I was referred to G & G Services & Contracting, Inc by a friend to troubleshoot and make necessary repairs to my daughter's fireplace. Mike was pleasant, professional and proficient. He performed the service, ordered and installed a pilot assembly and ensured that everything functioned perfectly before departing. I would recommend G & G Services & Contracting to anyone who would require heating or air conditioning maintenance or services.

I’ve called G and G several times. Two years ago my upstairs unit went out the day I returned from vacation. They fixed it within a few days and we were up and running with a cold A/C. The family owned company is absolutely amazing and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend them to everyone at work, and to anyone looking for a great HVAC company.

I've been using G&G for years and their exceptional competence is matched by their honesty! They repaired for me what another person told me would be a $7000 replacement. Haven't called anyone else since then and have no intention to call anyone else as long as they are in business.

Our hot water heater stopped working and Mr. Glisson was prompt in responding to our call. He had to come out a second time within a few days and he did not charge for the second visit. We now have hot water! He was knowledgeable and courteous.

G&G is professional, fair and incredibly responsive.

After checking several companies, I chose G G services to replace my AC unit because of the recommendations of others in my neighborhood. I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. They communicated promptly and clearly.
A team of three came out at the time they said they would. After observing them for awhile I was totally at ease, knowing I had made a good decision. They were very efficient and worked as and experienced team paying attention to all details, large and small. Their professionalism, knowledge, safety practices, communication, and effort to satisfy the customer is impeccable.

I own 7 houses now Mike and his brother at G and G are the only ones I call. First met them when I needed someone for my office. I was some satisfied with the work and pricing I have never called anyone else !. I have and will call them again and refer them to friends and family . They have always been up front and honest about there work and pricing.

Mike and his colleagues at G&G Services are wonderful to work with. They put in a second HVAC SYSTEM when I added a second story to my ranch house 20 years ago, which still works great, and I have used them to maintain that system and the first floor system ever since. They have always been responsive when there's an HVAC issue, and they are an honest and reasonable small local family business.

G & G Services have been the most professional contractor that the church has ever utilized. Knowledge of a myriad of technologies, quick and courteous manners, always arriving within 24 hours of call. Have purchased multiple HVAC units from them in the past 20 years. Awesome folks! G&G gives great service at a fair price. I got to know Mike & Doug about 4yrs ago and have been using them ever since! They are both honest and upfront which now days is hard to find. It’s nice to still be able to call a company and get a family feel!!!!!

We were referred to this company after having a bad experience with another one. Our first interaction with G and G was amazing which led us to call them again for a separate issue. However, this time was different. The woman who answers the phone (not sure of her name) severely lacked customer service skills. Every time we have called she has had zero professionalism. We called to make an appointment and she said she would call us later in the day with a date. Two days go by and no call. After we called back to schedule the appointment we asked about what time to expect the technician. She was very rude again. She wrote down the wrong issue we were having which led to the technician performing an unnecessary check and were charged for both. We called and asked for a refund for the unnecessary check and she was rude, yet again, and accused us of having given her the wrong information. Sadly, we won't be calling G and G for future heating and cooling needs due to these interactions with the customer service.

Wonderful, friendly, professional service provided for a complicated new gas fireplace hookup in an existing old setup. Mike and Linda were so patient working with us on this. At several points it appeared impossible (gas lines had been cut). Mike’s expertise was impressive in that he found solutions no matter what wasn’t working. He coordinated for us with Va Beach Gas which was invaluable because we live in Charlottesville. We have signed up for HVAC maintenance and look forward to a continued relationship. I can’t praise them enough!
7/28/23 Maintenance checkup-as usual-great service, great staff! So fortunate to work with them especially since we need to coordinate with multiple owners that stay at the condo. Having a trustworthy team is key!

G & G are the best for A/C service in the hot summer! They are quick to respond and always offer multiple solution options to solve the problem. Have used them for over 35 years in multiple homes. I highly recommend them for heating/AC service.

I had maintenance on my heating system completed and the service was excellent. They arrived on time, were professional, and explained everything that was done. The work was done quickly and I have never experienced a problem with G&G. I would highly recommend using this company..

They will tell you the truth of your situation and the options you may have to repair it, as well as transparent pricing, upfront. The work is of exemplary quality and in no way do they try to “upsell” you items or services you don’t need. They will offer professional suggestions, if requested, and will happily answer any questions you may have. I trust them, and now my elderly parents do too when they need work. I’m grateful to have found them!

Replaced entire HVAC system for which, at least part was over 45 years old, and I can control it off site with my phone.

Was able to get a service appointment for the next Monday afterI called. Mike was extremely courteous and respectful of property, was able to quickly diagnose the problem with my HVAC system and had the part on hand for the repair. I couldn’t have asked for a better service call. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Well after all these years I found my heating and cooling company. They came right when they said and fixed my problem right away. I was expecting a huge bill and all I got was a service call charge because they found the problem right away. Thank you so much Mike.

Mike was awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional. He spent about 2 hours working on my manitowoc ice machine. Taking his time going through the machine until he solved the issues. I hung out with him the entire time and very much enjoyed our conversations. I Highly recommend calling G&G .
