I've used Daniel's for the past 12-13 years and have been very satisfied with their service. Kenny has been my go to service tech and he does an outstanding job every time. Ellie in the office needs to be a little nicer to long time customers sometimes she can come over as someone who doesn't care as much about the customer as they did in the past.

working with Daniels for some 16 years now. Always found them to be fair and conscientious. Great company to work with great peogreat technicians. Good service recommended to all.

Daniels’s serviced my previous a/c unit and when it became time to replace it, I discussed it with them. I knew I wanted a Lennoxi so it was a natural that I asked them to make the installation. I have been totally happy with this decision, my electric bill has been lower and I look forward to seeing the same consultant completing the semi-annual maintenance each year. Daniel’s feels like family.

We have always had a wonderful experience with John at Daniels. We know we can trust him and that he will provide us with great service. John is knowledgeable about the product and works hard to please his customers. We will continue to use Daniel's as well as share the news with our friends and family.

This company is truly focused on customer service. I hired them more than a year ago to flush my tankless water heater and look over my A/C system. I was so impressed by the technician (Kenny) who did the work that I signed up for a 1 year maintenance plan. The technician was thorough and explained everything he found about my system. He really took his time.
My interactions with the office personnel are also the definition of good customer service.
A while later, I decided to replace my thermostats. I called and had a long conversation with the person in the office (Ellie) about what the best types of thermostats I should buy and the cost if I purchased from Daniel's. She was very knowledgeable and offered various alternatives with the strengths and weaknesses of each. I decided to see if I could beat the cost of the units. Luckily, I found the units on a special deal on Amazon.
When I called back and told her, she was fine with that and agreed they would install them for me.
Kenny showed up to do the work and was just as excellent as before. In fact, he set up the Wi-Fi connections for me.
They are prompt, responsible, and very fairly priced.
I do not hesitate for a second in giving them my highest recommendation. Every employee I have encountered is professional and caring and demonstrates that customer service is number one.

It has been almost a year since my first review. Kenny, one of their technicians has been out for a service call and for the Winter.maintenance.He is very friendly but professional and thorough. He mskes certain understand what he has done. He showed me a part that he had to replace so I could see for myself that it was bad. He and his company make a point of following up to make sure I am satisfied. My original rating and comments are confirmed based upon my 1 year as a customer.

I had a number of bids for my new HVAC system. Daniel's was the only company that I got a rosy feeling with. They took the time needed for a smooth running, lasting HVAC system. All the other competitors missed something that was ultimately required and eventually would affect the durability of the system. They were very thorough and did the job right, I highly recommend them!

Needed a very particular water heater to pair with an Aquatherm air handler that was previously installed. Ronnie was able to order the exact heater I needed and have it installed within two days. He also identified an issue with the old water heater installation and made sure to walk me through everything and install this one correctly. Price was agreeable and the job was done quickly and efficiently. Ronnie was extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

When Jeff did the yearly inspection he found a problem that we hadn't realized. He ordered the part and returned to install it. This was a service we really appreciate and we are so glad to be part of Daniel's family. Thank you!

Always great maintenance service for heating/ air as well as tankless hot water heater. I have used them for over 5 years. Two years ago my water heater burst on Christmas eve day - lost power and it froze. The owner came out to assess and at least I had cold water for the holiday. They replaced it in about 3 days. Awesome!

I had a situation with my central AC that had a number of twists and turns involving my home warranty program, and Daniel's worked with me every step of the way until the problem was solved. Great people, great company! Thank you Jeff, for coming out of your way to help us. You found and fixed the problem quickly and we appreciated your friendly attitude!

John Gibson headed the team that installed a new Lennox gas furnace, heat pump and AC unit. John and the entire team did a wonderful job- very polite, courteous and professional. He answered all of our questions and they were very efficient with the install. We have used Daniel's for years and would highly recommend them.

My technician Jeff today came and inspected my systems and identified issues and cleaned my units. He was very thorough and identified issues that need to be corrected due a previous faulty installation by another company.

Always on time and I know the technicians that service my system by name. This company provides great service and knowledge that is unusually helpful, especially in terms of their competitors. I get help when needed, with pricing that is fair and appropriate. No long, wind up sales pitches in the last 5 years (even when I needed a unit replacement.) Very happy with the relationship.

We have used Daniel's for 20 years and they have always looked after us. Our house which is >4000 square feet with three units over three floors has gone through generations of updates and they have always been super responsive, including coming out Christman eve a number of years back. I strongly recommend as a trustworthy and friendly local company.

I love the service I receive from Daniels. Kenny F. is the technician that I request. He is always thorough, always shows up on time, never leaves a mess, and leaves the description of the service call on my desk by the thermostat.
He also installed the tankless water heater for me. Completely happy with the work.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Daniel's Heating and Refrigeration, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. From the moment I contacted them, Ellie in the main office was incredibly helpful and attentive. She went above and beyond to ensure that all my questions were answered and that I was completely satisfied with the service.

Also, John, who was the onsite professional was equally as helpful and thorough with the work they performed. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Ken did a great job fixing our boiler that he described as "the oldest he'd ever seen." That's no surprise for an old building in Richmond! Ken was on time, thorough in his work, and described in understandable details what he needed to do in order to fix our boiler. He even returned, no questions asked, when we thought the temperature was a little too hot. Turned out it was an easy fix on our end. Daniel's Heating and Refrigeration is a professional group of experts and I'd recommend them to anyone! Thanks again.

The communication was great, the install team was respectful and worked efficiently. This organization offers a very personable experience and I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of an HVAC system. I have been doing business with DH for over 16yrs. They are and have been very reliable with great customers service. Two days ago our A/C went out. The very next day DH fixed the problem..The Technician took no time in put things back together. He was very professional and also personal in a respectful way. Great company that you don't see on TV.

I am so happy that I chose Daniel's for my heat pump installation. I priced out several competitors and my decision boiled down to the most honest, most personable, and best-valued system. I worked with Ronnie on my quote and he gave me his best price the first time around, unlike another large commercial contractor. He explained the work that would be done and educated me on the system. I even learned how the installation of my previous system was not as efficient as it could be because the duct size did not allow maximum airflow.
I was happy to schedule my installation with Daniel's, however, when the day came, I was stranded in New York because of a delayed flight coming back from Nashville. I called and emailed the office to reschedule because there was no way I would make it back in time. Mrs. Daniel returned my call in the morning. She was so understanding and kind and was able to keep me calm in what felt like a chaotic situation for me.
On the day of the installation, John, my technician, did a spectacular job and I had a chance to meet Mrs. Daniel when she personally came to my home to collect payment. But the AC stopped working a few weeks after my unit was up and running. I called the office to report the issue and they immediately scheduled a technician to come out and take a look. Jeff came out to diagnose the situation and determined that I'd need a part replaced. Within a couple of days, John returned to do the repair and my system was back to normal.

Daniels is by far the most responsive and dependable company and has truly the most dedicated employees. I have used Daniels for over twenty years and have never been disappointed with their service or performance. Jeff Bean who is our service technician is truly outstanding and professional and takes time to explain any issues and makes sure we are satisfied with work performed. Highly recommended this company.
