I called Potomac Lawn Services on a Wednesday, needing help with a wildly out of control yard. The next day Jose came out and mowed my lawn. He did a beautiful job and my yard already looks so much better!!

Potomac Lawn was amazing. They arrived on time, trimmed my hedges (that were incredibly overgrown), and planted fresh seeds so they can grow bigger and stronger than ever! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Had new sod installed. Napoleon and Ruben did a great job. Yard was properly regraded, sod installed everywhere it was supposed to be, trees thinned out nicely to allow light to get to the grass. And they didn’t leave any mess when they were done.

Potomac has been responsive and comprehensive in their lawn consultation. Service workers were efficient and professional. Look forward to hiring them for ongoing work!

Once again Potomac Lawn Professionals did great job with the 2nd clearing leaves from our yard today. Jose and Carlos did a great job. Thanks!

Luis and his team did a fantastic job! We have a large lot (0.62 acres) with lots of obstacles (azaleas, fences, etc) and they did an excellent job of getting the leaves out. Well done, Luis!

William Antonio and Selvin were very kind in our brief interactions and did an amazing job cleaning up very large, very overgrown flower beds, mulching, and trimming our plants. Highly recommend!

David from Potomac Lawn Professionals came in and got my stormwater planters ready for inspection. His crew did a fantastic job!

Recently changed lawn service providers and so far the first two weeks have been great. Crew completed mowing, edging and blowing on schedule and very efficient. Nice to even get a recommendation for additional turf disease treatment when the crew was out to get out grass looking lush and green! Very happy with services.

Super - this review is long overdue. I reached out to Potomac Lawn Professionals last year, initially to install steel edging; however, have to come rely of them for several outdoor services. Brad and his Team are superb, professional and very responsive. Since the initial steal edging installation, PLP has mulched, installed trees, lawn aeration / reseeding and this year, is now our mowing service. My highest recommendation for consideration of the aforementioned services and more.

UPDATE:
Given only one active review can remain, I wanted to share we continue to receive outstanding service from Potomac Lawn Professionals. In addition to continuing PLP's lawn mowing service, we have since added lawn care and they are our regular small tree / shrub pruning company. Scheduling is easy, communication is superb, and PLP has competitive pricing. If something is not exactly right, PLP will endeavor to make it right, which I very much appreciate.

From helping us design our new patio to recommending plants & trees to plant. They were extremely professional & meticulous and they loved when our dogs would sit on the deck to "supervise", LOL! Here are some before and after pictures that really don't do it justice, but we'll have more once the flowers bloom. We can't believe the transformation and so thankful Potomac Lawn made our vision a reality! We'll definitely be calling them again and highly recommend them to everyone!

Potomac Lawn Professionals have been doing a great job mowing my lawn weekly. I asked for a quote to redo my whole backyard not thinking I would actually go forward with it. But the plan they put together was good and the price was so reasonable i decided to go ahead with it. A week later my backyard looks great!

October 2022: I hired Potomac Lawn Professionals this past Fall for leaf cleanup because I have seen their team around my neighborhood and they always seem friendly and professional. The price is on par with similar companies in the area. They came out three times between November and December. They always gave a day's notice beforehand and did a better job than any company I have hired previously. My backyard is tiered, with the upper and lower tier being mulch and the middle tier being grass, so it is easy to push mulch all over the grass when blowing leaves with a gas powered blower. They did a pretty good job keeping the mulch in the garden beds instead of all over the lawn. I also had an issue with the company I hired the previous year blowing leaves into my garden fountains, which took hours to clean out afterwards. I inquired if the Potomac team could work around my fountains and scheduling staff assured me it was not a problem. I covered my fountains on the day of each leaf cleanup just to be safe and that seemed to be a winning combination. Not many leaves or leaf bits were found in my fountains. Thank you for providing a great service experience!

David and his team are the best in the business in Arlington. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for landscaping or lawn care services and wants a company that cares about delivering top notch results. Their work speaks for itself.

In November 2024, we finished an addition on our house. The process destroyed half of our yard and we wanted a bunch of work done. We had been using Potomac for maintenance for a while, so I got in touch with them about a specific landscaping project. It went great. I loved the design they created, which was thoughtful and within my parameters I wanted. The crews worked really hard to grade, add a bunch of new beds, sod, put down river rock, etc.

I was most impressed when the neighbors directly behind us were taking down a massive tree near the property line as the crew was doing work post sod installation and the crew lead proactively went over to talk to the tree crew to make sure they were extra careful of all the new stuff in our yard. They also took a bunch of extra debris that I had been needing to get rid of, which saved me a bunch of time and a big headache. Overall, just a great company that cares a lot.

We have been using Potomac Lawn for 2 1/2 seasons now. Our yard was a mess when we first got started and within about a season it was looking great again. In general, our relationship with them has been very much "set it and forget it", which is what I wanted. They come when they're supposed to and they get things done correctly.

Originally, there were some gaps in communication, particularly for people like me who had full-season service contracts, but they have recently made major improvements there that have resolved all of my issues.

Their crews have always been highly efficient, respectful, and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We booked them for a fall cleanup including trimming mulching and multiple leaf removals, and each time they were extra thorough. The yard and beds look so clean and pristine. We look forward to working with them more.

I switched over to Potomac a couple of years ago after another landscaper’s services continued to be underwhelming. Potomac is everything I could have ever hoped for. Great customer service, quick email response times, fair prices, and a respectful and organized crew. They charge per service as it happens so you are always updated as to what they are working on and when. If additional items come up, they are very flexible to discussing it and offering their transparent opinions. I also don’t feel I’m ever up-charged which is great.

Milton and his team at Potomac Lawn do an outstanding job! Our yard has never looked better — the grass is always perfectly trimmed, the edges are clean, and everything looks pristine week after week. Milton takes real pride in his work, pays attention to the details, and is always professional and friendly. It’s clear he genuinely cares about keeping our lawn in top shape. Highly recommend him and Potomac Lawn for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality lawn care!

I did my research and had estimates to either SEED or SOD our large front yard. Our 60 yr old Septic drainage field had finally failed so we had to have a totally new design installed. This meant, from May to mid October, our front yard was all DIRT. I chose
