Starting a remodel project that required the removal of an outdated oil furnace, water heating system. The team did an excellent job removing the old equipment and left the room clean despite some soot escaping the old furnace. I was also surprised at how fast they were able to remove some very heavy equipment! Looking forward to additional work by Bear Mechanical as the project progresses in the next couple months.

Bear Mechanical has been providing Maintenace services to our roof fans. They did a great job and wonderful post sales services.

AC stopped working on Thursday evening. Called them first thing Friday and a technician arrived that morning. The unit was repaired and back online within 30 mins. Very happy especially since it was going to be 91 degrees. Thank you once again for great service. Will call again if the need arises.

My HVAC unit stopped working. It wouldn’t cool, heat or run the fan. I called Bear Mechanical and they responded immediately. The serviceman was professional, efficient, and polite.He evaluated the problem and gave me a quote to fix it. With my approval, he quickly went to work. Now life Is good! Thank you Bear!

Bear Mechanical is an outstanding company. I have a 21 yo home and they have replaced the original AC unit, Furnace and Heat Pump. Their work is excellent and their team fabulous. They are great!

3rd floor AC was not working. Bear was recommended and I called immediately. He was there in 48 hours and fixed the AC on time and on budget. I asked if he could look at the other two units and without blinking he said "Of course." He gave the extra units a thorough going over and everything is working fine. Highly recommended!!!

Always been nice and knowledgeable. Used to be fair priced.. called and told them I needed refrigerant. Cost me over $600 just for them to come and add some. Guess I'll be finding someone else from now on.

Have used Bear Mechanical 3 times(2019/2020) and all was excellent. Most recently, I chose them to put in a new heat pump system. Owner, Adam Lucas came out within 24 hours of call & furnished a detailed written estimate. The new HP units were installed 6/26/20! He and a crew of 3 came out ON TIME, covered carpet, worked hard all day but I hardly knew they were there, and best of all when they left I had no clean up to do!
After 8.5 years, I finally have an upper level heat pump system that really cools, even in Richmond's hot, humid Summers!

My air conditioning did not work on a hot weekend and I called and they immediately responded and could send someone out the same day. The owner came out and did fantastic work. My AC unit quit draining condastion outside crawl space and flooded crawl space , humidity has went up and caused a whole list of other problems . I called bear mechanical on Monday they said they could come Thursday . But actually came early on Wednesday. fixed problem quickly and even serviced unit for a very fair price !!!! Adam and his helper Adam were awesome and great guys ! Will definitely use again and recommend to friends and family

My a/c wasn't working and Bear Mechanical was recommended by a friend so I called and was pleasantly surprised by the politeness of the woman that answered the phone, she was very helpful and had Adam come out the same day! He did a tune up on my unit and we were good to go. Fast, friendly and reasonably priced. Will use again when needed.

Thanks to the Bear Mechanical team, my daughter purchased a house that needed a heatpump, and some plumbing repairs. The Bear Mechanical team rolled in with every man on deck with breakfast, even the owner of the company was there! They were friendly, knowledgeable and they all had GREAT attitudes! The plumbers came back on another day to repair, they even repaired something that was not on the list. They just saw it and repaired it! We feel so comfortable knowing that this company goes the extra mile and we can get great plumbing and heating service from ONE stop shop! Special shout out to "Bob the Plumber" for his knowledge. My daughter was thoroughly schooled on the Do's and Don't!!!

WE were super impressed with Scott Cook from BEAR Mechanical. It was our coldest day in Richmond so far and we had lost heat. He came the day we called AND he fixed our heating problem that day without having to order the part. He is truly dedicated to the customer and BEAR is lucky to have him. Thank you BEAR mechanical.

Bob Corson and his helper came to replace my water heater in my basement. Not only did they show up early, but they explained everything along the way. The were amazing and friendly. Knowledgeable and patient. They had everything they needed and they wrapped up the job well before the estimated time. The water heater is head and shoulders better than the old one, even on its best day! I will keep these guys in mind the nexttime I need their services. I called and within 2 hours Bob and his assistant were here to unstop a toilet. They were professional, explaining things and recommending ways to keep drains open.
I felt the price was reasonable for a job well done. I like that the company is locally owned so I'll definitely call them again should the need arise.

We had a great experience start to finish with Bear Mechanical. Kristie was so nice and got scheduled so quickly. They came out to clean and inspect out AC Unit.
