I highly recommend Home Service Doctors! We’ve used them multiple times and every time they have done an amazing job. They are always professional, friendly and explain what they are doing. Sidney Janet is a very knowledgeable plumber and can fix complex issues. He’s passionate about his work and does great work with minimal disruption.

We had an emergency leak under a vanity in our bathroom that needed to be fixed same day and they arrived within an hour. Turns out our water heater was 18 years old and they stopped the leak immediately. Sidney Janet and his coworker were awesome! They were both very personable, kind, and replaced our water heater same day. Would definitely recommend Sidney for future work!

Eathan called as he was on his way to our house, put on shoe covers before he entered our house, listened to us describe our issue, and then assessed the issue himself. He was knowledgeable and able to offer up a solution and pricing right on the spot. He communicated approximately how long the job was going to take. Once the job was completed, he walked us through checking our systems to verify it was indeed fixed. He was super friendly and efficient.

Easy to set up appointment next morning for free inspection and estimate. Jeremy, a very well skilled plumber came, checked out the house with all its historic plumbing intricacies of a house from 17th century and basement with unorthodox plumbing through the house. Very reasonable estimate to fix burst basement cold water/hot water pipes and pipes/connections in house bathroom as well after 2 week arctic freeze., no pressure to do work. I said yes and he had all copper parts, pipes and. Connections in his van. Some additional repairs were needed and completed, all with a smile, great explanations and pics…I very much recommend Jeremy and this plumbing service.

Sidney Janet was great! He’s super personable and well spoken. He made sure to explain everything every step of the way and was always transparent about things. This was my first time ever having to call a technician to home, and I’m glad I went with Home Service Doctors. I will 100% ask for Sidney again if I have any future needs.

As a homeowner and landlord, Home Service Doctors is hands-down the best repair/maintenance company I’ve ever used across all major service needs - plumbing, electric, or general contracting. We called Home Service Doctors for a second opinion after receiving an absolutely eye-watering estimate for a main-line snaking from another prominent plumbing company in NoVA (rhymes with Shmayco Shmandrade) and finding an online coupon from Home Service Doctors. They sent someone out within hours and after the initial clearance - at a fraction of the price of the other estimate - I got a call from JP, who diligently walked me through what he identified and how to resolve the problem for the long-term. The approach was so honest and detailed that I felt comfortable moving forward with a larger job - also at a fraction of what had been quoted by another company previously. The work was completed in days - over the Christmas holidays!

Because I was so satisfied with the quality of the work - and really, JP’s friendly and honest communication - I asked them to come back to give us an estimate on another job. Again, JP made recommendations that saved us money, time, and hassle. He made recommendations for two other companies to do work for us that was beyond the scope of what Home Service Doctors provide. Oh, I forgot to mention - we did all of this from thousands of miles and 6 times zones away.

This is a great company with good people. Highly recommend.

Greg did a wonderful job assessing my sudden leak in my laundry room. He was professional and answered all my questions very thoroughly (and I had a lot of questions!). I really felt like the company was committed to helping homeowners make the best decision both for budget and the longevity of their plumbing and HVAC systems. I appreciated the quick turnaround with the work and dispatch. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again!

I had Greg Smoot come to my house to replace my garbage disposal and he did a perfect job. He also pointed out a couple more things in my house that are about to fail which I appreciated since it’s good to know so he gave me a quote for those things as well. He was knowledgeable, efficient and fast with his work and I would recommend him to anyone. Then I had Sydney come over and replaced my water heater and did just as good of a job. Very friendly and taught me a couple things. I’d have them come out again if I have another issue!

Mr. Janet was very thorough, identifying multiple sources for the water leak, to include from the HVAC humidifier. This enabled me to get my HVAC contractor out right away to fix this issue also, before it became a bigger problem.
He thoroughly explained all of the issues and causes for my leak from the plumbing perspective, tested and confirmed his hypothesis, then repaired it efficiently. He also explained some options I had for upgrading my plumbing system.

Sidney Janet was helpful and courteous. He is a very professional and skilled plumber who obviously has a lot of experience. This experience far exceeded any we have had with other plumbers.

I had Home Service Doctor's come over to help repair a broken part the helps secure a new toilet to the floor. The technician/plumber Greg S. did an amazing job of figuring out a way to secure the piece to a cast iron pipe. We weren't sure if he was going to be able to fix it this way, but he was able to do it. Thanks again Greg for the amazing job you did. Greg is very nice, patient, nice personality and takes the time to answer any questions you might have.

They were responsive, came out same day, replaced my heater very quickly and I must add were extremely gracious due to all the exercise equipment they needed to move to get to the heater. Everyone that came was so personable, made it a pleasure doing business with them! I definitely recommend them and ladies they were not bad on the eyes either! 👀

I've always had positive experiences with the company since i moved to the area in 2017. Recently, John Paul (JP) provided awesome customer service and inspection of my property. He is very knowledgeable and explains as he goes. I believe he gave honest and valuable feedback and allowed me time to decide how I wanted to pursue his recommendations. In no way was I pressured at all, as he offered options I was comfortable with doing. For the service, Sidney along with apprentice Cameron provided the repairs that Monday. Both were highly considerate upon entering and actually made me feel even more comfortable in my own home. They welcomed me to watch, provided explanations, and answered any questions I had. I witnessed Sidney's excellent coaching and teaching experience as both Cameron and I learned so much that day about installation of my new hot water tank and other plumbing repairs. All three gentlemen provided outstanding and professional customer service. I recommend Home Service Doctors for any plumbing needs.

I have had the opportunity to use Home Service Doctors for multiple repairs, including an emergency clog issue that led to flooding the day before Thanksgiving and three toilet replacements (which included one that brought with it multiple challenges). The technician, Greg Smoot, was an absolute pleasure to work with on all repairs!

Recently I reached out to Home Service Doctors again, as I am considering moving forward with one of the repairs Mr. Smoot recommended in the fall. The estimates were provided in November, and upon revisiting them, I had a few questions. Not only did he call me back the same day I reached out, but also he patiently answered all the questions I asked and explained the reason for the slight change in pricing. During our conversation, I got interrupted multiple times by my children, and Mr. Smoot was very understanding, even calling me back when I had to abruptly hang up.

I wish I could rate Greg Smoot and Home Service Doctors higher than 5 stars! He and the company have been an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would recommend them for all of your plumbing and HVAC needs!

I had several pieces of work done. I needed a new water heater, a new toilet and a gas leak fixed. The work was excellent. They are very professional and all work was done to the highest level of quality. I will definitely use them again.

We just replaced our water heater and they did a great job. We set the order for installation in the morning and they had the county out, the heater installed, and everything good to go in just a few hours.

I want to personally thank my initial contact visit to my home on 6-10-24 with Eathan Pirzadeh that recommended the hydro jet service that is guaranteed to clear my kichen sink drain clog.

When Greg Smoot arrived (certified jetter) who had to go on the roof of my house to perform the hydro jet clean service from the vent pipe all the way to the drain blockage and continuing to the main sewage county line.

The camera service was also conducted to ensure drain pipe blockage was clear, clean and any other issues to my attention.

After performing the hydro jet service the kitchen sink drain pipe is now draining properly. Prior to my call for the Home Service Doctors, I tried to clear under the kitchen sink drain blockage with a 25-ft., 50-ft. drain auger and a medium size drain bladder, none these plumbing items worked.

Also, I want to truely thank, Plumberologist John Paul (JP) who also arrived on the scene to bring the pipe camera and used an electronic water drain device tool and recommended some additional future drain pipe work with an estimate.

For the amount I paid to clear this clogged kitchen sink drain pipe with the hydro jet clean service application was well worth the frustration of dishes- silverware that needed to be washed and trying the DYI maintenance-handyman.

When all failed, the experience and knowledgeable professionals: "Home Service Doctors" that I highly recommend and will only call again when needed in the future.

Abram installed an Aquasana whole home system for us, and we couldn’t be happier with his work, professionalism, expertise, and attitude. He was punctual, and didn’t leave until the job was done to perfection. It’s clear he really cares about the work - he studies up and knows what he’s talking about. We had a tight space for a large system, but he made it work for us and even suggested a few improvements we hadn’t considered. For example, he advised us to skip the lines for the outdoor hoses since softened water can be bad for plants. He cleaned up before leaving, and was nice to our dog. I highly recommend Home Service Doctors.

I was in need of an urgent repair for a leaking garbage disposal and they were the fastest to respond back in the Fairfax area. I learned that others won't be able to service in condos due to license issues, so if you live in a condo, I highly recommend!

Sidney and Ben are very communicative and maintained being professional from start to finish. I'm really happy with the new installation!
