If I could give zero I would. They installed a evaporator coil through warranty company. The unit would not drain outside the water was drying down to my emergency drain pan. They returned and said it was my ductwork causing it to sweat. Complete lie another company found they had broke the drain pain that was on the new coil which is why the water was leaking everywhere in my unit

Reliance Home Comfort was sent to fix my leaky pipe by my home warranty. Robert from RHC called the next day and showed up right on time. He found the leak and had to come back the second time as we had to have the ceiling opened up. He came back the second time as soon as we called and again right on time. He even remembered to come in the back door and brought the floor cover as we requested. He fixed the leak in our galvanize pipe with no problem. Robert is very professional, knowledgeable and very polite. I am glad RHC sent him and I will definitely request Robert the next time we need plumbing help.

If I could do negative stares I would. Unreliable, unprofessional, zero customer service lied to our warranty company. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Don't understand how they are in business. Even a 1 out of 5 with the BBB and they are not BBB certified

In response to your response. I personally talk to whomever answers your phone calls on a Wednesday and was told that you had our address wrong and that they corrected it and that they would let you know and have you call me later that afternoon. Never received a phone call like I was told.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude towards the members of this company. I really appreciate the level of professionalism, quality service and care. In these uncertain times, this experience was by far the best! After 2 other failed attempts with other companies in the area, this company was able to provide my unit with hot water!! Finally!! The knowledgeable techs and communication with the owner put me at ease and I knew I was in good hands they were able to troubleshoot and provide my unit with hot water and explained in detail everything they needed to do to get my unit up and running. They cleaned up, wore masks and gloves which I really appreciated. Thank you so much!!

It's been several weeks and they still have not called back.

update 08/23/20: Reliance called and apologized for not contacting me but my service request was denied by my home warranty company. It's taken some time but I spoke with warranty company and they declined the claim because Reliance Home Comfort said the condition was preexisting. The original claim was to inspect/repair leaking duct work under the house. This summer I have poor airflow in a couple of vents and a ton of cold air flowing out of the crawl space vents. The report Reliance provided my warranty company stated that the duct work was not seated property at the joints and was therefore preexisting... How can they tell that by not going under the house and inspecting the duct work??? Total scam. Out a $100 service call fee. The tech told me he was going to request approval to inspect the duct work but provided a report making it look like they already did. Sorry, cannot recommend dishonest people... The tech verified poor air flow in two vents and strong airflow in all others... I guess they didn't feel like going under the house and looking.. I can't believe I paid a crew $100 to not do their job. Extremely disappointed.

Our real estate company uses Reliance Home Comfort for HVAC and Plumbing issues with all of our properties. This is a reputable company and I have first hand experience dealing with them and the Owner, Derick. He is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his field. I would highly recommend him and his team for any of your service needs. Since we utilize his services, I recommended his team to my sister who desperately needed two new air conditioning units. He went above and beyond and his team worked tirelessly in extreme heat and got the job done in a day. Everyone is very professional. Anyone that gave a negative review must have been having a bad day because this company truly is outstanding. I would not hesitate to contact them for future work.

Zachariah was very attentive and very thorough. He explained what was needed, changed my capacitor and filter and checked the flow in all rooms. Was polite. Professional and very pleasant. Will request my home warranty company assign Reliance Hone in the future, when needed.

Tech and initial timeliness of fix (home warranty) was no problem. Unfortunately the fix didn’t work and heater continued to not operate properly. It happens I understand.
Called to have tech come back out and resolve the problem. Called on 23/24/25/26. Each time clerk said she’d tell her boss and someone would call me back. Today’s the 29th and no one has called me back. I notified my home warranty insurance on 25th and they also haven’t received a call back. If someone from upper management would like to call me and discuss that’d be great. But approaching a week and no resolution from initial fix, which has already been paid. I do not recommend this company as there is no way to elevate the issue past the front desk people that always promise a call back.

Called yesterday, 29 Jan at 1650, left a voicemail referencing the Google review, followed your instructions and asked to talk with the owner. In keeping with tradition, it’s been 24 hours with no call back since I called per your reply below. Our business is complete, if you want my feedback on your employees and customer service, feel free to call me. Just trying to help out a business owner. There’s plenty of other reviews on here that are identical to mine. If not. Best of luck.

I was given an appointment day and time via email by my home warranty company so I stayed home on July 21 and never heard from or saw anyone. I even got a reminder email that morning. About 30 minutes before the end of the window, I called the home warranty company because I knew the job couldn’t be done in 30 minutes, especially since no one had arrived. I was on hold while Reliance Home Comfort was being contacted and then the music stopped but the time was still running, so I wasn’t disconnected. I ended up hanging up and calling Reliance myself and the lady (I think Dee) who answered explained that they make the appointment not the home warranty company, which makes sense. She told me she would call me that night between 8-10pm, which to me is late for a business. She stated she doesn’t call anyone after 10pm. She even gave me a number to call (251-7402), unless I wrote it down wrong. At 9:45pm, I called and left a message and still haven’t heard from them. I called the home warranty company and canceled my appointment. Why say you are going to do something and don’t? Your word is your bond.

Two months and counting without AC, and I can't get anybody to call me back to schedule an appointment. A previous same day appointment was scheduled without my knowledge, and I received a call saying arrival would be in 1-2 hours. Of course, I was not at home because I have something called a job. Maybe I'll get a response after posting this. From the previous reviews, it looks like the owner is very responsive to negative reviews. 🤞🏽

    Response to Sept 7th post,

Yes, you tried to service my home the exact same day, which is not how service appointments are scheduled.

Timeline since it was determined I needed a new motor.

Aug 21st- same day notice a service appointment was scheduled. I was at work and unavailable and spoke directly to Zachariah.

Today, Sept 7th- another same day notice of a service appointment scheduled because apparently I have nothing else to do.

The ultimate issue with this company is that there is no direct communication. Appointments are just randomly scheduled without speaking to the homeowner.

The response posted today is the most communication I have received, directly, since this nightmare started July 5, 2024.

    HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Reliance came in and saved the day. It was a very cold Day and my heat went old. I called the warranty company and thankfully, they sent Reliance Home Comfort. They acted quickly to get heat back up and running to my home. I have relied upon them for other jobs in my home as well. I refer them to my friends. If you want the job done right with a honest, reliable company, this is the company to call.

I've dealt with Reliance Home Comfort and met their owner on several occasions over the past 3 years. Each time we've interacted he has been knowledgeable and professional, as well as displaying the utmost integrity. I recently recieved an email asking if any existing or previous customers would be willing to submit and honest and accurate review and I reliazed that he's never asked for a review before. He always said if he did good work, please pass on a referral. Anytime someone needs heating, gas or plumbing needs he is the first person I give them. Some of my friends have said he was too busy to take on their job initially but chose to wait and said the wait was worth it. I agree!

This company has done work at my property twice! I filed a claim with the warranty company and this company is who they sent! One was for my furnace duct and once for my ac! Both times they were patient with myself and my tenant as I do not live in the area! Both times the job was done just as it was explained! I’d highly recommend them to anyone!

I was referred to them by my home warranty company. The first week they came and whatever they did worked for a few days. The second time they came they found an issue unrelated to the reason my system was not heating properly. They lied to the home warranty company and said that the unrelated safety issue was the cause of it not working. Obviously the issue was there for the 3 winters we have been in the house and never had a problem. Our claim was denied. Our systems were both running on the second visit. The issue was we had to run the emergency heat in order for it to work. After the second visit they removed a part off of my furnace without my permission and then absolutely nothing worked. The technicians left abruptly and said we would receive a phone call back from the owner to explain what was going on that night and never received anything. The next day the owner took no responsibility as to why we now have no heat. Completely unprofessional and didn’t care that they have now caused a bigger issue and that we have to go several nights before the issue is resolved by another company. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you are ok with paying out of pocket for several other things before your actual issue is resolved. I definitely would not recommend if you are going through your home warranty company.

Update: It was told to us that our flame sensor was cleaned and the second contractor showed us that it was not. They were able to confirm what the issue was and it was completely different from what we were told by Reliance. Make sure the contractor that they send is familiar with your system or do not allow them to make a bad situation worse.

Before we even recieve any service, already the most disappointed experience.
I know they don't care about customers through contracted home warranty company, but this time was the worst, like I said, even before we recieve any work.
We put the ac repair claim and they assigned this company to come in. They were "all booked" next 7days. But they did take our $100 service fee already. 10days later, They finally said they will be coming between 1-5pm... Waited... No show with a silence.
And of course because of their business hours, even the warranty company have to wait til weekend passes, so extra 2 more days to wait until, who knows the next available date for them to come take care of this cheap paying customer, right?
They are officially the most unprofessional and rude contractor in my past 10years of experience.

In June of 2023, I contacted Reliance Home Comfort regarding my hot water heater. During the consultation, the owner Derick was very patient and through with explaining the issue and what was needed to fix the problem. In July, he and one of his technicians came and replaced my water heater. The replacement has reduced both my water and gas bills! I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!! Thankfully my HVAC systems are functioning optimally at this time however if I ever need this type of service, Reliance will be my first choice!!

Reliance Home Comfort worked with my warranty company to resolve issues with both of my air conditioning units which stopped working at the same time. I was originally assigned two different companies, neither of which expressed the ability to even assess the problems until months later. Reliance Home Comfort provided an honest assessment of the problems and options for resolving the problems that would provide fast, but efficient relief. They worked quickly to secure a day and time and the team worked diligently to diagnose an unexpected issue that required several team members to work well beyond the expected time frame to ensure that the units were replaced and working. All of my questions were answered (and even my mom's questions). The entire team was professional, knowledgeable and patient. My whole family is appreciative of the quality of work that was done and the willingness of the team to stay the course until we had relief.

I usually don't takeathe time to review companies sent by a warranty company however this will be the exception. Derrick the owner / technician came to troubleshoot/ repair my ac unit and I couldn't have been more pleased. With his knowledge and professionalism. He arrived as discussed and made ever effort to communicate his intentions and provide clear and concise explanations. In this current time of something for the minimum the service he provide was exceptional.
I now have a ac company that is worth consistently using and endorsing. I recommend his services without reservation.

Where to start. They came out pretty quick to diagnose my problem (bad compressor in a heat pump). I called to check up on things for 2 weeks and they kept telling me they were waiting for the home warranty company to get everything straight. I call the home warranty 2 whole weeks after they came out and they didn't even know they had been to my house and diagnosed the problem! So can't say this company stays on top of things. Then when trying to set up an appointment to get a new until installed (per the home warraty coverage) they called me on a Friday, wanted to do the next Monday or Tuesday but was going to call back to confirm. I called later that Friday evening and even again on Saturday left a voicemail never heard back. I get a call Monday morning while at work telling me they're on their way to my house! Of course that's not gonna work, so poor communication there along with them not communicating about not sending the paper work from the weeks prior. Only reason it's not getting a one star is because the workers did a pretty decent job and knew what they were doing. Only complaint is I had to re tape the intake and exhaust side of the air handler (see pic).
    Cons:
Didnt send in paper work to home warranty in timely manner
Hard to get a hold of even when leaving voicemails
    Can't set up appointments correctly
Installation needed a little help (the air gaps at air handler
    Pros:
The workers did a decent job other than the taping, and didn't take forever to get the unit installed (indoor air handler and outdoor compressor)
Needless to say if I have any HVAC problems beyond this point I don't plan to call them, if it's through home warranty, I'd ask for a different contractor. It took a whole month from diagnosis to new until installed and it was because of this company. When my home warranty got their paper work (finally) they had a unit ready within 2 days for them to pick up. Sorry Reliance, no bueno.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They have truly been a lifesaver for my family on multiple occasions. We had a home emergency a few months ago and Derrick was able to come out that same night to help us. Their prompt and efficient service saved us from what could have been a much bigger disaster.

Not only did they come through in an emergency, but they have consistently provided top-notch service every time we have called upon them. They have always been reliable and trustworthy. I never have to worry about the quality of their work because they always go above and beyond to make sure everything is done correctly.
Overall, I cannot recommend this company enough. They have consistently exceeded my expectations and have earned my loyalty as a customer. If you are in need of any type of home services, do not hesitate to call them. They will not disappoint. Thank you to this amazing company and Derrick for always coming through for my family when we needed it most.
