning to give me the time window of four hours. The next day came and no one reached nor did they have the curtesy to reach out and provide an update. I had to call them directly and when I finally reached him midday and inquire when they were coming, Mr. Bisic stated that his technician worked this morning and then went home sick for the rest of the afternoon. As this was not professional what so ever. I gave Mr. Bisic the benefit of the doubt because I had utilized his service in a previous year. Mr. Bisic then said we can schedule for another day stating that he would call me on Monday October 5th to let me know what time would be available for Tuesday October 6th. Again Monday came and went and Mr. Bisic did not call but, rather I left him a voicemail on Monday evening inquiring on when would be the time window for Tuesday October 6th. Tuesday morning, I faced calling again. After several phone calls into Mr. Bisic the third phone call into Mr. Bisic was answered. I stated whom I was and he began to address me thinking I was someone else. After clarifying with him that he had me confused with another customer. Mr. Bisic then discussed that he would need to see when his technician Ivan Weljkoic would available. This was so unprofessional. This was not nice or even acceptable on any level. Dismissing that he had already done this to me twice. I then spoke very frankly with Mr. Bisic and said that he has already scheduled me twice and not kept the promise to two already scheduled days. Alternating my schedule to a accommodate the two service days twice now. It was unfair and not ethical. Mr. Bisic did not extend any apologies or work towards making things right. He simply stated if you don’t like my work you can go with someone else and then hung up the phone. This was so absurd! I did not do anything to have this man behave as such. It is logical that someone would inquire if he would keep his commitment to a day scheduled as he had demonstrated on two different occasion, he didn’t FYI, Mr. Bisic in order to keep a great business running it starts at the very beginning were you interact with your customers with great regards and keep your word towards what you say and follow through with keeping your scheduled appointments. This is the right thing to do.
Mr. Bisic your conduct was truly unacceptable
and you displayed unprofessionalism toward your customer and your business operations. Mr. Bisic you are 100 percent in the wrong in all aspects of this interaction with your customer and for this I will indeed seek service elsewhere. Thank you -
Excellent service. They went the extra distance in my condominium building , to give me the service that I required. Very pleased and highly recommend their professionalism. As is always the case with good people, they were very busy that day and I had to wait a little longer, but when you get full and complete thoughtful attention the wait is well worth it.

Ivan and crew made sure to keep me informed throughout the job and assured me he would have new part installed in AC just in time for closing my home sale. He sure delivered. Thanks Legacy!

Gus was punctual, clean, quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I ask a lot of question on what he was looking at and he answered all of them. He showed up and was more than tolerant of our curious dog. And most importantly, after two hours he was able to diagnose and fix our gas fireplace - as well as clean and reassemble the whole thing. Would highly recommend.

This Legacy repair man, he did not take the time to look at anything. He asked me what was wrong and needed to be fixed. I explained to him the HVAC unit was operating just fine, but that there was not sufficient air coming out of the vents in the bedroom. The guy from Legacy did not look at anything - he simply stated that since the HVAC unit was operating just fine, there was nothing he could do under the warranty since the problem appeared to be a design problem and not a mechanical problem. However, I got three other contractors who ACTUALLY inspected the system and recommended multiple ways to improve/fix the A/C unit. What a waste of time money and energy!!

The people there are rude, it took them a long time to send someone over, and he misdiagnosed the issue. When I called for home to come back, they refused to send him back out which resulted in the home warranty company to call a different company. These people are terrible. I would definitely not recommend them!

Our house was freezing, and with two little girls out of school due the first snow of the year, the day was not going well. Ivan, the technician from our home warranty ( Legacy Home Commfort),arrived an hour later than I was told, but with the weather I was glad that someone even showed up. Ivan was very respectful. He entered our house with protective shoes and kept the work area very clean. He was able to diagnose the problem with my furnace, had all the necessary parts in his van, and had the furnace up and running in less than an hour. Our house is getting warmer and it's nice to see that people are willing to do jobs in this kind of weather.
Thank you Ivan and Legacy Home Comfort -
Dishonest and incompetent. The first time they came, they said I had a wiring problem. They attempted to fix it. I paid them $180. It turned out that they didn't fix it. They then came back, said that the thermostat was broken, and that I needed a new one. So I called another company and found out that the thermostat was not broken, the issue was indeed the wiring, and got it corrected."

Our home warranty company assigned this company. They were terrible to work with. Poor service, rude, technicians misdiagnosed the issue, resulting in several additional trips to the house. Recently found out the part they installed months ago was wrong, they are refusing to fix it. Do not use this company if you want correct and accurate work done.

On August 21, 2019 our air conditioner stopped working and I called our HMS warranty. HMS sent a technician from Legacy Home Comfort. The technician came the next day and asked for the deductible and said he couldn’t do anything without it, so we paid him the $100.00 decutable. He then proceeded to open the air conditioner and left pieces on the ground ( picture attached). Then shortly after he left and when I asked him if it was fixed, he told me the fan does not work. I asked when he would fix it and he told me it needs a part and your home warranty should provided the part. I asked when would this happen, and he said he doesn’t know and I should call and ask my warranty company. I asked him for a receipt for the deductible that I paid and also the report of what the problem is with the air conditioner, he said he couldn’t give me one. I do not recall the technicians name, but I recall he was in a rush. He didn’t want to answer any questions.
So the following day, on Friday August 23 I called HMS and a representative named Fernando told me that a report was not sent to HMS and Fernando does not know what is going on. I explained to him that the house is incredibly hot and we can’t stand the heat. Fernando told me he could not do anything because the Technician did not submit anything.
A week after I called, a guy answered his name was Eric! he said he will send another technician to closeup the AC but no one showed up!
It's very hazardous leaving the Hvac system opened like that! It's been more than two weeks now and no one came back to close it up!
I called twice and my home warranty called 3 times . we keep getting the same reply that some one is coming but no one comes!
BE WARE of this company! DO NOT Deal with them! -
Even though the tech today was able to complete the job and was able to explain everything in detail. In general I believe it took the company to long to complete the job. The first tech that came out should have been able to notice that the outside unit also had problems. Thanks to mother nature that it was not very hot outside during the last days that we were waiting, because if not it would have been miserably for my husband and I waiting for the ac to be repaired .

Horrible service, wish there is an option for no stars. They came to replace my AC/heater. Took three and a half weeks To get the part and install. I understand not having the part was out of their control. But they never called with a follow up or got a tracking number. My wife and I had to push for it. Within a week my AC unit went out. Keep in mind I have 2 small kids. So we went back to the house being 100 degrees. It was covered under warranty but they still charged us a deductible stating it’s non covered fees but we had already paid those fees. They will not pick up my calls. I have been calling four days straight. Now my AC won’t turn off and my house is sitting at 58 degrees and now my heater does not work. They are unprofessional and they will not return your phone calls.

This company was sent to me through HMS home warranty to fix my furnace. Although I can't say anything good about HMS home warranty, I was very pleased with Legacy Home Comfort. Ivan was my technician. He took the time to tell me exactly what the problem was and explained what I needed to do to fix it. Even though he didn't come for my gas fireplace he started it for me and showed me how to start it when I turn it off again. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Please save yourself a headache and do not contact this business for HVAC repair services. I was referred to the though my CINCH home warranty to diagnose and fix a heat pump that was not working in my attic. Their technician spent over 3 hours diagnosing the system. After about 2.5 hours I asked what the problem was. I was told that the system did not have a charge, but that he couldn’t find where the leak was. I was told that the system needed to be replaced by the warranty company. He then went back to the attic to look at the A coil again and came back down saying he thinks he found a small leak that was old. I asked for a report upon his leaving and was told that it gets sent to the home warranty company. None of this sounded right because the system had been functioning the previous week. I got an email later that evening that the claim was denied because Legacy Home Comfort said that there were 2 large holes in the A coil and in CINCH’s estimation it had to be pre-existing. I was understandably angry and could get no further information from Legacy Home Comfort. I decided to get a second opinion from the HVAC company that serviced my previous home. Within 30 minutes they found that the Schreider valve on the compressor had catastrophically failed releasing the refrigerant. Within an hour it was replaced, pressure tested, and charged. The system is now working. I contacted CINCH and appealed the denial of my claim and they paid the fee to fix the system and have brought Legacy Home Comfort for internal review. I don’t know if they are incompetent or were just trying to get the fee for installing a new unit, but it was not professional. Do not use this company!

Supremely good, reliable, honest service run by Ivan and his team. I returned from vacation to find my air conditioning went out and they responded to my request for an appointment within a day. He came and spent an hour looking over my 10+year old AC and boiler system and talked me through the likely prognosis of when I would need/want to upgrade things.Excellent job, and excellent price with great communication. This is the type of small family owned business you want to support. Will call them again!

I actually had a wonderful experience. The technician came on time and was extremely helpful. He was able to show me where the issue was and how to take care of the maintenance myself so that it doesn't happen again. He also was able to confirm that the previous company that came out, did not do a good job and pretty much took my money and did nothing. I was very pleased with Legacy. Very informative and professional.

Ivan was INCREDIBLE! Our AC broke yesterday and in this intense heat, it was miserable. We called many HVAC companies in the area but many were delayed and not answering at 7pm at night. We called Legacy Home Comfort and Ivan answered, he calmed us and said he could come to West End area in an hour. He arrived in 35 minutes, fixed our thermostat and AC promptly in 1.5 hours for a really affordable price. Highly recommend this place, great service. Ivan was our hero!

I was in a pinch and found this company and was so impressed. I called after hours and a real person picked up promptly. He was very helpful and professional on the call, and responded on-site within an hour. Prices were extremely fair—hundreds cheaper than a competitor that was trying to take advantage of me before I called this company. The job was finished within 2 hours of me calling for less than half the price of “the other guy”. Highly recommended!!
