We cannot recommend Bear Mechanical highly enough! Bob, their exceptional plumber, went above and beyond to complete a total boiler replacement in our 1904-built home. This was no small task—replacing an antiquated oil-fired boiler with a natural gas system, disposing of the old unit, and reworking extensive plumbing to supply both domestic hot water and properly pressurized radiator heating for our two-story house.

This 5-day project was made even more challenging by the coldest week of the year, during which we had no heat or hot water. Despite these conditions, Bob worked tirelessly, often late into the night, to ensure we would regain hot water service as quickly as possible.

Bob’s expert craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were truly remarkable. Not only does the new system work flawlessly, but the aesthetic quality of his work is a testament to his skill and pride in his profession. I called at 2:30 on a Friday after the furnace quit working. I wasn't hopeful that I could get a same day appointment but did ask for the soonest appointment available. Kim in the office was able to locate a technician in the area leaving another job and was able to schedule him for that afternoon. He arrived shortly afterwards. He was professional and very knowledgeable and made quick work of the faulty furnace. The cost to repair was much less than I anticipated and he was pulling out of my driveway with the work complete at 3:30 - just one hour after my initial call. I am extremely impressed and grateful and will definitely call again next time there is a need.

The technician was prompt and knowledgeable. He replaced a motor on our 32 year old ac unit the day we were scheduled to have guests arrive for graduation weekend. His advice was solid and sound and we will use Hanover Air again for any HVAC issues in our future.
