Incredible work! I hired Jeff and his team to redo our back patio, install new paver areas around our driveway, and rebuild our garden and garden walls. I initially asked Jeff for an estimate based on recommendations from friends. Unlike other contractors - he seemed very interested in the project, and provided excellent inputs and insight in how to to get the best end result, so I hired him shortly thereafter. The team was very knowledgeable, and paid great attention to detail in all areas. Jeff kept in touch everyday during the work to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and would quickly respond to all questions. The end product was fantastic and was all done at a very fair price. My neighbors even saw the quality of the work and attention to detail and began asking for estimates. I highly recommend Jeff and his company!

I've known about Jeff and his great work product for many years and looked forward to being able to utilize his services. He did not disappoint. He and his team built a new front flagstone walkway and stone steps for me.

Jeff was great at helping us design the layout and then quickly transforming our front entry. This was our final project after more than a year of home remodeling. We worked with countless contractors during this time and Jeff and his team are at the top of our list.

The guys were solid at communicating with us throughout the job, patiently answered every question we had and were meticulous in their work. Highly recommend!

We hired Classic Stonescaping to build a patio in our back yard that we had been envisioning for a couple of years. We met with several local companies but Jeff was the only one who quickly understood just want we wanted. And he offered suggestions for addressing drainage issues in our yard at the same time, which others did not. Jeff and his team were great to work with. Jeff explained all of our options, was very responsive to questions, and coordinated with our gas contractor when it came time to hook up the gas to the fire pit. He and his guys had the patio done in a week and we've been able to enjoy our little oasis now that the heat from the summer has broken. Friends are already asking us who did it and using our pictures for ideas for their own projects.

Jeff and his crew are amazing. They completed a small, dry laid flagstone patio with stone walkway in our yard in Arlington. He was patient with all of our questions and took the time to walk through the project with us, explaining the process and marking out the patio and stones to ensure we all understood the project. Even though our project was probably on the smaller side, Jeff treated us no different (unlike other companies, where we got lost among the larger, more expensive projects). He is easy to work with, and clearly communicates pros and cons of options in the project so we can make the best decision. While we did have to wait a couple months for the project to start, it was well worth it. His estimated project start date and days to finish were accurate. His crew was professional, thorough, and they cleaned up the site after each day. We are very pleased with the process and the outcome. We highly recommend Jeff and his company.

UPDATED (October 2019) - We just hired Jeff again to do additional drainage work, this time building a wall around our expected generator, and we cannot say enough good things. Jeff was able to squeeze us into his schedule and help us, knowing our fears of having future water damage and not wanting to have the generator ruined. Great work and a truly decent crew. Would continue to recommend Jeff over and over again.

Loved the work Jeff and his crew did...true lifesavers too! We have had exterior drainage issues from the moment we moved into our house, and thanks to Jeff, I truly believe we have found a solution. Through his vision, we now have a beautiful retaining wall with a walkway that starts in the backyard and comes all the way around front to meet up with our driveway. He allowed us to pick materials that complemented our existing patio and even swapped out rocks that were originally laid that were not exactly what we expected. The crew was very prompt in showing up each day and cleaning up before leaving the work site at night. My only complaint--and it's not even one that Jeff could have easily controlled--was that it took three months from when we signed the contract to them starting work. That being said, it just shows how sought after Jeff and his crew are! Would definitely recommend for anyone having drainage issues and will look to Jeff should we need any future exterior work.

Jeff and his team were excellent. We have a complicated drainage setup on our property and during a pre-work assessment Jeff was extremely thoughtful and considered in how to approach the project we requested given the complexities of our outdoor drainage. 2-3 months after the work was complete we experienced a separate drainage issue unrelated to his work. Jeff came right over to the house to advise on the issue, made some enhancements to his original work to account for the new problem, and diagnosed a potential issue with our gutters and downspouts that created the separate issue.

Would 100% recommend and would use again.

We recently used Jeff’s company for front yard stonescaping and backyard patio. We were very satisfied with their professional work!!! Jeff and his crew are busy, we waited for about 8 weeks and it’s totally worth the wait. Jeff has very good ideas and he even did some extra work for us for free, moved a tree, put in a new drain pipe. He is an expert on dealing with water running around your house. His team arrive on time every day in the morning 7:30, work hard, and clean the site before they leave at 3:30. Overall, very pleasant experience working with Jeff and his crew!!

We have been already planning to use them for another project in our backyard maybe in winter or coming spring.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Jeff was able to install a beautiful rock feature that completly controls our backyard water issues. He is very good at all kinds of solutions to water problems. We needed a contractor to repair the extensive damage done to our front yard and brick walks after a sewer line replacement project. Classic Stonescaping discussed the scope of work and provided clear and expert advice on stone paver and planting selections. Jeff Jones and his crew started work when promised and finished within a week, updating on work status each day. We are extremely pleased with the work Classic Stonescaping performed for us, especially after the stress and disruption of the sewer line work. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is the easiest review I've written. Highly recommend and would trust Jeff and his team for all landscape projects. You get the personal customer service of a family-run business with the quality and professionalism of a bigger, corporate shop.

They tick all the boxes: customer service (Jeff and/or his son Ethan were on-site each day; Jeff even checked in before his daughter's wedding), quality of work (they employ their own crew and it shows; same folks every day and worked efficiently as a team; and the final result looks incredible), and cost (very reasonable comparatively for our flagstone walkway).

Jeff and his team took our unstable crumbling back patio and transformed it into the beautiful, level, backyard we knew it could be! From initial quote, to final day, they were fantastic to work with. The crew was always on schedule, tidy and communicative and we are so so pleased with the results! The neighbors even commented on how nice everyone was and how the noise was worth it for the results! They fixed all the drainage concerns as well. We would recommend them without fail and would choose them over again any day! They were also fantastic value, and after several quotes we found them to be the most competitive and also the most responsive to our needs!

FABULOUS, WONDERFUL, AWESOME!!! Completely amazed at how Classic Stonescaping - Jeff and his crew - drastically improved our property! After 23 years of living with the 1965 DIY hardscapes, the new hardscapes and landscaping by Classic Stonescaping totally transformed how we enjoy our outdoor spaces. It was a huge job - 1 walkway, 4 sets of steps, 2 stepping stone paths, several new drains, several retaining walls, 3 patios and landscaping . The design is great and each area ties into the next creating great flow. From a brand new front walk, steps and landscaping; to new underground drains that keep our previously constantly flooding garage bone dry; to expanded and improved patios, steps and retaining walls... Everything is absolutely beautiful and perfect. Built to last - Jeff and crew know how to do hardscaping the RIGHT WAY. Jeff heard our ideas, offered his own recommendations and executed perfectly. He is highly knowledgeable and experienced in hardscapes, drainage, design and landscaping. His crew is the best - highly skilled, professional, extremely hard working, and easy to work with. We enjoyed the whole process and learned a lot. The pricing is extremely fair - we had multiple quotes. Although we are IN LOVE with our new outdoor spaces, we will miss seeing the Classic Stonescaping crew after every day for almost a month! Can not say enough great things about Jeff and his company. Jeffrey and his team did a wonderful job on our front stoop and garden path. It looks even better than my partner and I imagined! His quote was reasonable and the work is beautiful. He and his team worked quickly and communicated along the way. I highly recommend working with Jeffrey!

Classic Stonescaping did a great job building a flagstone walkway and repairing our flagstone steps and front stoop. They also replaced our broken, old retaining wall with a Pennsylvania field stone retaining wall complete with French drain and lighting. Both look amazing!

We talked with three companies. Their prices are very competitive but what really sets them apart is Jeff's knowledge. He was the only one to suggest a Pennsylvania field stone retaining wall that would curve along with the curves in our patio. And the only one to suggest adding steps to our walkway so it didn't slope down like the previous walkway.

They were able to come out and start the job a week earlier than they originally thought they would, then worked two straight weeks to complete the job. Multiple neighbors have already asked for their information after seeing the work we did.

We highly recommend them for any work you might need and will definitely use them again for future projects.

I knew I wanted Classic Stonescaping in my yard when I first saw what he installed in his own yard. That was 20+ years ago. Finally we were able to have him come and see what he could do. He walked through my (not so big) yard and listened as I explained my problems just getting around the yard. He came up with great solutions and and we are thrilled with the result.
His crew was prompt and worked Very Hard. It was finished in 3 days!
I would highly recommend Classic Stonescaping to anyone with problem areas on their property.

Jeff and his team did an excellent job on our walkway, stairs and wall. The team was very professional and willing to listen and act on our wants. They took pride in their work in every detail. The job site was very clean when they completed the work.

Jeff came by several times to discuss our vision, pricing options, and his own recommendations and even took us to some other houses to show us examples. He was able to start work quicker than we were even planning for and finished in a little over a week despite some inclement weather. His team was also very accommodating with requests during construction like tweaking the dimensions of the patio and shifting the path of the wall. This is the second time we’ve used Classic Stonescaping for stonework and will look to them again for future projects!

We had a wonderful experience working with Classic Stonescaping, Jeffrey, and his crew. We had an old concrete patio in the backyard that was in desperate need of updating. Jeffrey listened to how we wanted to use the space and designed the perfect patio, fire pit, and counter. The work was timely and very well done. In particular, the attention to detail was very much appreciated. Jeffrey communicated throughout the project to keep us updated, and any minor issues we raised were addressed immediately. What a fantastic experience. I called Jeff based on good online reviews and didn't have much of a vision outside of "please make this a lot nicer." He delivered! The work is beautiful, and he, Ethan, and their crew were fast, professional, and very helpful.

We've been renovating and repairing an old home constantly over the last year, and I've worked with many different contractors of different fields in this time. What really sets Jeff apart is that he gave me a price from the outset and stuck with it. Many other contractors have offered add ons during jobs and I feel like it's a constant sales process and I have to keep spending more than I planned or repeatedly saying no. It was so refreshing to work with Jeff and not get haggled for more.
