The tech (Irwin) arrived ahead of schedule for our scheduled system maintenance. As he performed all the checks, he explained exactly was he was doing and why. He was friendly, efficient and courteous (as is typical with Comfort Solutions over the years we have been using them). Definitely recommend them for HVAC services.

We recently had maintenance performed on our indoor cassette system, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The technician Jainer removed the cover to access the internal components, replaced the drain pump and water level sensor, and ensured all wiring and drain tubing were properly secured.

Everything was reassembled neatly, and the system was thoroughly tested in cooling mode to confirm proper drainage and sensor performance. The technician verified the pump operation and confirmed that the unit was cooling efficiently again.

No issues were found after testing — the system is now running perfectly. Also, Andee and scheduling team is really organized and makes the entire process so smooth to get your system up and running. Great attention to detail and highly professional work!

Comfort Solutions has maintained/replaced/maintained (further) my townhouse HVAC system for many years, and I have always been happy with the service and technical support from their team. Irwin, the technician who conducted my semi-annual system maintenance checkup today, was a true professional in all ways. He was efficient, complete, willing to explain the process and his findings, and open to answering my many homeowner questions about monitoring my HVAC system controls during this year's seasonal temperature swings. I highly recommend Comfort Solutions for Minisplit work. We had been trying to find a vendor to install minisplits in our 1925 DC row house for a long time - years in fact. Because of certain characteristics of our home, installation required a little more creativity and engineering than a typical project. We went through what felt like hundreds of bad proposals before meeting the Comfort Solutions team - who immediately recognized the challenge and offered a sound, sensible, and affordable solution. Not only did they come up with the best answer, but they also offered a very competitive price and communicated with us better than any of the countless other companies we met with about the project.

We were very happy with the Comfort Solutions team before the work even started - then we met Irwin and Fabian who led the installation - and our experience got even better. They were very professional, very respectful, and very communicative - really just kind of guys you would be so happy to welcome into your home. They cleaned up so well after each day of work, they kept us up to speed on their progress, and most importantly, they installed everything perfectly - and exactly as we had agreed they would.

Our experience with this company really could not have been any better. We are so happy we chose them for this project. I’m not one for writing too many online reviews but these guys deserve all the kudos I’ve offered here and more. I don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied in any way if you chose this company for your next project.

Everyone at Comfort Solutions goes above and beyond to provide the best - from their amazing customer service to the highly skilled installation and maintenance of our two heat pump systems. Ours house was a challenge, large with high ceilings, prior ductwork was subpar, hot and cold spots everywhere. They have made a HUGE difference in how comfortable our home feels, and our electric bill. Rich Jones really is The Man when it comes to both HVAC system design and running a company, everyone on his team is exemplary. Irwin, Guillermo and Gerson worked tirelessly to get everything right, returning three times to tweak things to perfection. We could not be more pleased!

Can’t say enough about Jainer, the technician who came out to inspect the systems in our new house. He was great! Super thorough, so knowledgeable, patient with all of my questions, incredibly capable, very friendly. I think the job ended up taking longer than probably any of us expected and he just got it all done and left everything better than before. We will absolutely call Comfort Solutions again and I hope we can request Jainer in the future.

Comfort Solutions installed a new HVAC systems and water heater to our residence. Before installation, they performed a system inspection day where they also took measurements of our furnace ductwork and made a custom attachment duct that fit the furnace perfectly. We are very happy with the new systems installed. We opted for a heat pump to replace our outdoor AC system paired with a gas furnace and new humidifier. Our technician Fabian, and his crew did a marvelous professional job on the install.

Stop looking for other HVAC providers. Just call Comfort Solutions. Our situation was an emergency with loss of heat during the recent cold spell. After calling 25 other contractors in the DMV area - Jackie answered the phone. I explained the situation that we had a diagnosis but nobody could source the part (draft induction motor assembly) for up to 3-7 days and was looking for a provider that could source and install the part that day, Jackie said "let me handle it and make some calls".

She called the President of the company, explained the situation (which is unusual because most vendors need to perform their own diagnostic and only then source the part), who agreed to work outside of their standard operating procedures to see if they had the part. As 'Diamond' members of multiple distribution centers they found the part, immediately dispatched a parts carrier to immediately pick up the part and drop it off at the house and then send the technician later. Fabian, the HVAC expert, installed in less then 45 minutes and...a key point - didn't try to upsell me on an entirely new HVAC unit. When I gave him the opening he explained that I should start looking shortly with a unit that is from 2012 but that the heater is safe and working and should get you through the winter. Regardless to say - I will buy a new HVAC unit from this company this spring or fall.

We’ve used Comfort Solutions several times over the last few years - their service, products and communication continue to be top-notch. On two recent service calls, we had the pleasure of working with Irwin, who went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied. A big thanks also to Brian Downs, who took the time to walk us through our options to make sure we chose the right path. We’ll definitely be using Comfort Solutions again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC help.

We have gone through three other HVAC companies in the DMV that have ghosted us, gouged us, and installed and charged us a premium for parts we didn’t even need. Comfort Solutions has been incredible in getting our HVAC system back in working order and even pointed out other issues from previous places that we needed to get fixed. Cannot say enough good things about Fabien P, he has been our tech both times and did incredible and thorough work! They are reasonably priced and do an incredible job!

I had them install a whole home humidifier in my townhouse. I am beyond impressed by how professional these guys are. I’ve worked with many HVAC companies in the area, but hands down, this is the first time where I felt like these guys are not sweet talking to just win your business. They are genuinely professional and awesome.

Firstly, I got quotes from multiple companies and Comfort solutions beat everyone else by far and are also listed as a preferred provider on the manufacturer (Aprilaire) website, which made me pick them.

There were some hiccups during the installation and it took a little longer than expected. But they were extremely honest about timelines, set the right expectations and owned the project thoroughly from start to finish. I really appreciated their honesty, which is not easy to come by in this line of business, based on my limited experience. The guys constantly kept me informed about the process and developments as they installed the humidifier.

Special shoutout to the technicians Fabian, Irwin L & Jainer for doing a superb job. Fabian set the bar high when he came the first day with the way he went about his business. But after having some minor complications in the project, he was joined by Jainer who followed suit when it came to the level of professionalism. Finally, Irwin came in on Day 3 to wrap up the job, educate us on the maintenance procedures, timelines etc and was super nice to talk to!

I had an outstanding experience when Comfort fixed my heat. Jackie got Janier to my home in less than 2 hours from my call. They both are friendly, professional, and caring. My system needed a part and the owner Rich personally dropped it off!
It’s rare to find good service any more but Comfort Solutions is the exception.

Comfort Solutions is a great company - even in the middle of the recent snow storm they continued to provide first rate service. Jainer and Irwin came out this week. They had to dig out a place to park their van. They had smiles on their faces and provided professional service and got our heat working quickly. They treated our home with great care. Explained the problem. Jackie and Andee were both very helpful in coordinating the work. They returned emails during the weekend and took calls before and after hours. Great employees work at Comfort Solutions.

Comfort Solutions is a wonderful HVAC Company. We got 3 different options for our mini-split heat pump system estimation. The online signature and payment options were great. The office staff is great and the techs kept us well informed the entire way. Our installation techs Gillermo H. and Fabian P. were excellent! They were quick, but thorough, highly professional and when they left, the work areas were pristine. They ensured we were well informed on the operation of the new system, maintenance and of course provided all manuals and documents for the new system. I highly recommend Comfort Solutions.
