First time homeowner here. Called for HVAC service and inspection. Our tech was awesome. He was friendly and very helpful, explaining to us all the components and showing us the instruments used and what the readings meant. Will keep Argent in mind when it comes time to replace the system.

Service was for routine maintenance of domestic boiler / heating system. Technician (Cameron) arrived on time, completed checks and Quality Assurance with manager. He was pleasant courteous and respectful of my home. 5 stars

I called Argent on short notice after my furnace stopped working. They sent out an agent the same day, he quickly diagnosed the issue, had the necessary parts, and took care of everything while I waited.

I relied up Argent for a decade. No longer. Avoid them. They were bought out and now "up-sell" outrageously, and are pushy. I hear hedge funds are buying up HVAC companies, seeing prospects for juicy profits. My boiler is only five years old, Argent installed and serviced it regularly, but this year they quoted me over $4,000 -- a quarter of its purchase price - for routine maintenance. When I balked, they offered a "bandaid" repair, suggesting it would be a temporary fix, for $1,799. I got another plumber, recommended by Navien the boiler manufacturer, who serviced it for $448. Shocking and plain greedy

We had a service call for our Heat Pump, that was covered under warranty. Our technician William Lopez was very professional, polite & clearly explained our problem & the repair solution.

On the basis of their excellent work on our quirky hot water system, I called Argent immediately when a pipe broke and made a total mess of the ceiling in our formal dining room. They sent Matias Alvarado who methodically looked for the leak, found it two floors above but was unconvinced it was all of the problem. He was right, fixed both leaks and we discussed the likelihood of more. I met Argent’s CEO who was clearly aware of our needs. Everyone at Argent is like her because of her.

Cameron was an excellent help and very easy to work with! We were opening a new office location and needed some general plumbing done (connecting the bathroom and kitchen faucets, installing the dishwasher and garbage disposal, etc.). He got it done in no time at all, and easily answered any questions we had. Everything is running great and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

William was our service man. In a matter of minutes he solved the issue we had. He demonstrated how to resolve the issue if it happens again. What an incredibly positive experience I recently had with Argent Heating, Cooling and Plumbing when a water heater emergency arose on February 24! My sister suffers from severe psoriasis and must take long daily therapeutic baths. Our 10 year old AO Smith heater went out, with no flashing code light nor hot water. I tried my best to reset the pilot but failed and Argent came to the RESCUE! The staff was excellent and plumber CAMERON COLT was THE BEST. 😀 He went the extra mile to make sure my sister got hot water by later that afternoon, making 3 trips to ensure the repair job was done correctly with the proper replacement parts. 5+ STARS!!

Jose Garcia was great! He was very knowledgeable, helpful and personable. He answered all of my questions and was patient and thorough through the whole process. I like that they work with a supervisor to double check the diagnosis and problem solve together - it gives the customer more confidence in the service.

Kudos to the excellent team at Argent. We worked with William, Miguel, and Johnnie. Argent acted quickly after I called for our failing furnace--one day later. William showed up and provided diagnostic service. He was patient with me as I asked several detailed questions, wanting to understand the mechanics of what was going on (furnace cutting out for various reasons). After going through all of the issues, I decided to replace the 15-year-old York. There was no sales pressure to do this, which I appreciated. The owner indicated that an opening was available the very next day, and if we were ready to act, she would offer a significant discount. I wanted this anyway, so we jumped on it.

We selected a Carrier furnace that was smaller than the York we had, since the York was too large for the space and also for the ducting (causing some of the issues). Miguel showed up the next day, diligently and efficiently preparing the space. When Johnnie showed up soon after, the team got right to the substantive work. The thing that most impressed me is that Johnnie carefully listened to me as I explained some of the issues that we had been having and some of the issues that William had pointed out, a few of which had not been communicated to him. The opening for the ducting had been cut too narrow at the interface between the bottom of the AC evaporator coil and the top of the furnace (the unit blows upward), thus restricting the flow. With the large unit and restricted flow, the York overheated from time to time (in addition to several other issues). Johnnie looked at the interface and identified the flawed, improperly cut, ducting aperture, thanked me for pointing it out, and cut the area to the proper dimensions. Correcting this and then installing the new, smaller Carrier solved everything. The new unit blows air at a higher rate, costs less to operate, and give us peace of mind. Very happy with the quality of the work and the technicians. We will definitely use Argent for our other property.

Argent is great! We made an appointment with them to assess our HVAC system and asked them to provide recommendations on performance and reliability and sensible preventive maintenance options. They were very responsive with scheduling and accommodating our requests. Willians, our tech, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He was able to coordinate a call with the main office to talk through three different options for improving our HVAC system. I’m very happy with the service and will look forward to continuing business with Argent!

Ronan is a great technician. Very knowledgeable and informative. He left no stone unturned while investigating an odor that my wife and I suspected was coming from the heating vents in our bedroom. While he couldn’t isolate the source of the smell (an aerosol smell like faint hairspray) he thoroughly cleaned and serviced our furnace, checked our humidification system, and thoroughly explained everything to me. He told me to call again if the smell got worse and he would immediately come back out. Fortunately, it went away. Thank you Ronan for all the great work!
