Installed new gas hot water heater to include new vent pipe out roof. Excellent service and work performance. Highly recommend for any heating and a/c work. Having a service contract has saved us, we called with a problem and thanks to a cancelation we got scheduled the next day 😀

I had a GREAT experience with G and G!!! This is my first time using this company and I HIGHLY recommend them for all of HVAC NEEDS!!! My heat went out on me. G&G came out the SAME day I called them, troubleshot, and repaired my unit. They researched that my unit was as still under warranty, got the parts for me, fixed, and repaired all within the same day. On top of this, their pricing was VERY RESONABLE!!! Special shout out to RW Hoover, the technician who came out!!! He was very knowledgeable, I never felt that he was trying to “get over on me”, he was very fair, respectful, and straightforward with everything right up front. I will define each out to them for any and all future HVAC NEEDS.

Joe and his team are the best around! He has been working on my units for years and he has always been more than reasonably priced and responds quickly to any repair or emergency!

This is the second time I have had Joe help me. Last year during the hottest time of the year my AC went out and he had it fixed the next day. Not my heat went out and Joe came out the same day and fixed it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else

Very professional job. We were having issue with unit turning on right after it turn off with no heat. Joe came promptly and was able to diagnose the issue and corrected the problem. Nice to have heat again. When having a problem with heat or ac, I know who to call.

Joe did an exceptional job making sure everything was in working order. He went above and beyond to repair as much as he could in his first visit. I'm definitely going to call him again if any other problems arise.

Very slow company that gives the “run around”. When first called they said they’d be there within 4-24 hours and this was on Saturday but didn’t come till Monday because they deemed it not an emergency because outdoor temperatures were not freezing. But my house was 50 degrees with a 1 year old. They came Monday said it needed a part or new system left never heard anything. I called and asked for update and unable to provide one. I called again Tuesday they said they are ordering the part and will take 5-7 business days meanwhile overnight temps are dropping in 20-30 degrees. They called Friday saying the part was there but they can’t come until Tuesday next week. They don’t give you any times when they are coming all they offer is to call you 30 minutes before they come.

So I have been dealing with a condensation issue on my AC ducting that all i could see was water spot on my ceiling downstairs. I have had other HVAC companies out here that literally did nothing except assume. Joe came out and instantly started digging deeper than the rest of the contractors. Went above and beyond the normal helping us with what we needed!!!

We have been using Tidewater Mechanical since we moved here last year. They came out in the middle of a snow storm to restore our heat when no one else would. They always make a point to check in on our new unit and always insure the satisfaction of their customers before leaving the job. Would and have recommend tidewater Mechanical to everyone I know!

I needed a second opinion for my heating system and I decided to give Tidewater Mechanical a call. The first company I had out condemned my system in lamans terms means i wasn't able to use it. They said it had a non-repairable freon leak. My system is only 6 years old!! When the technician, from Tidewater Mechanical showed up
( I believe his name was Josh) he was early, pleasant, professional and you could obviously tell he liked what he does and isnt just there for a paycheck.He asked a few questions and got right to it. He FIXED THE FREON LEAK! $700 dollars and 2 1/2 hrs later the job was complete. The other company quoted me $6000 and offered me a payment plan. I feel because I am a female the companies are always out to get me, but i did not feel this way with Tidewater Mechanical, he actually talked to me in lamans terms (rather then throwing a bunch of technical words that i have no clue what they mean) and i actually understood what he was saying. I'm so glad I found a company with such kind staff that have my families best interest in mind. They have since fixed a bunch of refrigeration at the restaurant my boyfriend works at. I highly recommend this company for your A/C and heating needs.

Signed up for the yearly maintenance plan for my HVAC system. It provides many features and allows for an opportunity for a professional to inspect the system to make sure it’s running at its peak.

Worth every penny!

I would recommend to friend based off of this experience.

They were supposed to fix my A/C system. Came out and said they found and fix a leak without leak testing my system. Few days later my house began overheating again, I found my refrigerant lines frozen which meant my system was low on refrigerant. Hence, they NEVER actually fixed the leak. They came back again filled my unit with refrigerant and said they will be back to nitrogen check it. I called and they claimed they never said that and as a matter of fact they already fixed my unit. I HAVE THE WORKER ON CAMERA STARTING THAT HE WOULD BE BACK TO TEST! WHY IS MY HOUSE 80 degrees!! Be very careful if you are not familiar with HVAC or have no experienced with such. They are lairs and will charge for work they never completed!

Had a claim with home warranty company and although the process with them was very troublesome Joe with Tidewater Mechanical was there to help smooth it out and help navigate the process. Even though it wasn’t his fault he was very apologetic and went above and beyond to make the repairs quickly once the warranty company approved and ordered parts.

Joe called to set up a full install in a short time frame, and was very professional, polite, and courteous. He walked me through all that will take place and what issues may arise. He even offered to have a handyman he trusts accompany him to the first day to give an estimate on other needed repairs to our home. I have been very impressed, and will update after the install.

I had my AC go out which is never pleasant in the summer. Called tidewater mechanical and within a couple of hours Joe was there to help! After further inspection he found an issue that could have easily caused a fire. Thanks to Joe and his attention to detail and expertise he fixed the issue in no time!! He was very friendly and explained what he was doing in detail. I won't be going to anyone else for my HVAC needs!! Thank you Joe!! You are a lifesaver!!
