I had a broken outdoor water line. Three very highly-rated plumbers recommended that I call Erik at Interstate Enterprises. Erik gave me an estimate in a timely manner and was less expensive than the other companies I asked for estimates.
They found the leak immediately. Once the repair was finished, the crew replaced the dirt and grass with care; you can’t tell where they did the work. The office was also very professional and friendly.

Erick and his crew did a fantastic job at my place. I had a terrible mainline clogging situation. They responded immediately to my call and fix the problem very quickly, because they came ready with the right tools and the needed man power. They were always were able to answer all the questions and concerns I had. My drain system now is free and working great. Thanks so much for your help. You were a true savior.

From start to finish, the work and customer service was top notch. Erik was very responsive, helpful and so timely. Jose was the lead man on the work crew. He was nice knowledgeable and helpful throughout. They sent a large crew to extend our sump pump discharge across our side yard to tie into the storm sewer. They took care to not disturb the yard and when they were all done, you could not even tell that they dug a trench across our yard. We are SO HAPPY with the work performed. We will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I cannot provide a higher recommendation for hiring Interstate Enterprises. It was a Monday. Our water main line between the house and the water meter at the street broke. Our plumbing company could not get a crew there until the following Tue, but we could not wait 8 days. A friend recommended their plumber, but he did not do excavations — he recommended Interstate Enterprises. Erik came out Tue morning, assessed the situation, and recommended a couple courses of action. We agreed to replace the main line, which would likely involve three days — install new line, get county inspection, fill in holes/clean up. On Wed morning, the excavation crew arrived and immediately went to work tracing nearby sewage lines and determining the best path to drill and install the replacement main line. Within 4.5 hours, the crew had used their high tech equipment to trace the nearby sewage lines, cut through the concrete in the utility room (needed to come up from below the house), drilled through the ground from the water meter to the utility room, and connected the replacement pipe. On Thu morning, the county inspector arrived and cleared their work, saying that they had done an exceptional job. He was excited to see that they had ran a trace line too, which could be used to know precisely where the pipe is located underground should the need to know ever arises in the future. Since the inspector came out early enough, the excavation crew was able to come back on Thu and fill in the holes and perform their post job clean up. From start to finish, the professionalism, communication, and technical skill exhibited by all was exceptional.

I initially hired this company for a main water line leak repair but after the crew dug up the leaking area it seemed as if it was more than one leak so I decided to install a new main water line. Erik was understanding with my change in the middle of them doing the work and got the job done the very next day. The crew that did the work was amazing and very knowledgeable. Erik was upfront and honest concerning prices and he had great prices concerning the job. Thanks Erik and to your amazing crew for working with us and doing a great job. This contractor tore up my yard which had an easement for a neighbor’s work and left a muddy mess for my pets. They just threw the dirt back into the hole and compacted the soil leaving clay and rock on top and threw down some seeds. They also attempted to put down some of the grass that was there originally but the quality was lacking. Photo show original vs current state.

After having several bad experiences with plumbers and being ghosted by them and not getting in writing estimates working with Interstate was great. They were able to give me a quote a written online estimate and have the work done in under a week the quote was less than others and the work was very good. It took one day to do the actual work the rest was just going back and forth and scheduling.

If we could give 10 stars, we would! Interstate Plumbing was phenomenal in handling our main sewer line replacement in Vienna. From start to finish, their team worked efficiently, professionally, and got us back in service far more quickly than we anticipated. As smooth as having your front yard torn up could possibly be, Erik the Project Manager was great. While we still have some landscaping ahead of us, Interstate made the process as painless as possible. Highly recommend them for any major plumbing work especially underground plumbing line replacement—top-notch service all around.

Would highly recommend using this company. I had only been living in my new home for three days (which had just been completely renovated inside and out) my basement flooded, so you can imagine I was a wreck. I had a plumber come out to do an initial assessment which was that I had a collapsed/broken sewer line right at the foundation of my house. I contacted Interstate and Erik came out the very next day to meet with me. Erik was very friendly and communicated a few options depending on what exactly they found after starting the work. Erik made me feel like problem was just as important for him to address as it was for me. Having just moved into the home and dealing with all the financial aspects he understood how stressful this was for me to have to deal with so quickly after moving in. Erik worked with me to get on the schedule all while considering the impacts it had/would have for me until it was remedied. Interstate could have began the work the very next business day but taking into account the holiday and the county being closed I was advised to schedule the work when it could be fixed, inspected and completed within a days timeframe. The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly and got the work completed in 24 hours. One of the hardest things to watch was digging up my front yard as it had just been landscaped prior to moving in. The crew did an amazing job of putting everything back the way it was and you can’t even tell that there had been a large hole the day before. Throughout the process Erik was always available to answer any questions I had, and never made me feel like I was a burden. I would most certainly use Interstate again (hopefully not anytime soon – no offense guys – fingers crossed I can go at least a couple more years in my home without any major issues) and would recommend to anyone looking for the entire package/experience. Often times this type of work can be stressful, time consuming and costly and Interstate was extremely helpful throughout it all!

Interstate replaced my main sewer line using the pipe bursting which preserved most of my yard and large shrubs. The Team did an outstanding job and were very careful to not damage, cables, lighting etc. I would strongly recommend them for any future work.

My experience with this company is mixed. Last year, i hired them to unclog the main sewer line mainly based on the high rating they received on here. I was thankful they managed to unclog it after spending quite some time snaking it. However, to our surprise the sewer line is clogged again afer merely a year, especially since we were careful with what we put in the sink. Naturally i called them again and they were able to send the same technician out quickly. However, this time he was not able to unclog it after 2 hours of snaking. We desperately found another service the same day, who used a different type of cleaning method. To our amazement, the second service was able to unclog the drain in less than 15 minutes. Our evening arrangement was ruined since we had to find another service and wait for them to finish. Also, i could not help but thinking this service did not clean the sewer line thoroughly the first time since it got clogged again so quickly. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

The previous owners of my house did what appears to be a DIY basement renovation, which resulted in faulty sewer pipes under the foundation. When my (now former) plumber looked at it, they understated the work that would need to be done and they quoted me a price that was significantly higher than the one that I got from Erik at Interstate.
I spoke with Erik on the phone, texted him some photos, and he had a team come out shortly thereafter to evaluate the plumbing situation and I had an estimate from him the next day.
The team arrived right on time (a bit early, actually) and were all professional, very friendly, and handled the extras (removing the doors to the laundry area, washer, dryer, and all bathroom fixtures…poor guys!) without blinking an eye.
I hope that neither I nor any of my friends needs this kind of work again, but if we do, Interstate will be our first choice. They've been incredibly responsive to my questions (the opposite of what I got from my former plumber), the team communicated well with me while they were here, and they actually finished the work early. AND they left zero mess behind. They get all the stars!!

Besides him, the team at Interstate is also very professional and communicated the process from start to finish, including working with the county inspection. They showed up on time, did their work as scheduled, and cleaned up after they left.

Overall, it was a very stress free and positive experience. Highly recommend Eric and his team for any outdoor plumbing issue.

We have used them for 2 separate issues and in both cases they have done great work. They are on time, professional and find the root cause quickly.

We hired Hicks to repair a leak in the waterline near our curb after getting two other estimates. Their prices were in line with the others we met with. We liked that Hicks has their own heavy equipment if needed and does not subcontract it out. The estimate was free, thorough and prompt. The repair was made two days later and only took 90 min start to finish. Couldn't be happier with their service and the completed repair and will certainly use Hicks again for our future plumbing needs.

Never disappointed with the service from Home Service Doctors. I found them in 2023 when they replaced my water heater and some minor plumbing issues, so when I need to diagnose another plumbing issue with shower leak, new vanity install I called on them again. Michael was able to get John Paul to diagnose the issue and they were able to do all the repairs and install my new vanity the next day. Nabel Malaka did a great job with all the work. He was very patient and talked through all the work he did. I am very pleased with the service and work that I provided. THANK YOU!

Home Service Doctors was professional, effective, and responsive during our entire plumbing engagement.
We needed to take care of eight plumbing repairs and replacements in our rental condo. John Paul and his colleague John did an excellent job! JP did a survey of all our plumbing and took time to explain to me his recommendations and our options. Once we agreed on the scope of work, he and John got it done without delay, and did high-quality work. They were both a pleasure to work with!
