I used this company about 2 years ago. I always meant to give my review. Good company, good rate, always on-time and most of, trustworthy. When I moved to England, I had to cancel my services. My job just transferred me back, but I could not re-hire them as my company has a deal with another cleaning company. But I strongly recommend Elaine's House Cleaning.

If it would be possible to give zero starts I would:

I was gifted this cleaning service as I recently just purchased my first home. They advised that they needed longer time to finish, but we declined. Once we got home to see what was done we were found with pretty much nothing completed.

Fan blades were partially dusted, but the light shade was still covered and fuzzy.

Window blinds were dusted, but were left broken and inoperable.
Windows behind the blinds were not touched. Large cob webs in the dead center of the window were left, along with the window frame full of dust and debris.

The floors on the 2nd floor are brand new so they did sweep upstairs, but that was about it.

Soap scum still in the showers.
Counters covered in dust.

The first floor? Wasn't touch at all. We requested our appliances to be touched up. Food still in the burners. I ran my swiffer around and was able to mop up some spots with in minutes.

I bet two toddlers and a play set could have done a better job.

The service was okay—not terrible, but nothing to rave about. My home is generally well-kept, so I wasn’t expecting a dramatic transformation, but I was still hoping for a more detailed and thorough clean. A few areas, like my kitchen island and primary shower, needed to be cleaned again after they left. Tile showers, in particular, require more than just a rinse—they need proper scrubbing to really be clean. On the positive side, they did a good job cleaning the ceiling fans, mirrors, and general dusting.

Additionally, communication was a bit challenging as the cleaners spoke very limited English, which made it difficult to explain specific areas I wanted them to focus on. Overall, I wasn’t particularly impressed and I’m unsure if I’d use the service again.

I have used Elaine’s for over 10 years and they consistently provide top tier cleaning services. They send reminders and are very flexible if I need to change the schedule. The staff is timely, friendly and they always do a thorough job. I highly recommend and their rates are better than most competitors.

I booked a 2-hour deep clean as a move-in gift for my brother’s new home, and it was one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve ever had. In that time, they managed to clean only one bathroom, one bedroom, and make the beds. That’s it. No dusting, no mopping—not even the basics I expected from a deep clean.

They claimed they needed an extra 40 minutes to complete the job, which I declined because I believed two hours would be sufficient for what was requested. It’s clear now that wasn’t the case, but the lack of effort within the booked time was unacceptable.

To make matters worse, Grace—who I believe handles customer communication—was incredibly argumentative and dismissive. There was absolutely no attempt to make the situation right or offer any kind of resolution. Zero customer service.

I will not be using their services again, and I do not recommend them to others.

She came out for a free estimate. She was on time for our appointment. They were professional friendly and cleaned TF outta my house ! Highly recommend !!
