We contacted Home Service Doctors to replace our washer hoses, as one was swollen and close to bursting. We also needed help with a recurring odor from the washing machine. They sent Sidney Janet, and we couldn't have asked for a better plumber. Sidney was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient. He replaced the old rubber hoses with a durable stainless steel mesh set, recommended a simple cleaner to address the smell, and thoughtfully walked us through other potential issues without pushing unnecessary repairs. His honest and straightforward approach was refreshing. What stood out most was his willingness to answer all our questions, even those unrelated to the problem, with genuine care and patience. Getting an appointment was easy, and the prices were very reasonable! We’re so impressed that we’d gladly work with Sidney and Home Service Doctors again. Thank you.

Home Service Doctors provide outstanding customer service! Sidney Janet also delivered excellent service in response to today’s call regarding my home’s water heater problem. I am grateful he was the technician assigned to address the water heater issue. After completing the repair, he clearly explained the work he performed to ensure the water heater operated correctly. Additionally, he emailed the documents related to the service call, including photos of the water heater and its serial/model numbers. He contacted the manufacturer to document the issue and registered the water heater on my behalf. Truly, he is a Master Technician and a valuable asset to Home Service Doctors! A picture speaks thousands of words! DO NOT ever hire this place to do any work and it would be a shame for those of you who are working for this place.

The most overrated and sketchy business on earth. I called the Home Service Doctor in for a simple main valve exchange at the price of 1100$ and let alone their claim of “great service does not come cheap”. On the second day, my basement is flooded as in the picture, the water is dripping and spurting all over the place.

On a call with their Service manager, the manager uneducatedly said that “No refund. I am not trying to just brush it off. You should file a claim with your home insurance to deal with all the water damage” EXCUSE ME? This is not by accident, and you told me to file with my home insurance to deal with it?? No reimbursement and no nothing. Basically, you are telling me you are not responsible for the work that you have done to flood my whole basement and I have to pay you letting me deal with this.

Super unprofessional and unacceptable! In the middle of discussing with my lawyers for the next step and probably also file a tax fraud activity suspects to IRS.

Everyone will be blessed in the future if they choose not to come to this place.

Cameron from Home Service Doctors came out to analyze and repair my garbage disposal today. He did an excellent job of replacing the disposal and getting the water to drain correctly. Cameron was a true professional…punctual, kind, patient and knowledgeable! We even discovered that he had been a student at my former school. Great to see wolves excelling in a career they love!

This is the best company in the NOVA area!!! They are the most genuine individuals that I have ever met in the service industry. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, the office manager, the amazing workers and the project manager (again)! I absolutely love all of them and they are so wonderful and thorough. They showed up as promised and they are such a blessing to work with! 🥰

Long's was very responsive and addressed three plumbing and drain issues within two days, once HomeServe approved their part.

Long's Plumbing is professional and very responsive. They have fixed my plumbing and HVAC problems with efficiency and skill over the past few years ! Yesterday, Sherry demonstrated a positive attitude and ability to work in extremely close quarters to replace a leaking shut off valve.

Our thermostate stopped working yesterday so we called Long's this morning. Steve was here within an hour and found the problem. He quickly found the problem and immediately fixed it. We appreciate his quick, efficient work.

I had an appointment with Long Corporation to repair a plumbing leak under my kitchen sink, I called to confirm the appointment early in the morning. I spoke with someone name Sherry who called me back and confirmed that yes I was on the schedule from 9-12. I waited until 12:15 and NO ONE showed. I called back and I get a call from Sherry again who says I was never even on the schedule for today and acted as if she can care less whether I received service. She eventually says she made a mistake when she confirmed my appointment because it was someone else in the same city as me . I asked what am I supposed to do because I made the appointment through HomeServe and I have a leak. She makes a RUDE comment: " WELL CALL HOMSERVE THEN"!!

Customer service is big with me and I refuse to pay someone money to disrespect me and do work. I believe I had an issue with her once before on a different service call.

They cannot have my business, if LONG Corporation allows their staff to talk to customers in this manner. I will ensure to let ALL my family and friends know this company doesn't care to treat people with respect.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I would have given ZERO if possible.

Long's was called in when another plumbing company failed to get the job done. From the moment I made contact with the dispatcher, it was an exceptional experience. They sent John, who must certainly be a master plumber, to my house first thing in the morning. He quickly surveyed the issue, understood what needed to be done and was totally professional in the way he accomplished the repairs. Cannot offer enough praise for the quality and completeness of the job.

This is a preliminary rating. We have been trying to get this company to get a quote to fix our sewage pipes for over a month. They claim to only work with the insurance company. They’ve called and said insurance will not cover a broken pipe. We’ve asked for a quote so we can cover the expense and they have not delivered it, even after they’ve promised to have it by “end of day”. They’ve done more harm than good as a plumber since we are living with the risk of sewage backup.

They recently replaced my hot water heater, furnace and air conditioner – all of which needed to be replaced. I was 100% satisfied with their work and prices.

For several years now I have used them for annual heating/cooling inspection. They are always on time and do not "over repair."

I give them 5 stars and 100% recommend this company and their experts.

Just had Long's replace my water heater as part of Home Serve's service agreement. Mike arrived on time - actually, earlier than I expected, and got to work right away. He explained everything in great detail, took pictures, and coordinated everything with Home Serve. Minutes later, Emily arrived with the new heater.

From the moment Mike arrived to the time they left - under 2 hours!

Problem totally solved, everything left clean and in working order.

Long's has been doing all my HVAC and plumbing work since 2017. While service has always been prompt & very competent, I'd like to especially commend Steve Samson for his exceptional kindness, and attentiveness. He always makes sure that if everything is complete, and if anything is new (like a thermostat), that I know how to use it. Thank you all for all the wonderful service you've provided for the last 6 years.

Felix was professional, personable and a nice guy. He diagnosed the problem, helped me order the part and will be back to install it when it arrives. This was the first time I’ve used Long’s corporation, but they’re definitely on my list to be used again

Long's came out to snake a main sewer drain for our house after we had a clog. They responded within 24 hours of my request for service. Kyle the technician was kind, knowledgeable, and quickly fixed our problem. I was very happy with their service.
