In September this company was sent out via American Home Shield. When I called to ask about the $5k worth of uncovered cost and what all work would be done I was told they would send out and invoice. It was never sent. I called both the owner (the number provided) the number provided via his voicemail multiple times. On October 14, three weeks later, the company called me and asked me to accept the cost so they could proceed with repairs. My duct work has been repaired by a company that I had to find own. This company has poor customer service and is non-responsive. Find another company to do your work and if AHS tries to send out request another contractor.

I was extremely happy with the service we received from Chantelle and CasMech. Chantelle notified me that she was running late (because of a lengthy service call) and also when she would be arriving. She was very friendly and helpful. I felt that she was very knowledgeable and would feel very comfortable having this company and her work on our units again. Thank you!

The agent on the phone kept me on the hold most of the time to provide the information on the HVAC issues. The technician was there for only 10min to complete the investigation for the American Home Shield home warranty. As usual, technician wrote the report in favor of Home Warranty Company.

My husband and I had an appointment with CasMech through AHS today. The service was excellent. They were very professional and polite. They gave a diagnosis; did not have a part, left to pick it up. Returned promptly and installed it. At all times our home was treated with respect. They were both professional and knowledgeable.

I worked with Casmech for the first time this week, and was pleasantly surprised. Chantelle was professional, courteous, and informative. We got our Summer Tune Up done and she provided us with more info than we could have even thought to ask for, and was respectful of our home.

I also would like to add that she was extremely patient and respectful to her helper, which isn’t the case in a good majority of trade work. She helped him each step, stepped in as needed, and used each moment as a teaching moment. Very impressed.

Joseph from CasMech Heating & Cooling provided outstanding service when he replaced our compressor on one of the coldest days of the year, right after a major snowstorm that had shut down most of the city. Despite the challenging conditions, he arrived on time, was courteous, and completed the job with exceptional professionalism. He even went the extra mile by offering helpful advice and a cleaning service to ensure our system runs efficiently and effectively. I couldn’t be more impressed with his work and highly recommend Joseph and CasMech Heating & Cooling. A well-deserved 5 stars!

Julian and Michael came through and got the job done. Can't ask for more. They were respectful and gave me clear steps as to what the issue was and it's cause. Showed me the repairs and now my house is cool again

Chantelle and her assistant arrived on time and greeted me with a smile and kindness. She informed me what she was doing and kept me up to date. Great job and system is running well. She cleaned the coils as well were as other companies didn't.

I am very pleased with this company the lady that answers the phone Ms Vera is so kind.
If I had any questions all I had to do was call and she was happy to answer. The young men that showed up were all polite and courteous. The one that fixed my heat pump after the part was ordered was not about to leave till it was done. The Poor guys didn't have lunch till after five.
When I talked to Ms Vera she is so kind and thoughtful and puts your mind at ease.
I wanted to point out there is a reason there is a time window because for example the time to put on the part for my heat pump was designated for two hours but then my heat pump didn't work. The fan worked once the part was put on but there was still a problem that they could not find until the fan worked so therefore there were more hours to find out what the other problem was. Please realize when someone is fixing an appliance you never know what can come up and that is why there's a time window. This company is very busy if you have a question just call them that's what I did and if they don't answer you leave a message they will call you back.
I highly recommend this company. If anything goes wrong with my unit I will ask American home Shield if this company can come back out.

Going through my home warranty AHS, they came out to evaluate rust holes in a heat exchanger. Caused by old age on a 30 year old unit. This would’ve been covered by my warranty, until they said the rust was caused “by pests”. Rust holes at the shaping lines on shaped tubing is a known issue after years.

Lying and fluffing up repair costs to line their own pockets in a parasitic relationship with the warranty company. Avoid Casmech at all costs.

Not to mention they give the “we will be there between 8 am and 3pm” then show up right at the end of the window.

When they were diagnosing they barely even looked, they were ready to just “oh we will have a quote for you for repairs”. They knew their game from the start.

Please avoid this company.

Edit: in response to your very untruthful review. Here’s some science for you:
Rust is caused by water vapor mixing with carbon dioxide (a biproduct of burning natural gases) creating carbonic acid with a Ph of 3-4 which corrodes ferrous metals. Insulation doesn’t stop this process.

If you don’t want to do the job, say so, so you aren’t misleading my warranty company into denying me coverage I pay for.

I highly recommend CasMech Heating & Cooling HVAC company. I have a warranty with American Homeshield, and another HVAC company was sent to me. However, their conduct was somewhat questionable. Consequently, I sought a second opinion. CasMech promptly contacted me to schedule our initial appointment. I am immensely grateful for my decision to choose CasMech. Chantelle and Joe (Little Joe) performed an exceptional job. They were highly informative, knowledgeable, respectful, and transparent. I must say, I was highly impressed with Ms. Chantelle’s expertise.
The issue with my AC was promptly identified and resolved on the same day. I am eager to share my positive experience with my family and friends. My wife Melissa Petry called CasMech to come out and fix our a/c. They were very professional and friendly. They fixed the issue same day. Great local small business taking care of their customer. They also have customer care tips to keep the a/c operating properly. Definitely recommend them for fast and honest service.
