After repeated calls and emails to this Tidewater Mechanical to schedule our pre-paid spring maintenance check, we are unable to get a return call from them to schedule servicing. I’m wondering if they’ve gone out of business and are not fulfilling their customer service contracts.

July, 24, 2021 Update. Tidewater Mechanical contacted us Friday, July 23, and although they are understaffed, they came out today and completed our HVAC maintenance as per our contract. Joe was thorough, explaining procedures and addressed our concerns.

Joe and the crew of Tidewater Mechanical came through when other HVAC technicians could not. An initial fix of our system involved a $15 part, where other contractors quoted us in the hundreds or thousands for a fix. When we ultimately decided to update and expand our HVAC system, we were impressed by the speedy service, involving new air handlers, additional duct work, a larger fan and updates to all the electrical. The work was done for a reasonable price and in just two days in tight quarters. I would highly recommend these guys.

When my AC goes out Kellie is right there talking to me and before I know it Joe is at my house. This is a company that has a heart. They genuinely care about their customers. Joe works very hard fixing your problem AC. Mine is old but he manages to get it up and running. I'm so thankful for that. Most companies wouldn't even try. Joe does. He understands. He is very professional, he will answer your questions and he will explain what he is doing. With this company there are no surprises. As far as I'm concerned Tidewater Mexhanical is the best,honest and caring company around. If your AC is broken don't hesitate to give them a call. I am always telling others about this company. I highly recommend them. If you need your AC fixed give them a call. You will be happy you did.

I purchased a commercial freezer for my family from an online restaurant supplier. (yes I have a big family - 6 boys) After 5 months the freezer began overheating. I called multiple appliance repair businesses and no one was willing to even come and look at it. Tidewater Mechanical came and diagnosed the problem and fixed it in just an hour. Due to the fact that we keep it in the garage a mouse had crawled into it and died. It was obstructing the cooling fan. They only charged me the service call fee. They were professional and a delight to do business with. I will definitely recommend them!

Tidewater Mechanical did a great job installing our new HVAC system. They also repaired and replaced some of our ductwork. It was a huge job and they got it done how we wanted it done for the right price. There were a few snags but Joe personally made sure we were happy with the work.

A year ago our AC. went out. The outside temperatures were hitting in the 100's. I live in a mobile home and the heat was unbearable. It was like sitting in a tin can. We called Tidewater Mechanical LLC. They came right out and in no time my AC was up and running.Now a year later my heat went out. A family member had another company give an estimate on the cost of fixing my heater. The quote was 600.00. For the part and labor plus I was told they would have to have the unit mandatory cleaned. Plus they may have to modify the part to fit my heater. All I could see was dollar signs adding up. I knew at this point it was going to be over 600.00. I couldn't afford that. I was so frustrated and tired of freezing as I have been without heat for several months. Then I decided to call Tidewater Mechanical LLC. Two men came that evening. They were extremely kind and professional. The younger man was the apprentice. He explained everything and answered any questions I had. It turned out I didn't need the part the other company said I needed. Nor did I have to have the unit mandatory cleaned. I needed a different part. In no time I had heat. My electric heat and the heat pump was tested to make sure they were working properly. This company is honest and does not take advantage of you. I highly recommend them. They do very good work. They are highly knowledgeable in their field of expertise. If you need your ac or heater worked on,Tidewater Mechanical is the place to call.

Tidewater Mechanical installed an HVAC unit for us approximately 6 years ago. Functionality and service has been absolutely perfect, until we noticed a bit of an issue yesterday. We contacted the company this morning and they had someone come out just a few hours later! After a thorough inspection, they were able to fix the problem quickly and then took the time to explain not only the issue, but the correction made to ensure it would not be a repeat issue. I HIGHLY recommend this company and will continue to use them in the future!

The Weather Makers, Inc. good experience began with making the semi-annual service appointment with Jessica. She puts the service in customer service, listening to my availability and knowing our usual needs. Austin showed up on time, was respectful and polite, and informed me about what he was doing. He installed a surge protector for the heating system after giving me background information to make the decision. Since he had one in the van, it got done during the same visit.

Daniel was very polite and professional. He listened to me describe the problems I was having, checked everything out and found the problem. Apparently my system had been overcharged from a previous service call which was causing the problems I described. He removed enough coolant to bring the system to proper operating pressure. He stayed until he was sure the system operated correctly. Thanks Daniel, job well done.

Adam was great! Very friendly, personable, and ready to get the job taken care of. He explained our home's heating issue clearly, and even snapped a few photos of our unit on his personal cell phone to further explanation. His professional knowledge was helpful for moving forward and reassured me that his recommendations were on point. Because of Adam's expertise, I know we're in good hands.

Our service technician, Michael, was fantastic. He explained what was he was doing as he went along with our annual maintenance check, and even though our appointment was pushed back to later in the day he took his time and I never felt as though he was rushing to get his day over with. We've been with Weather Makers for quite a long time now, they've always been awesome.

I recieved excellent service. First of all the technician (Austin) was not only on time. He was polite and courteous. He also labeled my unit's damper so I can know how to adjust it in the future.

Quick response time even after hours. Professional. After trying numerous hvac companies and even trying to use my home warranty with no avail I took a chance and went back to the company who put my AC system in my newly built home 5 years ago. They have been awesome. With temps being in upper 90 and knowing they are very busy and a weekend they came out same day. Worked hard found the problem and got me working temporarily until the part came on. Dave did an awesome job. As a heart patient I cannot be in this heat and humidity. Weather Makers was there and made sure I was ok.

Austin came on time for our seasonal maintenance, was very courteous, friendly and professional. He cleaned, checked and serviced our system and explained what he did and the results of his system checking.
Austin found on his inspection some items that need attention and provided explanation and estimate of costs to have them taken care of for best cooling and heating efficiency. All service techs have been courteous and professional and I would highly recommend Weather Makers

Tech was very professional and notified me 1/2 hour out and showed up exactly on schedule. He was very efficient, thorough, and explained the condition of my unit. Would highly recommend whether makers to anyone.

First of all, I want to say Thank-you to Weather Makers for sending Daniel out to fix my AC unit. Daniel was superb when he arrived at my home, I told him what was going on and he said he knew exactly what was wrong with it and he was right cause he had it up and running within 30 minutes. He asked me if I had any questions and told me useful information about my unit. He was the nicest most down to earth guy, I wish there were more techs like him he's amazing. I recently had my a/c serviced for the upcoming season. I was quite impressed with the young man, Austin, who did the work. He called me to say he was on his way and was very knowledgeable and polite with the questions I asked. He did his job in a timely manner.

Very Expensive !! Low diagnostic fee, parts 500% markup, repair is fast and messy. Company was once great and might be better on installation when you can get a quote. notice the cheep damper motor and the wires hanging out! Also the vent pipe is gaping. Total cost over 700 bucks for simple repair on one part repair.

The custom services provided by Weathmakers was top notch! My technician, Austin was informative and detailed about the services provided. I look forward to seeing him again for my before winter weather check.

Our service call was handled perfectly by Austin. He quickly determined the nature and solution to our problem and after thoroughly explaining himself with video and sensor data he installed a new thermostat and left us with a fully functioning AC. Well done!
